"It's not your brother's fault, I told him to talk honestly about your relationship status" said Dr. Choi while looking at Ayumi softly, they were currently in the room of the President of Busan Hospital, Ayumi was walking towards the ER room when her eyes caught the figure of Kevin who was conducting a press conference on the glass screen in the waiting room, he was shocked when his brother revealed their true relationship status, and at the same time his father contacted him and asked to come to his room on the seventh floor.

"I know," Ayumi answered softly as she leaned against the white sofa in the room.

"This is the only way that there is no problem in the future, if Yong Jung says you're just friends, then this rumor won't go away and you'll definitely be chased by reporters and become the subject of his fans as it was this morning." Dr. Choi took a deep breath considering she was late and only heard from her assistant about what had befallen her daughter.

"If one day your relationship is exposed then Kevin will be considered a public lie and it can have a negative impact on his career and life."

Ayumi was wide-eyed to hear the explanation of the man who still looked handsome at his age who was almost half a century old.

"That's right, I didn't think until there.I'm sorry," Ayumi said softly, which made Dr. Choi smiled as he nodded.

"Hmmm... Okay, now that everyone knows that I'm the father of a famous singer, do you think I need to change my appearance?" Ask Dr. Choi was serious about making Ayumi laugh, "Why are you laughing? I'm serious... So do I need to dye my hair red or yellow?"

"Appa.. You will look like a walking traffic light," Ayumi said in between her laughter, seeing her daughter laughing like that was enough to make Dr. Lee was able to breathe a sigh of relief because he knew the girl had gone through a very difficult day.

"Aigo.. have you not seen how brash the kid looks on television? He inherited his abilities from me."

"Aigo. now I know from whom Oppa inherited his narcissistic traits" said Ayumi who made Dr. Choi laughs.

"You should get used to calling him by his Korean name.. Yong Jung Oppa, like that."

"If I call him that, he'll get bigger in the head."

"You're right.. aish! Why did he use Kevin Choi's name when he debuted yesterday, I prefer Choi Yong Jung."

"Because of her brown eyes and her white skin, she's better suited to her western name."

"Ckk. I don't know how he got those brown eyes."

"Oh, I think he inherited his mother's eyes."

"No, no one has eyes like that."

"Is he not your son? Do we need to do a DNA test" Ayumi whispered in a joking tone.

Dr. Choi laughed at the surprised reaction of her daughter, "When she was born she looked like a stranger."

"Are you really doing a DNA test?" Ayumi asked in disbelief, which made her father laugh again.

"Basic stupid! Of course not, I was in that room when he was born so how could he not be my son.he inherited Grandpa's eyes from his British mother."

"Ooh..." Ayumi nods her head to understand where brown eyes and skin like Kevin's westerners come from, even though many in Korea have white and brown eyes, but Kevin's skin is a little red so white and his brown eyes are really bright.

"Enough about your brother, now what about you?"

"Me?"

"Yes, when are you going to start college?"

"Tomorrow I'm going to college to start putting together a course schedule."

Dr. Choi nodded happily, "Have you determined what specialisation will take?"

"Surgical expert." Ayumi answered steadily, hearing the girl's answer Dr. Choi raised his eyebrows but then smiled.

"Surgical experts" said Dr. Choi nodded, "Running what your goals and objectives are, I will support you no matter what."

Dr. Choi sipped the tea before him before continuing, "Appa heard what happened to you today, and I was both angry and sad that I wasn't there to protect you, fortunately, there was Dr. Lee Soo Hyuk took my place to protect you."

Ayumi now looked at her father in confusion as the middle-aged man began to name Dr. Lee in their conversation.

"Ayumi, I have something to talk to you about."

"Oppa, isn't it daritadi we're talking."

"I mean talk seriously to you."

Ayumi raised her eyebrows looking confused.

"Yesterday night, Dr. Lee Soo Hyuk came to see me. He asked permission to approach you."

"A..what?"

"Yes, he seems to really like you. He promised to protect and take care of you and he proved it."

Ayumi fell silent trying to digest the meaning of her father's words, although she had little understanding of where this talk was going.

"Appa.." said Ayumi softly, her chest tight as if there was a large chunk of rock suddenly squeezing her chest that made her want to cry, how could her father talk about matchmaking while her heart was still injured.

"Don't worry, Appa hasn't agreed to their request. Appa says it's up to you, I don't want to impose my will and determine your future, because your future is your right so you're the one who has the right to decide for yourself."

Ayumi smiled at her father's words, her eyes glazed over as she was proud to have another father who was as wise as her own.

"But if you can suggest Appa, give him a chance to get to know you better. There's nothing wrong with you guys being friends, he's a nice guy despite his outward-looking nature but his heart is really good, Appa knows him for a long time, Ayumi, and Appa will calm down if you're with him," said Dr. Lee, his eyes looked at Ayumi softly, there was no compulsion in her tone and it made Ayumi calm down.

