"Thank you for coming. We're gonna start today's meeting."

Jackson started the meeting. In this 7x3 meter room he became the leader of the Angkasa Group submission meeting. Some shareholders sat around the round table and others circled it. All eyes were on Jackson. Jackson showed himself in front of the shareholders, no matter who he was, including me.

"I think everything is acceptable, sir." One of the shareholders said.

"How about the others?" jackson asked, with both hands propping his body up on the table.

"We agree." The others also answered.

The meeting continued until a mutual agreement was reached. Jackson also explained his work program for Angkasa Group for the next year. Which most of the profits will be handed over to the Ocean Kingdom. And of course the nominal is not small. Jackson will become the richest man and beat his business rival, Hadden. But, what about me?

He looks disinclined to me. "Sorry, did something happen between you?" Aurel suddenly asked me that.

I was silent for a moment, then quickly closed this safe. "We're doing fine. What's wrong?" many cover.

Suddenly my heart broke into pieces. I didn't expect to hear this news. It really hurts.

Looks like they're back and Jackson doesn't need me anymore. Maybe it's good if I'm really gone.

"Cecilia, are you okay?" Aurel approached me. He seems attentive to me.

I pretended to smile in front of him. "I'm doing fine. Don't worry," I said, covering up.

Aurel nodded. He seems to understand. "alright. Then excuse me, Cecilia." Aurel said goodbye to me.

"Yes." Yeah." I let him go.

Aurel's departure of course left a deep wound for me. Whether intentionally or not, he told me that. But honestly my heart hurts a lot. As if I had no more price. And it would be foolish to continue to expect it. I need to find my own happiness.
