Black Swan's

Black Swan's
VISIT OF EDEN

Eden pressed the bell on the right side of the wooden door while occasionally giving Louise a sharp look, the main star who was happy to make a fuss so as not to continuously disturb the already calm Justice beside Ciara.

Meanwhile behind him he gave a sweet smile to the twins who looked so enthusiastic with biscuits in their hands because at least this afternoon they were outside the walls of the high Lutherford mansion and sturdy.

“What aunty Laila is at home mom?”

Ciara looked unsure seeing the state of the Hyena house that was very quiet. But a few moments later they heard the sound of footsteps that sounded rushed from inside the house followed by the voice of Laila's scream that was so distinctive and very loud.

“Halo! Oh my God Eden! You brought this much army?”

Laila chuckled in amusement at Eden's boisterous company.

Louise who saw Hyena was behind Laila's body immediately barged into the house

regardless of the call of his mother who was so angry because of his attitude that was so difficult to manage like Aciel.

“How are you doing Lai? Sorry I made your house so crowded with us.”

“Same as no. I'm actually very happy to have many guests.”

Laila returned Eden's embrace and kissed the woman's cheeks warmly.

“Come in. Coincidentally today I am on holiday and there is no impromptu schedule in the hospital.”

“Actually I asked your schedule to Nathan.” Eden grimaced small.

“I called Nathan yesterday, asked for your practice schedule and Nathan told me you were off today. You look so amazing Lai.”

Eden observed Laila's body from head to toe. Nothing looked strange in his eyes. Laila looked fit and very happy. The house dress she is wearing today adds a fresh impression in her with a new haircut that is cut shorter than the previous hairstyle.

“Nath didn't tell me anything. Hmm. He must have intentionally wanted to do it. He knew I was so tired of being at home for five months yesterday to recover. Uh wait a minute, I'll have Miranda bring you food and drinks.”

“No need to bother Lai.”

“Same as no. Wait right here. There are so many things I want to tell you.”

Eden chuckles at Laila's behavior which makes no difference after a full five-month bed-rest at her house. Laila is still a frenzied woman and likes noise.

Look at the condition of his house now. He deliberately told Hyena to take out all her toy collection and invite her friends to play together while her mother wanted to chat without interruption. But because of that, all of Hyena's toys are now strewn across the floor. The children are also getting noisier shouting as they please while playing the toys belonging to Hyena very much.

“I hope you like mango juice.”

“That's my favorite drink. Thanks.”

As usual, Louise snatches the glass Jesslyn will give Justice. The boy insisted on drinking mango juice from a glass that was supposed to belong to Justice.

With a piece of Eden pulled his shoulder and glared at him so that he stopped disturbing Justice whose eyes now look teary and almost crying.

“You drink mommy's. Don't be confused Justice.”

Looking unconcerned, Louise took a sip of her mother's mango juice a little and returned to play with Hyena who had just taken her to the back garden to exhibit her ornamental fish collection.

“Sorry yes, Louise is a troublemaker who often makes me and Aciel furious. I hope Lean won't be like Louise. I'm dizzy to see that kid every time I bother Ciara or Justice.”

“Quiet Ed. I think he's just ignorant. Children do love to behave like that in order to get the attention of their parents.”

“You're right. Every time he made a wander, Aciel and I would definitely pay attention to him immediately. She seemed to be completely unconcerned about whether to be scolded or caressed gently. As long as we pay attention to it, it will show a sweet attitude.”

“Well, I think your day is very colorful and fun. The presence of the twins definitely completes everything.”

Laila stared at Lean and Theo with a sad look. In her heart Eden knew that Laila wanted to have more children so that her house would not be too quiet. Unfortunately God has not allowed her now to have a baby.

“Those who have always been the antidote for our aggravation to Louise. Even Aciel always took the time to go to the twins' room after working all day in the office to observe the twins' faces are very anxious while asleep.”

“No doubt at all. I'm even in love with them, Ed. Oh my goodness, you're so funny.”

Anxiously Laila picked up Lean who looked very enthusiastic with Laila. His hand held

over and over, it was like he was showing off a biscuit that had been covered with his saliva on Laila.

“Lean likes you. Lately he's a bit fussy, his teeth are growing again.”

“Oh dear, it must have hurt once huh.”

Laila chatted with Lean, as if the baby could understand her and they were chatting to each other like a pair of close friends.

“Jia she's fussing Aciel can't get near me in the least. He said Leander was his most spoiled son. He seized all my attention and absolutely did not want to be carried by his nanny if it was fussy.”

Laila laughed loudly listening to Eden's story. “I wish I could see Aciel's annoyed expression while being upset. Finally he has a very difficult rival to beat.”

“He grumbled all night after Leander fell asleep. He was annoyed amazingly but couldn't do anything. And if she grumbles I will instantly remind her of her ambition to have many children.”

