Vansh then picked up the phone call.
[Hello to Abimana.]
[Hello, Vansh. Are you busy now?]
[No Om, I'm just having a little business with my friend. What's wrong?]
[Emh.., Vansh can you come to our house now? Inara's extended family came today, and soon they'll be here.]
[Oh of course, Om. Soon I come to Om Abimana's house, just send me the address.]
[Okay Vansh, thank you very much.]
[Yes Om, equally.] Vansh replied then hung up on the phone call.
"Do you have to go now?" maya asked when she saw Vansh put her phone in her pocket.
"Yes, someone is in need of my help. I have to go to his house now."
"Is helping others your hobby?"
"Hobby?" asked Vansh while frowning.
"Yes, ever since I saw you you seem to be always helping others, including those requested by Mr. Leo and Mrs Calista right?"
"Why should I mind if I can make other people happy? You're done eating, right? Let's take you home now!" vansh's orders to Maya.
Maya then nodded her head. They got up from their seats and walked out of the cafe and entered Vansh's car.
"Mr Vansh, may I ask you something?" maya said she ventured while they were on their way to Maya's house.
"What?"
"Why was this morning, you were suddenly near my house? Are you going to scold me for what I said last night to you? Sorry if I was sassy on you. Actually I accidentally said like that, it's just that I see a sad look on your face that looks like you are losing someone," Maya said with a grimace.
"Yes, you're really mean to me! We don't know each other yet but you've dared to say that to me!"
"God, so right this morning you actually intend to scold me? Once again forgive me Mr. Vansh," Maya said grimacingly.
Vansh smiled wryly. "So I should have been thankful this morning I was surrounded by thugs" Maya grumbled as she bit her lips.
"Thankful?"
"Yes, because if there's no thug then you've been scolding me, haven't you?"
"Is that how bad I am in your eyes?" ask Vansh who makes Maya even more nervous.
"Oh... O. oh of course not sir. Didn't I just say that you are a kind and helpful person. So your arrival meant not to scold me, right?" maya asked as she knitted her brows and looked at Vansh with a question mark. Vansh shook his head.
"I want to return this, it's yours, right?" asked Vansh while giving her a necklace with a heart. Seeing the pendant in Vansh's hand, Maya's countenance changed. He then took the pendant and placed the pendant on his chest.
"Thank God! I thought this locket was gone!" scream Maya.
"Is that locket worth a lot to you?" asked Vansh who only answered a nod of the head by Maya.
"Is that your lover's gift?" ask Vansh again. Hearing Vansh's words, Maya laughs.
"Sir could have been, I have never dated Sir," said Maya.
"fast."
"Why don't you ask why this locket is so valuable to me?"
"It doesn't matter!"
"Well then I'll tell you myself."
"No, you're really sassy! See we're here, hurry back home and rest!"
"Thank you very much, sir."
"Yes." Yeah."
Maya smiles at Vansh and turns her body to open the car door. But suddenly Maya turned her body back.
"What's wrong?" ask Vansh.
"Master, may I ask for your mobile number?"
"For what? Do you want to approach me?"
"Good Lord, I know who I am and who you are! I just want to call you to return your jacket if I've cleaned it up."
"Give me your phone!" vansh's orders. Maya then gives Vansh her phone.
"This is my phone number" Vansh said, giving Maya's phone back.
"Thank you, sir, thank you very much. May your kindness be reciprocated by God."
Vansh nodded her head so flat. After Maya gets out of her car, she then looks at Maya who is walking in a narrow alley towards her home.
'That locket, I'm no stranger to that locket either. It seems like I've seen the locket before, but where?' muttered Vansh while frowning.
While Maya walks while smiling as she stares at the pendant in her hand. 'My knights, I thought you were gone, but I was still given the chance to have you, even if it was just a pendant but it felt like I had you, my knight. A knight of the past that I could never have.'
