The girl was standing in the middle of the garden bleached by the snow in harmony with the color of the coat she was wearing, her long black hair was covered by a light blue knit hat that protected from the cold of the snow.
"Snow." The girl's face looked up at the slowly falling snow, "Togethers have come, Mah," whispered the girl softly, "Wait, Ayu will definitely find Mamah," his eyes were still staring at the sky that dropped the snowflakes getting heavier.
The girl fixed her scarf to cover her mouth, she took a deep breath before her hand covered in knit gloves of the same color as her hat pulled the old suitcase beside her, slowly he continued his steps down the path to the crowded streets of Vancouver. Without the girl realizing that someone was watching her from earlier, her eyes were fixed on her figure who was pulling a red suitcase in the snowfall, after the girl's figure began to be invisible again, slowly the man turned his back and began to walk, mingling with others who were walking hastily avoiding the snowfall that afternoon.
The heavy snowfall made everyone take shelter behind the warm walls of the house complete with blankets, fireplace and a cup of hot chocolate to warm their bodies. But not with the girl who was pulling the red old suitcase between the thick expanse of snow. His feet were tired of walking, his body was shivering, his teeth were grinding with coldness, as soon as he had to find a place to shelter.
If only his mother had not moved from the address he had, maybe at this time he would not have been hanging in the snow in the country of people like today. But now he continues to walk against the wind and snow that is quite heavy until he has difficulty walking let alone having to carry his old suitcase.
Finally he found a cafe that had been closed with chairs and tables still installed on the terrace. With his body scattered, he walked towards the terrace of the cafe. He looked inside but there was no one there.
With a cold trembling body he pulled some tables and then made a fortress that protected him from the winter wind that pierced to the bone, but the tables did not warm him enough.
He then opened his suitcase, took out a few pieces of clothing to cover his increasingly frozen body. Her small body was rolling behind the table, her teeth were shaking violently, her lips were turning blue, her face was turning pale, her eyelids were getting heavier.
Nah! He flinched, with all his might trying to keep him from losing consciousness. But his body can no longer be invited to cooperate, now his gaze is getting blurry, his eyelids are getting heavier, slowly his consciousness is getting thinner along with the arrival of a light that is getting closer and closer.

The black haired girl looked agile when it came to cleaning dirty dishes and glasses on the table in the cafe.
"Goddessa!" A middle-aged woman with a plump body behind the apron of flowers worn called out to the girl from behind a counter table.
"Please deliver this outside shirt, you know this is one of your fans' orders." The woman blinked one eye and smiled ignorantly which Ayumi responded with her sweet smile.
"He's not my fan, Marry."
"Oh, come on, baby, you think she's willing to sit outside every day just to eat my waffles? My waffles aren't that good, dear." With his thick English accent Marry smiled seductively at the little girl.
"Your waffles are the best in Vancouver, Marry." Ayumi smiled as she picked up a tray containing waffles with ice cream and a flush of maple syrup on it, Marry stopped Ayumi's steps, she clasped the girl's wrist and pulled her closer, he gestured for Ayumi to bring her ears closer so she could whisper.
"Listen, don't forget to ask her name and phone number ok?" Hearing that Ayumi could only roll her eyeballs and shake her head while continuing her footsteps.
"Ayumi, don't forget, before John picks it up." Hearing these words successfully makes Ayumi laugh, John his magical friend, well he is sure that the man will be John's target.
Ayumi walked to the cafe table outside, the table was always a favorite, maybe because of the relaxed atmosphere so visitors can enjoy food while enjoying the beautiful nature of Vancouver.
"Sir, here's your order." Ayumi placed the waffle plate on a round table covered in a red-and-white plaid tablecloth, the man before him only glanced at a glance then nodded before resuming his activities with the pencil and sketchbook drawing that was on his lap, "Is there another order, Sir,"
"No, thank you." The man without even bothering had to lift his head from his picture book when answering Ayumi's question.
Ayumi nodded then went back inside where Marry had been waiting for her.
"How did you succeed?" Marry asked enthusiastically.
"Well, Marry, I think your guess this time is wrong." Ayumi nodded her head looking at the woman who was still staring at her enthusiastically.
"No, my observations are never wrong, baby, he likes you I know from the way he looks at you."
"Marry, he's not even looking at me."
"He's staring at you."
"Just one second." Ayumi raised her eyebrows while smiling when she saw that Marry was not fond of her, she was very sure that the man liked Ayumi.
The man was not quite attractive, but very attractive. Not a European type of man with blond hair and blue eyes, but like most other Asian men with black hair and eyes as dark as night, the man is taller than the average other Asian man, and, his height of about 185cm, his white skin indicates that the man is not from Southeast Asia, I don't know Ayumi can guess it may be from Japan, Korea or China.
Today the man was wearing a thick blue jacket combined with dark blue jeans, he looked serious with his sketchbook. Art student, Ayumi believes she is an art student at the University of British Colombia, where Ayumi studied at the medical school, Ayumi had seen her several times at the college.