“And what will he do?” Laila glanced with a seductive face.

“He will sulk! God, she's really sulking like a baby. He would sleep on my back and make me face to face with his naked back all night. Really silly.”

Laila laughed out loud. Feeling very comforted by Eden's visit this afternoon with her noisy children. He did prefer the atmosphere of his house that was crowded with the sounds of children rather than a quiet atmosphere that was very boring.

For five more months resting at home due to a spinal cord injury, he almost wanted to die if only left alone at home when Nathan was busy in the hospital, hyena is at her school and sometimes goes home to Nathan's parents to stay there all day because Nathan's mother wants him to really take a break during the recovery period.

“You know Ed, I'm grateful you came today. I was a bit traumatized to be at home in a lonely atmosphere. I used to have to stay home and not be able to do anything. Even for the first month, when I hadn't done physiotherapy, I couldn't do anything Ed. I'm paralyzed and useless.”

As usual, Laila always looks great. He could not even imagine Laila being forced to be quiet on the bed due to the injury she had sustained.

“You were helped by a therapist during the recovery period right?”

“Yeah jeez Ed, it feels so bad. Every day I'm treated like a Hyena kid by my therapist. Every time I pee, the toilet door should be left open. My therapist always made sure I was within her surveillance distance. Absolutely crazy!”

Although he did not understand what his mother and aunt were talking about, he was holding her, Lean remained happy to see Laila's frenzied behavior until she repeatedly clapped and tried to stand on Laila's thigh.

“Lean is even happy to hear you tell a story. What happened to your therapist after that?”

“She left after one month working here.” Laila laughs at her memories of being with the black therapist who loved her so much.

“Name Loti. He was very patient facing me who was very chatty. You must know if you still like to talk even though half of my body can not be moved. Well this Loti for a month always faithfully listen to my screams and complaints of pain as long as it helps me recover from that back injury.”

His farewell to Loti was so sad. They even hugged each other and shed tears. But he must release Loti to leave before the agreed time.

That night Loti approached him with a feeling of uneasiness. He had just gotten a call from his mother's neighbor who was keeping his mother at home, saying he had to go home because his mother had a stroke in the hospital. It's been two days that her mother has been in care and all that time she just wants to see her son.

Feeling unbearable about her mother's miserable condition, Loti felt she had no choice but to ask Laila for permission to let her go home before the agreed time.

“It was amazing. You fought that long with all sorts of unpleasant things. But... how are you doing now, Lai?”

As if to understand the meaning of Eden's question, immediately the joy on his face dimmed, replaced with a sad mimic that he had always hidden from anyone.

“Nathan actually never demanded anything from me. As long as I'm healthy, he says that's enough. But I do know that she really wants to have another child. Nathan envies Aciel. Your family looks very happy.”

“Lai, for now the most important thing is your health. There's still time.”

“No more time, Ed,” cut Laila quickly with a frustrated mimic.

“There is no time left because one of my ovaries has been removed. My chance to have a child is no longer there. Yesterday I consulted my friend, the obstetrician who replaced me during my illness. She said my egg count was no longer possible to have any more children.

“I will probably undergo the egg harvesting procedure to save the few remaining eggs. But I don't know if my egg can be used to undergo a fertilization procedure in the lab or not.”

His face implied deep frustration. Eden was really concerned to see Laila who looked broken and fragile, as if the woman currently holding Lean was not the Laila she knew.

Laila has always been a famous optimist. He had many patients because of his pleasant disposition. He can always convince his pessimistic patients and give them a hope that can make the spirit of life on their faces flared again. But this time Laila looked like a sick person in need of help. If Eden saw it more closely, Laila seemed to have lost more weight. His cheeks look thin now. The skin under his eyes was sunken and somewhat black. Maybe if Laila did not use makeup and blush, all signs of frustration would be very clearly visible on her face.

“I'm sure you can get through it, Lai. I know what it's like. And so far I've been able to get through it, so I guess you can too. Even so, you will definitely go through many difficulties that you can never imagine. So keep the spirit there is always a way out in every difficulty.”

“Thanks Ed. Now I understand how my patients feel when they have lost hope in their lives. I am experiencing it now. And it feels really bad. Every night I could never sleep in peace. There's always fear haunting me.”

“Mommy, can I have ice cream?”

Suddenly Hyena shouted from the kitchen. The man was carrying a box of jumbo-sized ice cream in his hand and seemed to be begging Laila to be allowed to eat her favorite chocolate ice cream.

Meanwhile next to her Louise also showed a pleading face to Laila who now looked a little dazed looking at the faces of the children.

“You can. Don't forget to share with others.”

“That Louise also did at home. If his friends come, he will take the opportunity to eat foods that I often forbid to eat every day.”

