The Sian Wedlock (Seventy Six)

            The early morning rain woke Aciel from her comfortable deep sleep. Next to him was seen Eden still sleeping soundly with her eyelashes occasionally twitching softly. Somehow the noise of the rain managed to wake up Aciel who had just closed his eyes three hours ago. This week he has a lot of work to do on his own as long as Sian is still recovering at home. In a slow motion, Aciel lay on his side toward Eden and observed the peace his wife was emitting. You're the best, Ed... Aciel whispered inwardly as she recalled her increasingly awe-inspiring days after Eden was back in her arms again as she once was. Sometimes he still thinks if all this is a dream that is too sweet and a little impossible to realize. But for real, he has now got his family and he swears he will keep everything like this until anytime.

            Aciel turned his head quickly towards the walkie talkie that Eden put on the table next to their bed. It was a special walkie talkie that Eden installed in Louise's room to tell her if her little man was crying in the middle of the night. Aciel saw the walkie talkie continue to sound Louise's crying voice increasingly

the old is getting louder. He then glanced towards Eden who seemed not to wake up at all even though Louise's crying sound was so loud through the walkie talkie. Finally Aciel decided to approach his little son in his room by especially turning off the walkie talkie so that Eden did not wake up.

            “Hai daddy's son..” Aciel greets Louise gently and takes her son from inside her crib to carry. Louise's crying voice, which had previously sounded very loud, now gradually began to swallow and stopped after the baby had been in the warm embrace of the father.

            “Hey, can't you sleep like daddy?” ask Aciel again while patting Louise's back softly. The sound of rain that sounded increasingly heavy with lightning made Louise was shocked and almost crying again, but Aciel immediately calmed her little son by taking him to his room and Eden.

            “Let's go back to mommymu.” Aciel kept dipping chubby Louise's cheeks furiously as she led her way towards her room. One of the most beautiful gifts that Eden had given to her at that time was still filled with doubts to decide whether to marry her or not. At that time he was almost frustrated to persuade Eden who took too long to agree to his proposal even though Eden had once said willing to marry him when he was sick in the hospital, but in fact after he recovered, he said, Eden was still stalling for time until Aciel was infuriated by the woman. But then the miracle came to him. One day in the cloudy afternoon, Eden suddenly came into his office with a nervous face that looked strange. At first he did not think that Eden would accept his proposal and asked him to marry her immediately because at that time Eden was still silent about her pregnancy until finally Aciel was furious and decided to leave Eden to the meeting. But then Eden blocked Aciel's arm and told her in a voice too small if she was pregnant.             “Look at your mommy, she's so tired from taking care of you all day. Tonight daddy will accompany you.”

            “Are you sleepy? Hmm.. Then sleep here with daddy.”

            Aciel snaps Louise patiently. He seemed to enjoy the moments of his togetherness with Louise which was too rare he did because of his busy life so far. Sometimes he thinks that Louise will probably forget him more because she is often absent from this house. Instead Louise will probably be more familiar with her servants, then Mr. Kim, Sian, and of course Eden who every day always take care of the little baby with all her heart. Ahhe... Aciel suddenly felt guilty for his little family. After his work was over, he wanted to take his family on a week-long vacation.

            “Daddy promises, daddy will be home more often for you, your sister, and also your mommy.” Aciel whispered softly in Louise's small ears and made the baby whine quietly in his sleep. Aciel smiled slightly, he then continued his activities petting Louise until finally drowsiness attacked him and made him immediately put Louise carefully in the middle of it and also Eden.

            “Sleep dear.” whispered Aciel raucous as he continued to yawn after he felt tired of putting Louise's bob in his arms. Soon Aciel closed his eyes to catch up with his son and his wife, who were sleeping peacefully next to him.

            The sound of an alarm attached to the bedside woke Eden from her comfortable deep sleep. The woman seemed still lazy to get out of the bed too comfortable to leave, but Eden soon remembered her task of preparing Ciara for school and also preparing her other two babies, Aciel and Louise of course. The sound of water rustling from the shower in his room made Eden aware if the husband had woke up earlier than him. He then walked towards the window of his room, opening the white curtain wide while feeling the cold moist air that hit his facial skin at this time.

            “Hmm.. overcast.” murmured Eden on her. Down there Eden could see Traco, one of his gardeners was tidying up the weeds that began to rise to almost reach the calves of adults. Sometimes Ciara played on the grass in the afternoon while fantasizing if he was

exploring the forest alone. Especially since Aciel bought him a set of camping equipment, complete with a super large tent, Ciara became more comfortable spending his time in the back garden. Not infrequently Eden had to do drama with Ciara if the little girl was starting to be difficult to get into the house when the day began evening.

            About five minutes of Eden standing in front of the window enjoying the moist air caressing him, he then decided to go to the bathroom after feeling the sound of shower gurgling was no longer heard. Aciel had finished the bath, Eden thought as she walked towards the bathroom.             “Hai dear, we just finished shower.” Aciel smiled broadly at Eden without any sinfulness as he stepped out of the bathroom. On his arm Louise looked so cheerful while actively moving because she had just taken a bath with her father.

            “It's still too early to bathe Louise, Ace.” said Eden annoyed. She still keeps her waist in front of the bathroom even though Aciel has put Louise on their bed and gave Eden a code to dress Louise before the little baby gets cold.

            “She was awake when you weren't awake, and she whined when I was about to leave her to take a shower, so I took her to take a bath together.” Aciel pretends to ignore Eden's annoyance while still walking to the walk-in closet to change clothes. He knew that Eden must be angry, but he also knew that he only needed to ignore Eden's anger if he didn't want to make it even worse, or even to ruin his day because he had to listen to Eden's noisy nagging.

            “You can wake me up, but you didn't do it.” even though Eden wanted to get angry, she finally could only sigh a little because everything felt pointless. Besides Louise also looks happy at this time, she continues to move her legs excitedly when the mother wrapped her body with a blanket when Eden was busy preparing Louise's clothes in her closet.

            “I don't want to disturb your deep sleep baby, besides you need a longer rest to take care of my kids today, hmm...” said Aciel gently with seduction. Eden just rolled his eyeballs lazily, and he did not care at all about Aciel's bullshit-sounding seduction in his opinion.

        “Today I will take the children to the house of Sian.”
