The sun was still shining brightly when Ayumi stood on the edge of the fence of the roof wall of the Hospital, today the ER is not as busy as usual so the doctors guard can rest a little. His eyes stared at Haeundae beach where rows of red umbrellas where beachgoers sat enjoying the view without having to be exposed to direct sunlight. Her hair, now brown, was created by Kevin's gift experts in horseback, allowing the spring breeze to caress the neck of her jaws, his ears as usual were adorned by white earphones that chanted Glenn Lewis's melodious voice, his hands clutching an empty bottle of wine-flavored yogurt.

“I asked for an answer not a question."
“Why should I answer you when you can't answer the same question.”
“Iris..”.
“Don't call me that name again.” Ayumi looked at Erik earnestly, “For me... Iris, who was dead when you left me first and decided to get engaged to another woman, now standing in front of you is Ayumi Maheswara, an ordinary girl who works as a doctor, and she has had a lover of a surgeon.” Ayumi could see the pain in the sharp eyes of the man who was still filling her heart, but she should not be affected by the look of those eyes, she should be able to forget about it and move on with her life, isn't that what made her decide to date Dr. Lee, to be able to forget about it?

“But not with Soo Hyuk! I beg you not to be with him!”
“Why can't I?” The heavy and sharp voice shocked the two and made them turn their faces to stare at the approaching figure. His face hardened with anger, his eyes staring intently, piercing like a predator. Ayumi paled feeling a coldness that instantly crept on her spine up to her nape, but not with Erik, the man was undaunted by the look of intimidation, he stared intently back.
“Say, why can't he be with me?” the cold voice of Dr. Lee again sounded, “Do you think I'll leave him just like you did?”
Erik is surprised to find that the man before him has learned of the problem between himself and Ayumi. Could it be that the girl had told the man with the heavy voice all of it? No, Ayumi is not that kind of girl and for this time she will believe her.
Dr. Lee sneered at the question, and unfortunately he just shrugged as an answer that made Erik more curious.
“It doesn't matter where I find out about your history. But now answer my question... Why can't I?” Dr. Lee again asked with a little emphasis in his voice.
“We'd better go now," said Ayumi as she pulled Dr. Lee who was directly on the edge of the man violently until his hands turned red, even he did so without looking at the girl because his eyes were still focused on staring at Erik who was aghast to see Ayumi being treated as rude as that.
“Yeah!!! What are you doing?!” Erik growled while pushing the body of the man before him to fall backward, not accepting being treated like that with anger that had erupted he got up and then began to attack Erik, which made Ayumi scream in fear.
No one wants to budge in the fight, Ayumi can only shout, she tried to break up but Lee Soo Hyuk pushed her until she fell, her knees were injured because she currently uses a knee-length skirt, Erik who saw that back in wrath, he beat the surgeon mercilessly, but the man was not an easy opponent for him. He also had to feel some fatal blows that injured him.
Regardless of her own safety the girl lunges between the two, Dr. Lee had just raised his hand to hit Erik when Ayumi hugged him tightly.
“Stop! I beg you to stop!” she screamed with a voice trembling with fear. Lee Soo Hyuk was still trying to get rid of him, but all his strength hugged the man who was still filled with anger.
Erik was speechless to see Ayumi hugging the other man before him, as his anger evaporated leaving a whack of pain in his chest. He tried to regulate his breathing which was still hunting, then spit but not the saliva that came out but fresh red viscous blood, with the back of his hand he wiped his mouth and could feel the pain of the wound.
“You want to know why I forbid him to have contact with you?” with breath still panting and eyes still filled with fog of emotion he looked at Lee Soo Hyuk who was also trying to catch his breath.
“That's because.. you!” Erik took a deep breath before continuing his words, “Because I know who you really are. You who easily dump women just because of trivial problems, you who think women are just an item that you can throw away at any time and replace it with a new one, you don't even believe in the meaning of love, and you think I'd let the woman I love be with a man like that?”
Erik could see Ayumi gasping at his words, but he had to know the truth with what kind of man he was in contact with.
“And you think you're better than me?” Dr. Lee sneered at Erik's remark, “You even left him and when he was hurt, you were even engaged to another woman, and now you ask him to forgive you and come back to you?”
Erik looked at Ayumi who was still holding Lee Soo Hyuk's arm, holding him back so he didn't move, no matter who he was trying to protect. Whether he was doing it to protect her or to protect her lover, he could clearly see the look in his eyes that were now in great fear.
“My mistake is too big to be forgiven,” Erik replied while looking at Ayumi softly, “But obviously I would never touch her body and hurt her, as you have done.”
Lee Soo Hyuk was surprised to hear Erik say, he looked at the woman beside him and suddenly his eyes widened when he saw the wounds on his knees and hands.
“Ayumi..” Said Dr. Lee with a sorry tone and eyes.
“This is what I fear the most. You can never control your emotions, and trust me when you hurt them again,” Erik said as he walked away leaving them both.
Dr. Lee did not care about Erik's departure, his eyes were still looking for other wounds on Ayumi's body whose eyes could not be seen Erik's back, his heart ached to see the figure of the man walking slowly leaving him. Uncommanded his foot stepped about to chase after the man when he felt someone clutching his wrist, now his eyes turned to look at the figure who was watching him from earlier.
“I'm sorry I hurt you.” Ayumi could feel the earnestness and regret from the look in her eyes, and instantly her heart grew worried. All he could do at this moment was smile trying to calm the man before him.
“You look messy,” Ayumi grimaces at the wound on the handsome man's face, his usual neatly arranged clothes and hair now look messy. For now he needs to distract his mind and his mind from this problem, “Come, you need to be treated.” Ayumi pulls the man away from there, for the time being she will play a good lover and doctor, but in his heart he also wants to play the same role for the man who is now somewhere with his injuries.
