Eleven o'clock local time...

Jackson took me out of the office. But not for dating, but to meet Oliver at his company. He did not drive his own car, but told me to drive it. It seems like he wants to prank me today.

As a subordinate of course I have to obey the superior. As a woman, I have limits on patience. For now I can be patient with him. I don't know if later. I may no longer be able to hold back the resentment in my heart.

I don't know what's behind Jackson's warmth to me. Either it's just ambition because I don't want to be taken by Hadden or he has a genuine feeling for me. However, if I remember Hadden's words at that time, I became pessimistic about the certainty of this relationship. "A long time, yeah. Do you not have a reliable administrative team so that the process can be more accelerated?" jackson asked as if he was degrading Oliver's team.

I'll admit that Jackson doesn't have to talk to his opponent much. He simply said the necessary things that could stab his opponent's heart. I saw Oliver as hurt by Jackson's question. I don't know what's on his mind, but it looks from his body gesture Oliver tried to cover up his fear.

"I've deployed the entire administrative staff to speed up the acquisition process, sir. We've worked as hard as we can." Oliver defended the good name of himself and his team.

Jackson picked up the prepared nuts on the table. "Hm, okay. But maybe I'll field my guy directly to help with the process. Do you mind?" ask Jackson frankly.

Oliver swallowed his saliva. He knew that until Jackson dropped his men in the acquisition process, he would not be able to act. Oliver knows exactly how Jackson works. The atmosphere of fear from him was so strong I felt. It was like trying to hide his cooperation with Hadden. But Jackson immediately broke his trickery by wanting to field his man directly.

Mr. Oliver, I don't know how Jackson's in business if he doesn't come here. But thank you for showing me how dangerous this man is.

Their conversation continued until they met an agreement. Jackson manages to urge Oliver to give him permission to bring people down to help with the acquisition. I don't know what next step Jackson will take, which obviously today's meeting has succeeded in making Oliver scared. Oliver must rethink if he wants to betray Jackson.

In addition to money, the brain must also think carefully before smooth out a strategy to win. Like I said, confronting a criminal must behave like a criminal. So even facing a traitor, must behave like a traitor. And this afternoon Jackson had managed to make Oliver fret with his pretense tactics. Jackson pretends not to know if Oliver is teaming up with Hadden to do him harm. Like Oliver who pretends nothing happened.

This meeting finally resulted in a tough deal for Oliver to accept. But, inevitably, he had to accept it. Jackson has already given cash to Angkasa Group which makes itself the largest shareholder in the company. He is a wonderful man, Jackson Baldev.
