Some of Zack's men approached Olivia. "What are you guys gonna do? What are you gonna do to me, Zack? Anyway I'm still your mother-in-law you have to respect me, Zack!"

"Mama Olivia didn't I just say, I just wanted to meet my wife. Am I wrong if I want to meet my wife?"

"Wrong! And I won't allow it to be at any time because you made my daughter like that! You don't even deserve to meet her!"

Olivia could only scream while cursing, she was forced to drag her feet following the forced steps of Zack's men.

"Awas you Zack, beware that you dare mess with my daughter again! I won't let you live quietly and I'll report your illegal business to the police!" scream Olivia.

Hearing Olivia's threat, Zack just smiled bitterly. "Police? Am I afraid of the police? A few of them live off my money" Zack said.

He then approached Laurie, then sat down beside the gurney. Zack looked at that beautiful face, a beautiful face that was now filled with hoses stuck to his body. A beautiful face that now looks pale and helpless.

Zack then played his fingers on his face and stroked his black hair. "Beautiful, dear" said Zack, smiling wryly.

"My wife Laurie, I'm sorry. I never really meant to make you like this. Don't you know, I love you so much. Even during our marriage, I have never touched your body, it is because I love you so much. I always waited for that moment, when you gave me your soul and body. But why didn't you ever give me a chance to get into your life? You never gave me a chance to take your heart from that man, your ex-lover who is now a carcass underground. Dear Laurie, maybe the way I approached you was wrong. I've forced your parents with such a cruel threat to marry us both. However, that's all I can do to get you."

Zack closed his eyes, then exhaled a breath that felt so heavy and stifled his chest.

"Laurie, why don't you ever give me a chance? Was my mistake in killing your ex-lover such a big mistake in your eyes? Isn't that just an embodiment of my love for you so that you don't turn to her again. Is that wrong? Laurie, baby, you're mine. Since we first met and I fell in love with you you are mine. She then stroked laurie's hair back. "Laurie, look your hair is so tangled. I've brought you a comb, Laurie. Let me comb your hair, yes" said Zack.

He then took out the comb that was in his suit pocket, then slowly combed through the black hair. "Dear, now your hair is much tidier" said Zack. He then clasped Laurie's hand.

"Laurie, look at the nails on your fingers are not neat. Sorry if I forgot to bring you nail clippers. Tomorrow if I see you again, I'll bring you some nail clippers. Honey, I know you always take care of your nails and hair at the salon, right? You take it easy, despite your condition like this, I won't let your hair and nails break. Laurie, honey, let's get up. Just as Zack finished his sentence, suddenly the door of the treatment opened.
