Fight Together

Vansh then drove his car to the address given by Abimana. Half an hour later, Vansh arrived at the intended address. He stopped his car in the yard. Seen in the yard of the car there are already many cars that meet the yard of Abimana's house.

'It turns out there are already many families of them who come, ' murmured Vansh while walking towards the door of the house. As Vansh stood in the doorway, everyone inside the house stared at him. Inara approached Vansh.

"Vansh, I'm sorry. Can we start this charade?" inara whisper.

"Yes Aunt" replied Vansh. Inara nodded as well.

"Declose, this is my son-in-law. Vansh, name!" inara said to everyone in the room. Vansh smiled and approached them and greeted them one by one. While Sharen can only look at Vansh while smiling wryly.

'I'm sorry Vansh, ' Sharen murmured, until Sharen's daydream was up when someone patted him on the shoulder.

"Sharen, you're so lucky to have a husband like Vansh. He is very handsome and very polite" said one of Inara's brothers who was followed by another.

"Yes" Sharen replied briefly. After greeting and getting acquainted with everyone in the house, Vansh sat down next to Sharen.

"I'm sorry I troubled you, Brother Vansh."

"It's okay, Sharen."

"Hi, why are you so stiff? Vansh, Sharen, you're married, you're newlyweds. No need to hide your affection in front of us" said one of the relatives.

"True, Vansh hugged your wife. Or kiss her forehead!" tell one more.

Vansh and Sharen looked at each other. "No, we're embarrassed" Sharen replied.

"Why should I be ashamed? You guys married?" timpal them.

Vansh and Sharen looked at each other again. "What, Brother Vansh?"

"I'm sorry to you, Sharen. But I think I should touch you. Would you allow me to touch you?"

Sharen smiled bitterly. "Yes" he answered softly. Meanwhile, Abimana and Inara looked at each other.

"How is this?" whispered Inara while reverberating the tip of her hijab. Abimana shook his head. But suddenly Vansh looked closer to Sharen's face, then kissed her forehead which made Inara so surprised. He then covered his mouth with his hands and looked at Abimana with a question mark filled gaze.

"Leave it, Inara. They are adults, they must have talked about what they will do" Abimana said. Inara nodded her head.

Sharen is now seen holding Vansh's hand, albeit awkwardly.

"I'm sorry, sorry to bother you and get you stuck in this game" Sharen said as they were in the room.

It's okay, I've made this decision. I was prepared for all the consequences, including pretending to have fun with you. I'm the one who should be apologizing for holding your body."

"It's okay, Brother Vansh. I can understand that."

"Yes, once again I'm sorry, I was forced to do all that because I knew there was still Nathan in your heart, right?"

Hearing Vansh's words, Sharen also revealed a smile with a sad face. "The events of last night made me feel so lost, lost a hope I had long harbored. Funny thing is I feel so lost, even though I don't have any rights on him. I should have realized, my coming was only to love her not to fight against fate by imposing my will to have her."

"Sharen, do you know? We are in the same situation, both struggling to forget the past. Strive to stop hanging on to expectations that can only bring disappointment. Stop being the cause of that disappointment, Sharen. I'm sure you'll find your home by the end of the journey you've been on. Fight to find that house and fight your way out of the snare of the past."

"Thank you very much, Brother Vansh."

"Together, Sharen."

"From today on, we're friends, right? Fight together to strengthen each other."

"Yes, of course we are friends, friends who encourage each other. Brother Vansh, it's afternoon. You better clean your body first, Aunt Calista's driver has brought some of your things. I tidied it up in that little closet, you can take your clothes there."

"Yes Sharen, thank you very much."

Vansh took his clothes and went into the bathroom. As Vansh enters the bathroom, Vansh's phone rings. Sharen then took the phone.

"Nameless number?" sharen said when he saw an anonymous number on Vansh's phone screen.

"Who knows it's important, I'd better pick it up" Sharen said. He then raised the call.

[Hello.] replied Sharen.

'Women's voice?' muttered one of the people on the other end of the phone.
