"I can treat it myself." Ayumi tried to stand up but her shoulder was held by the sturdy hand of the man who had saved her life.

"I know, but I want to treat you" said Dr. Lee casually cleaned the wound on the girl's head. The wound wasn't serious just a bump and a little scratch but he wondered why the bleeding didn't stop? There is still blood coming out of the wound even though it has been given medicine.

Dr. Lee took a gauze and pressed the wound, which made Ayumi frown to endure the pain, after being pressed for a little while and again given the medicine, finally the bleeding stopped, without wasting any time the handsome doctor covered his wound with a new gauze.

"It's fine" he said, staring at Ayumi who was still a little pale, the girl had changed clothes and cleaned her body of dirt from the throwing of flour and eggs that he had received earlier.

"Thank you." Ayumi stood up and bowed respectfully making Lee Soo Hyuk raise his eyebrows.

"No need to thank me, it's every man's duty to protect the woman he likes." Dr. Lee said casually as he looked at Ayumi who stood staring.

"Sunbaenim, you shouldn't have done that."

"And let them kill you in front of me?"

"They won't kill me."

"really?" Dr. Lee asked as he stood both hands inserted into his pants pocket, his eyes staring at the sharp Ayumi who was also staring at him.

"No. flour and eggs won't kill me. But anyway, I say thank you again." Ayumi nodded her head and walked towards the door.

"I told you not to say thank you" said Dr. That Lee made Ayumi stop her steps for a moment before she stepped back and her hand was about to open the door as the man continued, "No need to say thank you, just buy me dinner alone."

Ayumi turned her back to protest but it seemed like it would be in vain because the man had now pretended to be busy cleaning up his patient files and then preceded Ayumi out of the room to make a visit.

"What are you doing? Why are you still standing there? You're not going to make a patient visit?" Excited after seeing Ayumi who was still standing inside the room with the door open, Ayumi saw some of her resident colleagues had been standing behind the man complete with notes in their hands, and now they look at him curiously.

Ayumi took a deep breath, "I'm sorry" he said as he walked and joined the group of doctors to make patient visits, their routine every morning.

The visit that day was hard for Ayumi, almost all eyes were watching her, whispering behind her even a little gossip about her, Kevin and Dr. Lee's. Different from Dr. Lee who got a look of adoration and praise about his heroic actions this morning from female patients, Ayumi got a sneer and a probing look from them. All Ayumi could do was pretend not to hear her, close her ears tightly, and bow her head trying to hide behind her long hair.

"Eagerly, Ayumi! There's one more!" Ayumi cried inwardly trying to inject power into herself. The shame for him when he entered the last outpatient room because there was filled by six middle-aged female patients with very high curiosity.

All patients welcomed Dr. Lee with a warm smile. The doctor may be indifferent to others, but he will treat the patient as warm as the morning sun, especially for old patients, he will change from the charm of a cold Vampire to the charm of a kind Prince. That is why he is so famous among middle-aged patients, as now he is getting praise for his action this morning.

"Aigo, Dr. Lee, you have the same handsome heart as your face" praised an old woman with short gray curly hair.

"Dr. Lee do you have a lover? I will introduce you to my beautiful granddaughter."

"Grandma Cho, isn't your granddaughter 10 years old? My daughter is compatible with Dr. Lee, besides being beautiful she's also very good at cooking, you must love her."

"No. no. My niece..."

And the struggle about who is the most suitable to be the doctor's wife continues, for a moment the sight makes Ayumi smile and forget the incident that happened to her this morning, until a woman's voice stopped the noise in the room.

"You're right!" Excited one of them and like the domino effect, one comment made all comments the same, now everyone has really focused his eyes on Ayumi who returned to paled, he closed his eyes grimacing remembering the incident this morning when people shouted at him while throwing various objects.

"So tell us, are you really dating that handsome singer?"

The room was suddenly silent waiting for Ayumi's answer to a question from a middle-aged patient whose hand was seen wearing a brace.

"Dr. Lee, isn't that the doctor you saved this morning?" One of the patients asked Dr. Lee who was smiling looked at the woman.

Calmly the man walked towards the paled Ayumi, suddenly his hands were holding onto the shoulder of the girl who instantly jumped in shock, his eyes immediately staring at Dr. Lee with shocked eyes that the doctor replied with a soft, soothing look.

Dr. Lee stood behind Ayumi, his hand gently pulling the girl's shoulder until now he stood up straight, his long finger raising Ayumi's chin to the point of no longer bowing, it was as if he had indirectly told the girl not to bow her head and hide.

"Yes, it's she that I saved this morning, isn't she much prettier than on TV?"

"Well, you're right, she's much prettier than the real thing," said Grandma Cho with a smile that was greeted with an approving mutter from the others.

"You can keep a secret?" whispered Dr. Lee was behind Ayumi's shoulder with eyes looking at the middle-aged patients. Now not only they look curious but the resident doctors and nurses who were there look enthusiastic to hear the continued words of the man.

"You can trust us" said one of those supported with a nod of encouragement from all.

"Actually she's."

Everyone looked surprised, the middle-aged women reflexively closed their mouths using their hands, their eyes wide open staring at the two of them, and, Ayumi was as surprised as everyone in the room but different from Dr. Lee who just smiled casually.

"So... So... are you two dating?"

"Ti..."

"Yes, we're dating, aren't we very compatible?" The man said cutting Ayumi's words to deny her.

"But...What about the male singer? Aren't the pictures of the two of them on the internet?"

"That's just a photo of them having lunch together in the back garden, aren't we used to eat with our friends? Nothing special." Dr. Lee while standing beside Ayumi, "Try you guys imagine, if they're really dating is it possible that they'll eat in a crowded place like the Hospital Park?" He continued while staring at the group of women who now look enthusiastic listening to his explanation, "Of course not? They will eat in secret places. The reporters exaggerated the problem too much, because of a photo lunch alone and it has made a girl's life a mess."

The middle-aged women were now looking at Ayumi with concerned eyes, "You're right, they're outrageous" said one of them who was staring at her.

"Are you not hurt?" Grandma Cho asked softly with the look of her maternal eyes that made Ayumi feel the urge of haru in her heart, she could only shake her head while smiling bitterly.

"Of course he's okay, because there I will take very good care of him" said Dr. Lee while embracing his shoulders gently, and the action was successful in making the middle-aged women smile again and throw typical temptations parents.
