The Reunion (Eighty Five)

            After finishing fitting the wedding dress for Summer, the two decide to have lunch together at a restaurant that Summer recommends because the woman says they will never be disappointed by the taste Bentley Restaurant has to offer. Restaurants located on O’Connell road

this is where Summer first met Max while they were having a work agreement with some big brands in Australia. This afternoon they will have lunch with Sarah Brook and Andrew, because only two people have free time for lunch with Eden and Summer.

            “Do you know if this place is a very important place for me and Max?”

            “Really? Let me guess, you first met Max here, am I right?” ask Eden enthusiastically about Summer. Summer nodded her head twice, looking a little unfocused as Summer had just gotten a message from Andrew and she was reading it right now.

            “Sorry Ed, there's an incoming message. So what do you want to order?” ask Summer when they are already inside the restaurant and ready to order. A maid approached them with a menu book in hand that she wanted to give Eden, but it was immediately prevented by Summer when the woman offered to order her favorite menu at the restaurant.

            “Burger extra cheese two and two lemonades, as well as extra fries.” Summer message on a waiter who looks very friendly on them. The waiter named Kate was unceasingly giving a smile to Eden and Summer.

            “Alright, your order will be ready in twenty minutes.”

            After the waiter leaves, Summer opens her phone again to see the reply message her sister just sent. “It looks like Sarah and Andrew have come.” scap Summer while waving her hands at two human people who have accidentally come to Bentley Restaurant simultaneously.

            “Hai Ed, long time no see.” greet Sarah excited while hugging the body of Eden tightly. The two seemed very happy because after many years they did not meet, now they are reunited in the City of Sydney.

            “Sarah, you look so beautiful. You look more mature now.” praise Eden on Sarah with a face of amazement. He did not expect that Sarah would really turn into a graceful woman like this. Sarah used to be a simple woman and far from glamour. His life is all-starved makes Sarah can not buy branded goods like most of her friends. But now Sarah looks very awesome with a skirt and shirt suit typical of office women and also a Chanel-branded bag that is currently hanging beautifully on her shoulders. And do not forget, shoes with five centi heels Louboutin output that fits perfectly with his feet. Sarah has changed. And Eden also feels happy if one of his friends has now been successful and lived well like Sarah.

            “Hi newlyweds, where's Max?” tease Sarah on Summer. The bride-to-be looked upset at Sarah, because again she had to be reminded of Max. After they finished prewedding photoshoots, Max went straight to the office because he still had important meetings with his clients and also some office tasks that he had not yet completed. Their wedding day is just a few days away. So during this week Max had to give up his break for overtime so he could have a quiet honeymoon. But Summer still felt annoyed by Max's attitude which he considered busy. Though according to Summer, Max can leave the tasks to his subordinates. But back again, a superior can not give all his work to his subordinates or secretary. If it could happen, Eden would ask for the same thing.

            “Max is working. Lately he has been acting pretty busy.” grumbled Summer annoyed while gulping her lemonade brutally. Eden and Sarah could only laugh out loud at Summer's childish behavior.

            “Already. Didn't Max explain to you that he had to finish all his duties before your wedding day. So be patient and never complain.” said Eden advised. Summer pursed her lips back to Eden because her best friend did not defend her at all.

            “Ed, how about your wedding? Aren't you married to a businessman who used to be talked about by people all over Vegas?” and Sarah asked Eden. After he successfully teased Summer, now Sarah actually turned to tease Eden. But Eden did not respond to Sarah's temptation as Summer did to Sarah's. Eden looks more relaxed and calm when answering questions from Sarah.

            “Yes, I am indeed married to the crown prince of the Lutherford family. And now we have two children.”

            “Really? Congratulations to you and also the crown prince of the Lutherford clan.” praise Sarah for whatever purpose, because her comments just now sound unclear.

            “Yeah, that's it. And I just gave birth to our second child four months ago.” continued Eden responded to Sarah's remarks. Again the woman was astonished by the household life that Eden had. It feels that since college until now Eden has always been lucky and never been hit by such unlucky fate. Well, at least that's what Sarah knows because Sarah was never really close to Eden.

            “Then, where is your baby now? Is he at home with Aciel?”

            This time Andrew opened his voice to ask Eden after the man had been silent since then while watching the three women who told him a scene in front of him.

            “Louise and Ciara are now at home along with Aciel. Once in a while, Aciel had to stay home and look after our children. Because I myself feel tired with two children at once, and sometimes I just have to take care of three children.” complained Eden sounded tired.

            “Three kids? You mean Aciel?” ask Summer with a frown. Eden nodded her head definitely in response to Summer's question.

            “Sometimes Aciel is more childish than our two children. And that's enough to irritate me when it comes to dealing with his childish silly behavior.”

            “Didn't Aciel have been kids since. Which normal man would ruin his own adopted son, even to the point of marrying him. If it was not childish and blinded by his jealousy, it would definitely not be like that.”