“What is ice cream okay?”

“It's okay for him. It's just that Louise likes to spend a box of jumbo-size ice cream at once if I forget to hide it. He usually vomits and has a fever if he eats too much ice cream. But if it's healed, he's like forgetting.” Eden grumbled funnyly, and it was very comforting to Laila.

“Well, where were we?”

Laila shrugged her shoulders at a glance. “Now I feel better. I mean, when I got back to the hospital, I kind of forgot about my problem. One of my friends suggested doing surrogacy to minimize the risk.”

“Using surrogate mother do you mean?” Eden widened his eyes in surprise.

“That's. It's a last resort if I can't get pregnant because my body's condition doesn't make it possible. I talked to Nathan about it and he agreed. Anything that can make me happy, he will agree.”

“Different from Aciel, he was very against it. Before I was pregnant with twins, Aciel was always whining to have a baby. Then I jokingly advised him to do surrogacy. But his reaction after that became unusually angry. He was strongly opposed to that. She said I would desecrate a sacred and sacred pregnancy process. I was honestly a bit surprised by his way of thinking. Aciel says a pregnancy creates a strong bond between mother and child. When we did the surrogacy, it was like he was having an affair with another woman. Anyway he really has a very complicated mind and is very opposed to it.”

“Mommy! Dirty Justice shirt exposed to ice cream.”

Ciara ran from the kitchen while pulling up Justice's arm whose face had been filled with brown ice cream stains.

“Hmm.. help Justice clean her face with a tissue. Later the clothes should be washed immediately after arriving home.”

“Mommy, Louise did it.”

“OK dear, later mommy will scold Louise. Ciara, do not forget to throw this dirty tissue into the trash.”

“OK mommy. Justice let's see the Hyena cat in the back garden.”

The two girls soon disappeared behind the double door that connects the front room with the kitchen.

Laila who saw that showed a concerned smile towards Justice. During her illness, she found out about Justice's parental condition that wasn't okay. Nathan always tells him the progress of Olivia's search when she was kidnapped first. And now he firmly believes that Justice's parents' condition has not improved and is never the same again as it once was.

“How's Olivia? I haven't seen her since Nathan told me that Olivia's back with Sian.”

Hearing Laila's question, Eden reflexes breathed heavily.

“Bad. He's been having a lot of trouble since Scout got into his life. Even though that man is now

she's dead, but Olivia's suffering continues. Sian could not accept the presence of Scout's son. Whereas in the past Sian promised to consider the baby like his own child, but all this time I saw Sian could not. Such things are not easy to do.”

“To be honest I feel concerned about Olivia's condition. But there's nothing I can do for her. My condition is just as bad as her. It can be said at this time only you have a stable condition.”

Eden smiled gently as she placed her palm on Laila's thigh. “I'm grateful for that. This is really amazing for me.”

He's been through too much trouble since his father died. He doesn't need any more complicated problems right now and just wants some calm. He wanted to have the happiness he had long lost from his life. And it was time for her to have that happiness with her adorable husband and children.

“If the time comes, you will find your happiness, Lai. It's just a matter of time. You were given this problem because God knows you can get through it.”

“Thanks Ed's. You're very entertaining to me. To be honest I've been feeling really depressed with my condition lately

these. I almost forgot about my friends who were in trouble. I heard Jessica had a problem with her dress.”

“It's been resolved well. Last night Aciel told me. The case was won by Jessica even though the money spent on the case was also very much. But at least it paid off with the victory Jessica got.”

Laila shrugged her shoulders at a glance.

“I don't think we've been together long. Yeah, well, our most memorable holiday memories are that of Justice's birthday in that villa. God, I really miss that moment. You know, at that time everyone was happy without having to be burdened with these complicated problems.”

Eden put on a concerned face. It is undeniable that he also misses gathering with his friends.

“By the way about the party, we have the twins birthday party in two weeks. What say?”

“Why?” ask Laila doesn't understand.

As he turned his head down, towards Lean who was already not as active as before, he immediately gave a small shriek when he saw the baby had fallen asleep on his lap without him noticing.

“Yes, he fell asleep listening to our very long fairy tale.”

“Give me. I'll put it in the stroller with Theo. It's time for her to take a nap.”

Eden stood up to place Lean very carefully into her stroller so that the handsome baby would not wake up. While looking down to kiss his son's cheek, Eden asked Laila, “So how?”

“I totally agree. That's a brilliant idea. I think we do need time to talk to each other and get out of our heartbreaking routine.”

After Eden was done with Lean's affairs, he immediately stood next to Laila. His face showed a bright smile that seemed to sparkle. Then a few seconds later he pulled out his phone and immediately engaged in a serious conversation with Aciel.

“Hi Aciel, I changed my mind. We'll have a birthday party for the twins.”
