Olivia Pregnant (One Hundred Twenty Seven)
Eden was brewing hot chocolate with full cream milk that felt right to accompany her cold night when Aciel went into the kitchen to collect the coffee his wife had promised beautiful ones. Realizing the presence of Aciel behind him, Eden immediately gave a signal without turning his body if he had prepared the man's favorite black coffee on the table.
“I wonder.” said Eden started the conversation. He turned around in a careful motion due to his distended stomach while churning out his hot brown softness which was still emitting thin steam. “Are you still going to be able to sleep well after drinking coffee?” It was a question that had been lodged in Eden's mind, but only this time could he really ask Aciel.
“Sure, why?” ask Aciel after sipping his coffee favorably. “This won't affect me at all. I've been drinking coffee since I was fifteen.”
Exactly as Eden guessed if Aciel's body becomes immune to the effects of caffeine contained in coffee. Now coffee is just a mandatory drink for Aciel, not a drink to eliminate drowsiness as is often done by people in general.
“How are you feeling today?”
“Not worse nor better, everything feels ordinary in my opinion.” replied Eden indifferently. After drinking a little hot chocolate, Eden immediately put the cup next to Aciel's coffee cup. The gift cup from Jessica with the words Mom and Dad was so sweet according to Eden when standing side by side on the table.
“You don't feel nervous before your delivery day?”
“Not really. I am also confused.” replied Eden while slipping her hand between Aciel's arm and her muscular body. Sometimes he gets scared of his own thoughts when he imagines that Aciel has another woman out there. After all, Aciel was a rich man who was handsome and very charming at his mature age. Any woman would definitely not be able to resist her charm, even her invitation if the man wanted to do something more intimate. It could be said if the basis of their marriage is trust and affection. That mutual trust was the only thing that allowed Eden to continue to trust Aciel. And the affection that Aciel has for him and his family makes Aciel able to survive being a committed man in the midst of storms that often hit him out there.
“Ace, what would you think if you saw a beautiful and sexy woman out there?”
“Aglorious to him, of course. And if I have the chance, maybe I can drag him to the nearest hotel.” From his jokes, Aciel hoped that Eden would react the same as usual, yelling and pinching him with extreme pain in his waist. But until five seconds passed and Eden just kept quiet while thinking, it suddenly made Aciel worried and immediately put away his teasing smile.
“What do you think, baby?”
“You're right, Ace.” Eden did not respond to Aciel's words earlier. He opens up a new, more serious conversation with Aciel. “All men will definitely think like that if they see a beautiful woman.”
“Heey hey heey... What's wrong with you, baby?” aciel asked started to panic when she heard Eden's strange words. “I'm not like that. Really.”
Eden saw Aciel's real face fixed, and he suddenly had a vision. Something just slammed into his brain and made Eden jerk up so low towards Aciel.
“Ed... Are you okay?” ask Aciel to worry. The man continued to hold Eden's strong body while staring at Eden's fickle facial expression, occasionally surprised, and occasionally showing a panicked face.
“Ace, I think I got a little memory of me. At our wedding.” Eden spoke bitterly because tears had suddenly burst out in his eyes. Really he never thought if in this situation he would get his memory lost. Once when he was plagued with doubt
big, he desperately wants to get his memory back so that he can drop his trust in Aciel. But no matter how hard he tried, the memory never appeared, and it drained his energy until he was weak because too forced himself to remember everything. But now, when he had resigned to Aciel, the memory was actually slowly appearing like a very amazing film roll.
“I remember when you took the wedding vows at the altar. I cried at that time because I was too moved by the oath of allegiance that you said in a loud voice without hesitation.”
“Ohh My God, finally.” sigh Aciel full of relief and immediately embraced Eden tightly. Although Aciel could not reach the body of Eden more freely because of the distended stomach of Eden, but Aciel still did it with all the gratitude he could offer to God. “Finally the day you remember me coming too. I've been looking forward to it for a long time.”
“I'm sorry, Ace. I accused you of cheating on me.”
For the umpteenth time Eden apologized to Aciel. He knew that the words of apology expressed from his lips would never be enough to treat the wound in Aciel's heart because he had once accused the man so vilely.
“You don't have to apologize to me, baby. All of it is comparable to the mistakes I once made with you.”
“So we have break even for having hurt each other?” said Eden chuckled. He drowned himself even more in the warm arms of Aciel. He did not want to lose Aciel at all times, and he would always try to place his trust in Aciel. Only the man, and he swore allegiance before the Lord.
“Ace, will a man be directly tempted on a beautiful woman without thinking about the condition of the woman?”
“I don't understand you.” said Aciel with a frown on his forehead.
“Sit.” Eden pushed Aciel's soft body towards the wooden chair that was right behind Aciel's body. After that Eden pulled one of the nearby chairs and sat down next to Aciel who had been staring at him with a confused look.
“Actually what have you been talking about since?”
“A relationship. What a man would be easily tempted to the beautiful women he meets at parties, then the ambition to drag them to their beds without thinking about the condition of the woman who may have been a wife of another man.”
“Some yes, and some no. You can't hit your charges flat if all those men are assholes. It all depends on how much self-control they have.”
