"What are you looking for me for?" Dr. Lee asked as he looked at Erik leisurely, his body leaning against the back of the chair, his hands folded over his chest.

"I want to talk about the operation tomorrow," Erik replied in his typical cold voice, Ayumi could feel the aura of tension between them that made her feel squeezed. Let alone to continue eating, to raise his head he felt unable, not out of fear but he could not afford to look at the man he hated and still missed it.

"No need to worry, everything is ready if the test results are good then tomorrow there will be no obstacles" replied Dr. Lee, he was now looking at Ayumi who was still stirring her food, "Quick finish your meal or you will continue to sit here all day!"

Ayumi exhaled heavily, at a glance she glanced at her staff doctor with a deadly glance.

"Oh! How could someone glance at me with such a glance!" Dr. Lee while bringing his face closer to the face of Ayumi who is getting her head down.

"Try it over again!" Ayumi shook her head as she continued to bow her head, seeing that it was now Dr. Lee who exhaled heavily, his left hand holding Ayumi's chin then raised it until his round eyes were wide in shock now looked at the man's sharp eyes, "Didn't I tell you not to bow your head in front of anyone?" Dr. Lee said as he continued to look at Ayumi who still looked shocked by what the man was doing in front of Erik who could now only grumble his teeth.

"Don't ever put your head down again because you're not wrong, Ayumi. Don't let the people who blaspheme us be happy to see us defeated and weak, show that we are strong and can face everything, show that we are okay, do you understand?"

Ayumi slowly nodded, her round eyes still staring at Dr. Lee who also looked at him gently and firmly, for a while they both dissolved in their respective views forgetting that there was someone in front of them whose heart ached watching it all.

"Well.how can you have eyes as round and as beautiful as this? Did you do the surgery on your eyes?"

"A.what?"

"Seung Won, didn't you know him a long time ago, did he have those eyes from a long time ago?" Ask Dr. Lee while looking at Erik who was looking at Ayumi's eyes, eyes that used to make her fall in love, eyes that used to always look at her with affection.

"Yes, he had those eyes from a long time ago" said Erik, his eyes could not be seen Ayumi who was now pretending to enjoy her food.

"Well, you must have kept your brother busy threatening and kicking the men like he did to me yesterday" Dr. Lee smiled, while Erik furrowed his brows at the doctor's words.

"You met his brother?" Ask Erik who made Dr. Lee turned his gaze from Ayumi towards the man who looked at her curiously.

"Yes, yesterday I met him, did you know him too?"

Ayumi stopped her meal for a moment while listening to the conversation of the two men, she wanted to leave the two and busied herself until it was all over.

"No I don't know him."

"I had expected him, he would only go to men who tried to get close to his beloved sister" said Dr. Lee while staring at Ayumi who was eating greedily as if not disturbed by the conversation of the two who made themselves as the object of conversation.

"And a cold man like you couldn't possibly have realized there was such a beautiful woman in front of you all along, such an amazing woman like him," Dr. Dr. Kardashian continued. Lee without taking his eyes off Ayumi who for a few seconds was stunned to hear his words.

"But I wonder, how could the man who left you escape your brother?"

Ayumi fell silent again, her chest beating back as if reminded back to the betrayal of the man who was now sitting before her, whose cold eyes stared intently at her. Without taking into account Dr. Lee, Ayumi again feed her in silence.

"Tell me, did your brother warn the man like he warned me?"

Ayumi took a deep breath before answering briefly, "Yes."

Erik frowned trying to think, his older brother Ayumi admonished him? But when? He's never even met her.

"Hmm.. but that guy loves you so much that he keeps chasing you?"

Ayumi put in a big mouthful of rice and bulgogi, she chewed it quickly then swallowed it, "But I was too naive back then, I believed that she loved me as much as I loved her, proof he could leave me so easily." Ayumi resumed her eating vigorously, trying to finish her meal immediately and left.

Erik was silent, his heart was racing at Ayumi's words, there was a sick feeling from the girl's voice, and he knew it was him who caused the pain.

"So your sister has never met ******* that?"

Ayumi was silent at Dr. Lee, he put in the last mouthful of his food and then swallowed it just by chewing a few times, then pushed the food with one glass of water. He tidied up the empty plate on the chocolate tray, and got ready to stand up.

"Instead, my brother knew him well" he said, standing up, his hand carrying a tray of empty plates and glasses, his head nodded furiously leaving the two men who were still silent dissolved in their respective thoughts.

"So her brother knew the man well, is he perhaps her brother's friend?" Dr. Lee was curious about the man who had made Ayumi a cold woman.

Erik frowned trying to think, he knows Ayumi's sister? But he had never even met her.

"Don't it ever occur to you that Kevin might be my brother?"

Erik's heart stopped remembering Ayumi's words yesterday, could it be true? But why did Ayumi never tell him about their relationship, no.

"You said you've met her brother, what's he like?" Erik asked curiously.

Dr. Lee raised his eyebrows, "You're curious?" Erik just shrugged his shoulders trying to be relaxed.

"You can see it now" said Dr. Lee while marking with his head towards the television in the cafeteria, Erik turned his body to look at the square object stuck on the wall, his eyes widened, his heart felt dislodged, he said, the deepest regret came to the fore when he saw Kevin conducting a press conference regarding his relationship with Ayumi.

"His name is Ayumi Maheswara and she is the younger sister who has been living in Indonesia and then continued her medical studies in Canada. He just finished it a few months ago, so he just came here not long ago, after he got his doctorate and was planning to take specialis in Korea..."

Erik could no longer hear what Kevin was saying at his press conference, the conversation between him and Ayumi yesterday spun around filling his head. His face paled remembering how he hurt the girl yesterday with his unforgivable words, all Ayumi's words again ringing in his ears.

"You just want to believe what you want to believe."

"If you believe me why don't you ask me."

"What if he's the brother I just found out about? Aaah of course you won't believe it."

Everything he said was true, he should have trusted the girl more than anyone but he preferred to believe in his own ego.

"You okay?" Dr. Lee asked after seeing Erik's paled face, but the man only looked at him with a blank look before he finally seemed to be in a state of disobedience as he ran out of the room leaving Dr. Lee who looked confused, he looked at the figure who was getting away from it and then looked back at the television where Kevin was doing a question and answer. His sharp eyes stared coldly at the direction where Erik had disappeared, his jaw slowly starting to harden with anger.

Like a madman he ran down the aisle looking for the figure he had hurt, how could he make the same mistake? Judging him without asking first.

In his heart he cursed himself and went back to blaming Ayumi, because only that girl could make him feel like he lost his mind, only that girl could destroy his heart and mind, only that girl could drive him mad from anger and longing, feeling both hate and love, and only that girl could melt his heart of heartless coldness into having emotions like a human in general.

Erik kept running down every hallway, he checked it out in the ER but the room looked quiet no round-eyed girl figure was looking for, he said, he tried to see her in the rest room of the residents but again he also did not find her there, he asked the sisters and doctors he met but no one knew of her whereabouts.

Erik ruffled his hair in despair, he was annoyed at not being able to find the girl and also did not know his phone number during his time in Korea, he stood on the steps of the Hospital facing the glass wall that presented the view outside and all the hustle and bustle, his eyes glare at the distance trying to calm down. Why is he so stupid by maintaining his ego, his mood that night he asked for an explanation and believe in Ayumi maybe the pain of regret that in the sense will not be as great.
