That Woman

"What's Vansh?" reni asked as he looked at the pensive Vansh while staring at a box of cake from Maya. But Vansh remained silent and looked busy with her daydream.

Reni then patted Vansh on the shoulder. "Vansh, do you remember that cake?"

"What does Mama mean?"

"Let's eat that cake Vansh!"

Heard Reni's words. Vansh smiled too. "Mama, I actually ate the cake when I first came to this house, when Mama was away with one of Queen's friends to the tomb."

"Oh, so have you eaten that Vansh cake?"

"Yes Ma, I ate the cake."

"Then how? Did you feel anything?"

"What does Mama mean?"

"Vansh, didn't you tell me that there used to be a woman who fell in love with you and always gave you a chocolate cake?"

"Yes, what does that have to do with chocolate cake?"

Reni nodded her head. "Yes Vansh, the woman who brought the chocolate cake was the woman who used to always give you chocolate cake, she was a friend of Queen, they used to go to the same elementary school," reni replied while looking at Vansh with a pushy look.

"Be... Really Ma? Ja's... So the woman who gave me this chocolate cake that used to like me?"

"Not just then but maybe until now, he also seems to still hold feelings of love that are so great for you Vansh," said Reni with trembling lips. Vansh then looked at Reni who was now wiping away the tears on her cheeks. The look of a disappointed face was so clearly drawn on his face.

"Mama really felt so guilty about him. It must not be easy for him to go through all this. A dozen years he lived with the pain of Queen's actions, he endured the pain of no edges while Queen, living so happily with the love and affection so great from you, he said, Vansh's. Mama feels so guilty about him!"

Reni also sobbed, while Vansh could only stay still while holding back her raging feelings. Thoughts are dancing in his mind.

'Queen, I think losing you for ever is the most painful thing I've ever felt in this world, but it's not that, it's not that, it's the lies you've been doing to me. I'm very disappointed in you, Queen. I'm so disappointed in you why did you do that?' mumbling Vansh.

"Mama, it's Ma. Don't regret all this. It's long gone, Ma. Actually I feel very disappointed in Queen, but for now Queen is dead. Instead, we should not talk about the ugliness of the dead, ", said Vansh, holding Reni's hand.

"So you're gonna forgive Queen?" asked Reni, who was only answered with a smile by Vansh, until she slowly nodded her head even though she was full of doubt.

"Thank you very much, Vansh. Mama knows this is definitely not an easy thing for you, your relationship with Queen is not a short time and you have to get reality like this. I'm sure your heart must be very broken, isn't it Vansh?"

"Mama, stop. I already know about all the truths the Queen has been covering up, this is enough for me. This past month, my life has been full of mystery. Big question marks are always present in my mind. And now, that big question mark has been answered, that's enough for me Ma."

"Mom knows you must be devastated. Aye right? The look on your face is so implying that for now you really feel very crushed."

"Mama..."

"Vansh, actually Mama called you to come to this house not just to tell me about the secret, but there's something else Mama wants to talk to you about."

"Another thing?" asked Vansh while frowning.

"Yes, don't you want to know who the woman who always sends you that chocolate cake?"

Vansh was pensive, his heartbeat now felt so tight. 'I didn't expect that I had been loved by a woman so sincerely. I'm really stupid! Why after the accident I never asked about everything that ever happened to my friends or Daddy and Mommy. After the accident, it was like I was living in the shadow of Queen, I thought Queen often restricted me from doing everything I could to remember all my past but it turned out that she was doing all of it for her own personal gain. Oh Queen, I really didn't expect that if you could do that to me, then who exactly is that woman?' muttered Vansh while smiling bitterly.

"Oh, yes ma. What's up?"

"Vansh, mama knows you're in your heart you must be wondering about that woman right! You must want to know that woman, don't you, Vansh?"

"Do I know him, Ma?"

"Let's see, mama doesn't know you know her or not. The woman has a pretty face, her name is Maya," said Reni, who makes Vansh's heart seem to stop beating hearing the name called.

"Ma.. Maya?" vansh said softly with trembling lips and a stammering voice.

"Yes Vansh's name is Maya, do you know her?"

"I know someone named Maya, but I don't know the Maya I know is the same as you mean it or not."

"So soon, I have a picture of Vansh."

Reni then took her phone and showed an oval-faced woman with a shoulder-length haircut and a bang.

"Geez!" squeak Vansh.

"Do you know him Vansh?"

Vansh was just pensive and rubbed his face violently. "Do you know him, Vansh?" ask Reni back.

"Yes Ma, I've had a few days to deal with him because a few days ago he had a feud with my cousin, Nathan."

"Ja.. So, you know Maya?"

Vansh nodded her head. "Yes, I already know Maya."

Reni then clasped Vansh's hand. "Vansh, I'd better meet him, meet Maya, please" Reni said. However, Vansh was silent.

"Come, Ma. I'll think again" replied Vansh.

"It's up to you, try asking your heart. You can't live with your past forever, Vansh. Especially the past that has hurt you."

Vansh smiled again. "Thank you very much, Ma. I'll go home first" said Vansh. Reni nodded her head. Vansh then moved from her seat.

"Again, thank you very much, Ma."

"Yes Vansh, be careful on the road."

Vansh then nodded, he then turned his body and walked towards his car with such an erratic feeling. Reni appears to have taken her phone to call someone.

'May?' mumbling Vansh.

'Should I meet the woman and speak to her from heart to heart? But for what? I'm not sure about my own feelings either because even though Queen has let me down, that doesn't mean I can easily love the others and forget Queen just like that,' muttered Vansh while pensively in his car.

At that moment, Vansh's phone rang.