“Do you want to say if now you have good self-control?” ask Eden tease.
“Of course. I'm very good at controlling myself. The longer you will feel more sinful if you lose control and betray your partner.” tell Aciel with a serious face really. Eden felt so relieved to know that from the lips of Aciel because now the man has really committed to him and his family.
“Alright, thanks for the explanation, Mr. Lutherford. I'll ask you another question.”
Aciel was seen listening intently to the next question Eden was about to ask. That woman really made him nervous tonight.
“What if a man likes a married woman, then fucks her?”
“That's his right. After all you should not just blame the men, however the women also have a share in that.”
“Yah. But what if the woman was drunk at the time, would you still blame the woman?”
“Why?” ask Eden curious. According to him, such things will not be the fault of the woman because she is under the influence of alcohol.
“Because he got drunk with the wrong guy. Of course a man will not attract a woman who is already teller to approach. They don't like talking to drunk women, because it's the same as talking to a wall. So it's obvious that the woman must not have been drunk before becoming drunk with the wrong person.”
It felt like the explanation Aciel gave made a lot of sense. The woman had not been drunk with a man who was not her husband. But then he got drunk while talking to the wrong guy. Then from what angle should he defend Olivia? The woman was clearly wrong for not immediately looking for Sian before actually getting drunk with an unknown man.
“Olivia pregnant.” Tell Eden suddenly in a slow voice. First of all Eden wants to know how Aciel responds when she finds out that Olivia is pregnant. Whether the man will be as excited as he seems, or even frown as he is today. Waitaminute! Eden increasingly observed the look of Aciel's face that actually frowned instead of showing a happy face like himself earlier.
“Why? That's great news, isn't it?”
“Should have been. But as far as I know Sian is undergoing treatment and made him unable to touch his wife for some time.”
“You know about that?”
“Of course. Sian told me a few months ago.”
“And you didn't tell me?” ask Eden sebal. So only he knows nothing here. It's great! He really feels sidelined now.
“For what? I don't think that's something to discuss. I have had enough pity on Sian who was obviously very tormented by his illness. I don't want to make her grief the subject of conversation with you.”
“But I'm your wife.” snorts Eden upset. He felt the need to be involved in the Sian issue because after all they were family.
“Just because you are my wife, I don't want to burden you with problems you don't need to think about. I just want to make you happy every time.” said Aciel with sweet spices in order to melt the heart of Eden who was hot burning.
Eden sighed heavily in front of Aciel. “But your actions made me a dumb-looking person in front of Olivia. When she told me about her pregnancy, she showed a grim face. I responded with great joy because it was good news. I've hurt Olivia.”
“Why is she not happy with her pregnancy? Is that why it hurt Sian? Yahh... surely before this they forced themselves and made Sian in pain.”
“It wasn't baby Sian.” tell Eden grimly. “The baby does not belong to Sian because Sian cannot touch Olivia.”
“How is it possible? Is Olivia cheating behind Sian?”
Eden could see sparks of anger in Aciel's eyes because the man believed something wrong. And before it all becomes a misunderstanding, Eden has to straighten it out right now.
“Not, Olivia loves Sian very much.”
“It should have been so, after all the things Sian did, it would have been inappropriate for Olivia to betray Sian. Then?”
Eden groaned in annoyance as the man suddenly cut his story. “Listen to my story.” said Eden fiercely. “Olivia made a mistake while in Miami. He got drunk with the wrong guy, then everything just happened.”
“So that's why you've been asking me in such a convoluted manner since?”
“Yes, because I'm confused to tell you. Now Olivia is confused because she is pregnant with another baby boy. What do you think Olivia should do?”
“Acknowledging it in front of Sian.”
“What if Sian gets angry?”
“That's the risk. Who's that jerk guy who has taken advantage of Olivia's innocence?”
“You think if Olivia was taken advantage of?” ask Eden to shine. She was so grateful that Aciel did not blame Olivia completely.
“It's obvious that Olivia was only taken advantage of because she was so innocent. Before meeting Sian, she had never dated any man. No one glanced at her when she became a blind girl.”
“You're right. That guy was a real jerk for using Olivia. And if Olivia has already admitted it later, are we going to interfere in their affairs?”
“It is better not.” replied Aciel quickly. His sturdy jaw seemed to harden instantly, a sign that he was strongly opposed to Eden's thinking. “That's their household problem. We don't have to interfere. But we can help them if needed. So who's that jerk? Did Olivia tell you?”
“Wait.” Eden tried to remember the name of the man Olivia mentioned this afternoon when telling her the problem. “Scout Voyage's. I reckon it's. Do you know that guy? Because if he's at a party you're having in Miami, it's certain that guy has something to do with Ford Company.”
“Damn it!” maki Aciel suddenly made Eden stricken with shock.
“Why cursing like that?” gerutu Eden was upset. His legs painstakingly dragged the chair he was sitting on to get back closer to Aciel.
“Scout Voyage, he's an architect who makes designs for additional parts factories. And now the jerk is at Sian.”'s house
As if there was a thin wire connecting them, Eden could now feel every tension that Aciel felt. After all the man had a very close relationship with the company of Aciel. And when Sian found out later, it would be a very painful blow for Sian.