"Who are you watching, Ayumi?" The heavy voice belonging to the man who had now been standing beside the girl made her slightly jerked in shock.
"For God's sake, John, you startled me," Ayumi looked at the handsome man with a murderous gaze, John chuckled at Ayumi's reaction and turned his gaze towards where the girl was looking, John immediately whistled when he saw the figure that was the object of Ayumi's view earlier.
"I don't know him either." Ayumi shrugged one shoulder while leaning casually against the counter table next to John who had now folded both his hands over his chest and looked at Ayumi full of probes.
"I'm serious, John, I don't know him" Ayumi looked at John not to lose.
"So you're watching him, even when you don't know his name?" John follows Ayumi who walks into the cafe's kitchen.
"I didn't observe him, I only saw him for a moment," Ayumi continued to walk regardless of John still following her.
"Oh come on, sure enough, you'll know him, at least you'll know his name."
"I'm serious, John, I don't know him." Ayumi opened her working apron, put it inside the locker and took her clothes.
"John, I'm gonna change clothes." Ayumi looked at John who was still standing in front of her.
"Ok, just change it," John's answer successfully made Ayumi glare angrily at him.
"John!"
"Come on, Ayumi, you know I'm more interested in seeing the man in the blue jacket get changed than I am in seeing you." John folded his hands on his chest and looked at Ayumi casually with his eyebrows raised.
"John, after all you're a man and I'm a woman."
"Then?"
"John, this isn't appropriate ok?" John just shuddered his shoulders no matter what, "Listen, however you are a man, and your man's instincts will surely appear when you see a naked woman in front of you" Ayumi looked at John with understanding eyes.
"With a flat body like yours? Believe me, dear, I've even seen a body like Pamela Anderson naked before me, and it has no effect." John nodded convincingly, whereas Ayumi could only look down at his flat body. Can't be that way?
"John, get out of here or I'm gonna totally shut you down." Ayumi growled as she looked into John's eyes and went down just below the man's sixpack stomach and then rose again to look at John's eyes with a look full of threats.
"All right I'm out, you quick-tempered girl, that's why I don't like girls." John murmured as he left the smiling Ayumi, shaking his head at the ravings of John, his magical friend and savior.
She remembers two years ago when her father told Ayumi that her Japanese mother was alive and had remarried and settled in Canada, so the young girl decided to find her mother in Vancouver based on the last address her father got from her mother, but unfortunately all was not as smooth as expected. His mother had moved.
Without a destination the girl dragged her red suitcase in the snowfall in March, where that month the air in Vancouver could penetrate - 25C, he said, accustomed to the hot air in Indonesia Ayumi at that time almost froze to death, that night she took shelter from the snow under the roof of a cafe that had closed. Fortunately John came and saw the girl who almost died of hypothermia, John raised the body of Ayumi who was shivering violently into the cafe, he changed all the wet clothes the girl covered him with layers of blankets, and soaked her feet with hot water, she said, John even fed the girl he did not know was chicken soup and hot chocolate so that eventually his condition improved.
Ayumi will never forget that night, and until now John David Parker is her magical friend and guardian angel. Ayumi walked out of the employee locker room after changing into her jeans, sweeter and red thick jacket she draped the headset connected to the ipone in her jacket pocket, with John's white birthday gift backpack he was ready to go to college that afternoon.
Ayumi walked out the back door after saying goodbye to Mary, and then led her bicycle, the campus is only a few blocks away from the cafe so Ayumi prefers to ride a bicycle so that she can continue to move and not get cold, arriving at the side of the highway next to the cafe he could see John who was now sitting casually talking to the man in a blue jacket, ayumi could only smile at the sight, he had known from the beginning that his guardian angel would not let such a man go.
Ayumi put on her headset and turned on her ipone, the music from the Avanged sevenfold instantly burning her spirit through her ears. He started cycling casually past the cafe where he was working, when suddenly John's screaming voice made him have to stop his bike, Ayumi opens next to her headset because she is not sure if John is calling her or if she is hearing wrong.
"You called me, John?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"What's wrong?"
"There's nothing, I just want to call you," John smiled seductively, while Ayumi could only roll her eyeballs at the behavior of her magical friend.
"Goddessa!" John called the girl back when he was about to put his headset on again.
"What?" Ayumi looked at John lazily.
"His name is Erik, he's from Korea, didn't you want to know his name?" John blinked one eye with a seductive smile, Ayumi could only gape in disbelief at her magical friend, her guardian angel, forget about the magical friend and guardian angel because Ayumi now hopes that a snowstorm will suddenly come and wash away her guardian angel.
Ayumi was convinced that her face was now as red as a Washington apple, she put her headset back on and looked at John with the gaze of a professional assassin, then her mouth said silently, "I'll kill you!" Before returning to pedaling his bike in full force, and unfortunately Ayumi still heard John's laughter blaring.
