Give me your Hand

Isakan was again heard on the end of the phone connection that made Maya filled with question marks.

[Tante, why is Aunt crying? What happened to Queen? Can I talk to the Queen? We have not seen each other for a long time.]

[Maya, Queen.., Queen passed away a year ago from cancer.] A voice on the other end of the line made Maya feel so shocked.

[Innalilahi, I am sorry, Aunt.]

[Yes, thank you very much. Maya, can I meet you? There's something you want to talk about, if you're willing to see me, I'll give you my address.]

[Yes Aunty, but I don't promise that tomorrow I can come to Aunt's house, maybe the day after tomorrow or on another occasion because frankly I was sick, I had a little misfortune this afternoon.]

[Oh it's okay May, you can come whenever you want.]

[Yes Aunty,]

[Once again please forgive Queen.]

[Yes Aunty is okay.]

[Thank you very much Maya.]

[Yes Aunt.] Maya then hangs up. Without her noticing, tears fell down her face as she hung up the phone.

'Queen, it's been twelve years we've never met, and now I hear you're gone. Queen, whatever happened between us, I never considered you an enemy. I love you as a friend, Maya muttered.

He then looked at the pendant he had in his hand. 'Lord, why must the wounds of the past be reopened? What destiny will I live next? Do I have to meet my past after a dozen years of living with memories that I keep myself?' maya Gumam.

He then placed the pendant on his chest. "My knight, are you still alive after that? Do I have to get out of past trauma and look for you to return this locket to you? Why am I so cowardly? Why did I just do this after hearing that Queen was gone? No, I'm not looking for you. There are so many possibilities, and I certainly wouldn't be able to accept the fact that it's the worst possibility that happened to you after the day."

Maya then wiped her tears. "Better, I made a cake for the Cold Lord so he wouldn't underestimate me. I don't want to open up my past anymore, because to me you're just a memory, and let me live together with your memories, my Knight."

...***...

Vansh and Sharen walked together towards the dining table. Seen at the dining table, their relatives had gathered and were waiting for their arrival to join the table. When Vansh and Maya sit at the dinner table, some of them immediately tease Vansh and Sharen.

"New bride, what exactly are you doing in the room? Why are you guys taking so long?" seduced by a middle-aged woman who was sitting not far from Inara's chair.

"Tante, Sharen had just taken a shower, so I waited for Sharen to finish taking a shower."

"Say you bathe, Sharen!" the other person who made everyone at the table laugh except Inara and Abimana who looked at each other. Sharen looked at Vansh with a bitter smile. "It's okay" whispered Vansh.

They then continued to eat dinner accompanied by jokes that led a lot to Vansh and Sharen who made both now increasingly look wrong behavior. After dinner, when Sharen and Vansh are about to return to their room, one of them stops him.

"Why are you in such a hurry, Vansh, are you looking forward to touching your wife again? Didn't you do that before dinner? Look, your hair is still wet and you can't wait to do that again? You are," said one of the Inara family. Vansh and Sharen looked at each other and a small smile now adorned their lips.

"You better talk to us here first. We want to get to know you too, Vansh. We heard you were Kenan's son?"

"Unbelievably, I really didn't expect that our family would be able to get along with one of the richest people in the country. Hahahaha," said the woman, laughing with a happy face and making all the family in the room look at Vansh and Sharen.

"You're really lucky Sharen" said another.

"Let's sit with us first!" their orders that made Vansh and Sharen powerless refused. They sat on the sofa in the room.

"Sharen, don't go too far. Closer, they can be suspicious if your movements are like that!" whisky Vansh. Sharen moved closer to Vansh's side.

"Why are you so stiff? Just relax if you want to sit down and make fun!"

"No Auntie, we're used to this."

"You really suck, Sharen!" grumbled the middle-aged woman. Sharen and Vansh looked at each other with a smile. While Abimana and Inara can only look at each other while holding back such mixed feelings.

"Well, we've really been troubling Vansh."

"Yes Inara, I feel sorry that Vansh has to go through all this drama. I don't think your brother's so chatty, Inara. They always tease Vansh and Sharen."

"That's what makes me feel awkward because it's been so troublesome for Vansh."

"Me too, but luckily Vansh's a grown man who understands all that."

"Yes, he's very mature."

"Look at that, look at Inara" Abimana said as she looked at Sharen, who was now sticking her head over Vansh's shoulder. Inara was surprised to see it.

"Your brother's behavior is really troublesome!" grunts Abimana. While Sharen who is now leaning on Vansh's shoulder seems to be whispering something.

"Sir Vansh we can't linger like this, make excuses so we can go back to the room."

"We'll wait a minute, Sharen, don't you know they'll tempt us even more if we go straight into the room."

"But I'm nervous, brother. I'm not used to making out with a guy, do you know, my whole body feels like it's shaking and my hands are so cold."

"Cold?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Give me your hand, let me warm it up."