"Try opening your heart to enjoy your youth. Remember, we only live one time do not waste your life just by wallowing in sadness and heartache because it will only hurt us."

Ayumi fell silent digesting her father's words, and again it was all true. What his father said was the same as what Kevin said last night, essentially they wanted him to be happy and enjoy life.

The sound of a mobile phone resuscitated the girl's daydream, she quickly clamped her phone after seeing Eun Soo's name on her phone screen.

"Ayumi, where are you? Dr. Park's sending us to the ER right now there's a back-to-back accident!"

"Well, I'm going there now."

Ayumi hangs up her phone then explains the conditions in the current ER to Dr. Choi, he was walking towards the door when his father called him back.

"Ayumi. please consider my words to enjoy life and. be friends with him, there is nothing wrong with that. In the future, you determine I will not interfere."

Ayumi was silent for a while, then nodded, "Alright, I'll give it a try. I'll go first," said Ayumi who made her father smile happily, the girl then walked out of the room while running towards the elevator to get to the ER.

That day Ayumi and the other residents were busy helping their seniors in the ER and she was very grateful to be able to busy herself so that she forgot about the problems that befell her today. All the problems that were raging in his heart and mind seemed to evaporate when he was faced with a patient who needed help as soon as possible.

Lembayung was already aging when Ayumi set foot on the roof of the Hospital, her favorite place to enjoy the twilight atmosphere. His eyes closed, his hands stretched out, the spring breeze swept over his body, blowing away all the trouble that enveloped him, he slowly took a deep breath filling his lungs with fresh air, then exhaled back. Accompanied by the melodious voice of Chris Martin who sang Fix You from his earphones, he repeated the activity several times until he finally exhaled a heavy and long breath as if removing all the tightness in the chest along with the exhale earlier and it made him feel much calmer.

"Oh my God!" Ayumi exclaimed, she jumped up, her hand held a chest that was beating violently in shock, her eyes widened to stare at the figure of the tall man in white clothes who was standing beside her while stretching out his hands, his eyes closed, his suit was blown off the wind making it look like he had just landed from flying.

"Why do you look so surprised?" he asked casually, now that both hands were put in his suit pocket, his tall body leaning against the concrete fence surrounding the roof.

"Se. since when are you here?"

"You?" As she raised an eyebrow, her sharp eyes looked at Ayumi when she heard the girl calling her non-formal.

"I'm sorry.I mean since when was Senior here?"

"Since you did the Titanic scene," he said casually, making Ayumi's cheeks flushed red.

Because of the shame Ayumi turned her gaze to the distance where it was seen Haeundae beach that seemed to reflect the color of the old orange from the sun that began to sink. Silence enveloped them for a while, both of them dissolved in the beautiful scenery that bewitched the two until finally Dr. Lee Soo Hyuk broke the silence.

"I saw you coming out of the President's office this afternoon...Will he talk about me?" Asked while looking at Ayumi who was still staring ahead, the girl simply nodded in response.

"So? What say?"

Ayumi was silent for a while before finally looking at the man beside her trying to look for seriousness behind the sharp eyes of the man.

"Come," he answered, breathing heavily, Dr. Lee could see the fragility behind his eyes.

"Is it because your heart has been broken into pieces that you are afraid to start again?"

Ayumi fell silent, in her heart she admitted it was true. He had been abandoned many times by those he cared about and it was beginning to erode his confidence.

"I understand that" said Dr. Lee who now looked at Ayumi seriously, "But please believe me, I will not force you to love me but at least make friends with me. I will not force you with our relationship status, but at least give me a chance to get you to know me better. I won't force you to forget it, but at least give me the same chance to treat your heart... I'm not gonna ask you to give up your whole life but make me your place to lean on when you're tired, and I know you're very tired by now."

Ayumi was only speechless to hear the words of the man with the sharp eyes, her heart was slightly shaken, her throat was choked when she thought about how tired she was with all the problems that befell her in a row, but a moment later he laughed when he heard Dr. Lee sang the song that had accompanied him with a loud voice.

"When you feel so tried but can't sleep. I will try fix you... Well yeah! Why are you laughing?"

"Senior forgive me but you'll kill your patients with your voice."

"Well, you need to know that I was offered several agencies to become a member of a boyband."

Ayumi laughed out loud imagining the man with the face of a vampire and having a voice like a wolf in pain it had to dance and sing.

Dr. Lee widened his eyes in disbelief hearing Ayumi dare to mock him, but he was happy because finally he could see the girl laughing.

"Wow.. You dare insult me!"

Ayumi shook her head while holding back her laughter, which made the Doctor snort a laugh.

Set in the twilight sky of the aging city of Busan they both laughed, ending the day with a new leaf for both of them as the girl slowly began to open up and decided to rearrange her broken heart into pieces.

Unwittingly the two realized that a pair of cold eyes were staring at them, his heart was again hurt when he realized someone had managed to make the girl he loved laugh, and for the umpteenth time he was late...too late to keep his love.