            Eden felt that what Andrew had said had exceeded the limit. The man blatantly had already ridiculed Aciel in front of his friends. Even Sarah is now a little strange because actually she does not know anything about the history of her marriage or anything that set her up until now she ended up with Aciel. And unfortunately Andrew's words didn't stop there. He still continued the other words that managed to make Eden a little bit angry at the man.

            “He's an unexpected man because he hides behind his face that washed away his face. He always made me miserable with his possessiveness. And that man has also captured my target woman.”

            Suddenly the atmosphere between the four of them became quiet after Andrew accidentally let out his emotions on Aciel. Eden, who felt that the woman referred to by Andrew was himself, was only able to look at the table without daring to look at Andrew or others. She's ashamed. So embarrassed that he felt he had lost all his pride in front of Sarah.

            “It's okay. I think you're right, my husband is very possessive and childish.”

            Eden accidentally mentioned the word husband in place of Aciel because he wanted to clarify the status of Aciel to Andrew and also other friends. He did not want anything bad to happen to his household relationship with Aciel. He loved Aciel a long time ago. If she did not love her husband, then she would not have fallen on Aciel, who had incarnated many wounds in her heart.

            “Ed, are you okay? The hello... Ed.”

            Eden was shocked to hear Summer's loud scream next to her ear. Eden hastily gathered all of her consciousness that had disappeared because she was too cool to remember her strange past with Aciel.

            “I'm fine. Why are you screaming in my ear?”

            “You are why. Since then we have been telling stories and you seem to be daydreaming while smiling to yourself. What was? Are you thinking of something?” tanya Summer wanted to know. Eden shook his head a few times to cover up his stupidity. Why does he remember his bitter past with Aciel while he was with his friends?

            “She must be thinking about her husband. Ahh, you're really lucky Ed. I envy you.” Sarah comments with an exaggerated face, making Summer feel anxious at the young woman and want to snap her head right now.

            “Already, we better finish our lunch menu immediately because today I have to take care of the preparation of the hotel and catering.” said Andrew mediate their silly quarrel.

            “Yes God, I forgot. Ed, can you accompany Andrew to take care of the catering menu and the hotel preparations. Today I have to check my souvenir order at the souvenir shop near Max's office. Andrew will also take you home. Do you want to help me?” please Summer with a hopeful face. Eden was worried about rejecting Summer's request. But if he accepts, he is afraid that Aciel will think no-no if he finds out that it was Andrew who drove him home. But he also couldn't possibly refuse Summer's request. Finally with a heavy heart, Eden agrees to Summer's request and after that she chooses to finish her meal so that she can immediately go finish Summer's wedding business as she wants to return home soon to meet her children and also Aciel.

            “Hopefully there is nothing bad after this.” Inner Eden expectantly.

            Aciel looked very bored when he had to accompany Ciara playing in the family room. In front of her, Louise seemed to be sleeping peacefully after she had cried because her diaper was wet. It was an experience that would never be forgotten for Aciel Lutherford. He has never changed Louise's diaper. Usually he only observes Eden from afar when his wife is changing Louise's diaper.             “Daddy, hungry.” said Ciara started whining. Aciel grabbed a packet of biscuits that he placed on the table. Then he gave the biscuits to Ciara and told the little girl to eat them.

            “What else is it?” ask Aciel impatiently. Though only this time he kept Ciara and Louise alone at home for a long time, but his attitude was already very impatient like that. What about Eden? Hasn't his wife ever complained about him? Really, Aciel

after this should always be kind to Eden and respect his wife.

            “Susu. Ciara haus.” whine girl is cute with two pieces of biscuits in her right and left hand. Lazily, Aciel stood up to make Ciara a glass of milk in the kitchen. But before he stood up, Aciel told Ciara to keep Louise for a while while her father was making milk.

            “Darling, please take care of Louise for a moment. Don't nosy Louise as long as daddy makes you milk. Do you understand?”

            Ciara nodded her head twice while looking at her daddy with an angelic plain face. It was like Aciel kissed the chubby cheek and pinched it because he was too anxious with his little girl. But he didn't want to take the risk if Ciara cried and then the little girl would wake Louise up. Nah!

Aciel prefers her son to fall asleep rather than fly and Aciel has to hold Louise all day. Aciel doesn't want to!

            Aciel walked into the living room with a glass of vanilla milk in her right hand. He walked quickly to give milk to Ciara, because he had also heard the sound of Louise crying. But in the heart of Aciel pray that the voice is only hallucination only.

            “Honey, this is susumu.”

            “Daddy, I'm bored.” complained Ciara with a lethargic face. Since yesterday they have not gone anywhere and just laze at home while watching television. For Aciel, it was something amazing, but for Ciara, it was something boring because almost every day she did it at home with her mother.

            “Alright, we go to the amusement park after this. Do you want to meet Santa?” Suddenly Aciel gets the idea to take Ciara and Louise to the town square to see the santa. Every year in December, Sydney always has a festival to celebrate Christmas. And this time Aciel will go there with his children without Eden to make his children happy.

            “Let's go to meet Santa and prepare your best prayer this year so that santa can grant it.”
