It's Takes Time

"Are they dating now? Did they become close and like each other?" cleo said as he looked at Clarissa who was now walking in the courtyard of the house.

"But why didn't Nathan drive Clarissa into the house? Is Clarissa ashamed of us because she ended up falling in love with Nathan? Ah that kid, there-there-is! Clarissa is naughty." Cleo grumbled again.

Cleo then called Clarissa.

"Clarissa!"

Clarissa who was walking heard the call from Cleo then started to approach her while she wore a sweet smile on her lips.

"Sister Cleo!" clarissa shouted as she approached towards him. He then hugged Cleo while laughing.

"You're so happy!"

"When am I not cheerful, brother? I've always been cheerful, haven't I been such a handsome boy?" sahut Clarissa then carried Shane.

"Then what's your relationship with Nathan? He's being nice to you, isn't he?"

Hearing the name Nathan called, Clarissa was wrong.

"Why Clarissa? Why do you look nervous? Has something happened to you guys? Are you starting to like it?"

Hearing Cleo's question, Clarissa simply smiled. "Clarissa, listen to me. Nathan is a very nice guy, he's willing to do anything for the woman he loves. He used to do anything to make me happy, unfortunately I could never fall in love with him. If Nathan's in love with you right now, you're a very lucky woman, Clarissa. You can't waste a man like Nathan."

Clarissa smiled at Cleo's words. "Why are you smiling? You're also starting to fall in love with her, right? Haha."

"Sister Cleo, don't tease me."

"You can't lie to me, Clarissa. Do you think I don't know what the two of you did in the car?"

Clarissa was embarrassed to hear Cleo's words. "Sister Cleo!" clarissa Shouts.

"Haha, hahaha. Clarissa, just tell Papa Rayhan and Mama Amanda they'll agree to your relationship."

"Sister Cleo understood, I'm not ready yet. I'm ashamed, Brother, especially for Kenzo, I need time. I don't want to get married either, I want to finish my college first, if they know I'm dating Nathan's sister, they'll definitely get us married as soon as possible. Especially Nathan's parents, so I'm asking you to help keep this from everyone first."

"Are you sure that if you put off all this and keep your relationship a secret, it won't have any consequences later on, Clarissa? Can't you learn from my relationship with Kenzo? If you don't want to lose Nathan, you better talk about your relationship with both of your parents."

Clarissa took a breath and exhaled it. "I'll think again" replied Clarissa.

Nathan stopped his car in a three-story mansion with a large courtyard and overgrown with various colorful plants and flowers, he got out of the car and walked to a woman sitting on a bench in the yard drinking chamomile tea. The woman also welcomed Nathan's arrival while sharing her sweet smile.

"Nathan, are you home, baby? Mama miss you so much?" said the woman.

"Yes Ma, I miss my mom too."

"How are you, dear Nathan?"

"I'm fine Ma, Mama see for yourself right?"

"Yes, you even look very cheerful, much more cheerful than before. Did something happen to you, Nathan?"

"Maybe," Nathan replied with a smile.

"Maybe? Are you in love again?"

"Maybe it's like that, Ma."

"You really confused Mama, Nathan. Actually your father was intending to match you up with a woman, but it looks like you've fallen for another woman."

"stupid? So old-fashioned, you think I can't get a woman? Mama I could easily do that if I wanted to. You don't have to go to great lengths to match me" Nathan grumbled.

"Alright then, it looks like you already have your own choice. Papa and Mama are going to match you up with Rayhan and Amanda's daughter."

"WHATAAA?"

"It's okay, Ma, who are you planning to marry Papa and Mama?"

"Emh, I don't know. Amanda has two daughters, the first is only a foster daughter but they already consider her like her real daughter, her name is Sharen and their youngest daughter is named Clarissa."

Hearing Clarissa's name, Nathan smiled.

"Why are you smiling, Nathan? Do you know any of them?"

"Oh.. That, yeah. I've known Sharen for a few years since I met Cleo, when we were about to fly to London and we met in waiting room."

"Oh, then are you interested in Sharen?"

"Hahahaha, not at all Ma. He's a tomboy and totally unlocked my type."

Hearing Nathan's reply, Calista was slightly surprised. 'Why does he seem to be uninterested when I say Sharen?' calista Mumbles.

"Oh, then what about Clarissa? Do you know him?" calista asked again while observing the change in Nathan's face. Hearing Clarissa's name, Nathan smiled.

"Nathan, why are you quiet? Do you know Clarissa?"

"Yes, I know him too. She's a very nice girl" Nathan replied with a smile. Calista was even more confused to see Nathan's behavior and the look of a cheerful face on his face when he heard the name Clarissa called.

'What really happened to my son? Wasn't he in that apartment with Sharen but why was it that when I mentioned Sharen's name he was acting so ordinary, unlike when I mentioned Clarissa's name? This is really strange, ' murmured Calista.

Nathan's phone rang. Nathan then picks up his phone and sees Clarissa's name on his phone screen.

"Mama, I'll pick up the phone first."

"Yes." Yeah."

Nathan then walked away from Calista.

"Hello Clarissa baby, I'm home."

Despite her gibberish, Calista overhears Nathan's conversation as he walks away from her.

"Clarissa? Darling?" calista said while frowning.

"It's all really confusing?" grumbled Calista while twitching his forehead. After a while, Nathan came back to him.

"Who called you? Seems very important? Is she your boyfriend?"

Nathan was smiling.

"Clarissa?" calista asked a little hesitantly while saying a name that made Nathan smile again.

"Clarissa Kenzo's sister? You like Clarissa?"

"Why did Mama mention that name?"

"Did you forget I was your mother? You can't lie to Mama, son."

Nathan smiled again.

"Well, if you haven't said all that to Mama, maybe you need some time. But Nathan, there's actually something Mama wants to tell you."

"Tell me?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"About what?"

"Next month Vansh came home, he decided to go back to Indonesia and settle here."

"Vansh's?"
