Maybe I Love You (Fifty Two)
In the middle of the night, the woman kept running and running to avoid the pursuit of the men in black who a moment ago managed to find her whereabouts because she was too difficult to run in a heavy dress that wrapped her thin body. In addition, the pain of the soles of his feet also made the running pace of Eden weakened, so he decided to resign with irregular hunting breath.

“It's a pity that I didn't bring a drink.” muttered the old woman was sorry. Eden forced her thin smile on the woman while shaking her hand a few times as she felt fine without a drink though.
“It's okay, I'm fine. Just a little tired because I just escaped from the clutches of the bad guys.”
“Bad people? How many bad guys are after you, what are you doing?”
“The story is long.”
Eden paused for a moment to catch his breath while thinking about the core of the problem that befell him because he could not possibly tell all his misfortune until he had to end up panting inside a stops like this.
“I was raped by my own foster father. Years ago my real father left me to the man to be nurtured and educated as a respectable woman, but that evil man ruined my life. And now I want to go looking for freedom so that I can live what I want.”
“Looking pity on your fate, son, may God provide a way out for your complicated problems. Then where are you going?” the old woman asked, wanting to know. Eden was stunned for a moment while shaking his head unconvinced at the old woman. He had even just woken up from his coma and he himself did not know where he should go now because he was a kara. But suddenly he remembered Tranz, Zyan, and Anthony, they must have helped him to escape from the shackles of Aciel. But unfortunately now he does not know where they are, he only remembers the cell phone numbers belonging to Zyan and Anthony that he memorized out of his head.
“Mistress, may I borrow your phone? I want to contact my friend.”
Suddenly he gets an idea to contact Zyan and Anthony. Although he is not sure if Zyan and Anthony still use the same phone number after four years, but at least he should try it first.
“Of course you can borrow it.”
The woman gave Eden her black phone and waited patiently as Eden began to stick the square next to her ear, hoping for anxiety at the person she called. First Eden contacted Zyan first because the man had always been kind to him and he was sure that Zyan would help him immediately when he was in a desperate moment like this. But until he tried three times, Zyan's mobile number was no longer active and only the voice of the operator always answered his call. He then tried to contact Anthony with a pounding heart and a sentence of plea that he kept on pronouncing to God for Anthony to answer his phone call, because the man was currently the only hope he had.
“Halo!”
Eden was almost blown away when her phone connection was reached by someone across the street. At least with the appointment of the call he still has a little hope if the one who answered his call is his lover, Anthony.
“Anthony? Is this true Anthony?”
“Yes it's me, can I help you?”
“Anthony!! Do you still remember me, I'm Eden, your lover.” Eden said gleefully as she lashed her hands on her thighs. The woman sitting next to him seemed relieved when the poor woman next to him had found a friend who might be able to help him because she herself felt unable to help the poor woman other than to help lend him her phone.
“Anthony, where are you? Aciel's men are after me, they want to catch me again. Can you pick me up now? I was at a stop around Boullevard.”
A few moments of silence made Eden a little panicked. He was afraid that his lover would not pick him up because maybe now his lover has had another woman after four years passed. But then the bright smile was re-engraved on his face when Anthony agreed to his request and promised to pick him up at the bus stop that Eden had mentioned earlier.
“Thank you Anthony, I will wait for you.” said Eden full of relief and immediately returned the phone to the owner. Not long after the bus the old woman was waiting for came, and with a heavy heart the woman said goodbye to Eden to go first.
“My bus has come, I hope you soon get a way out for your problems.”
“Thank you, I will not forget your kindness.”
After saying goodbye the old woman immediately got into the bus while waving at Eden who was also waving at him. Inside the bus the old woman chose to sit in a chair that was in the front row, near the exit so that she would not have to walk too far before getting off in the
the next bus stop. While waiting for the bus that took her to arrive at the next stop, the old woman listened to the news broadcast aired by one of the television stations that was announcing the news of the loss.
“Goodnight viewers, just got word that the wife of one of the most influential businessmen in Las Vegas is missing. Therefore, if viewers see this woman around you, we hope you immediately contact the following number to report the whereabouts of the woman. So much news we can tell you, good night.”
The woman seemed to be in disbelief at what she had just seen because on television she could see the face of the woman she had just met smiling sweet while holding an adorable little girl next to him.
“Huh, definitely a family matter. Rich people do like to look for thrills.” comments the bus driver in passing. But the woman chose not to comment while guessing inside her head what really happened to the poor woman she had just met a moment ago.

Eden was still waiting faithfully inside the quiet stop while rubbing her hands on her open arms. The very cold air of Vegas made him shiver several times while continuing to pray that his lover would immediately appear to pick him up because he was not strong with the cold that began to pierce his bones ferociously.
The sound of a car horn that suddenly sounded in front of him made Eden shocked as well as alert. With full calculation Eden began to observe the car to make sure if the owner of the car is not Aciel or one of his men. And after a long time Eden noticed the car, he could breathe
relieved that the car was definitely not Aciel's because it looked like an ordinary car that would be impossible for a super rich man like Aciel to own. Although he has not seen how the car shape of Aciel since he woke up from a coma, but he is sure if the man must have a very high appetite for the criteria of his car.
“Eden..”
Eden instantly got up and hugged Anthony tightly as the man got down from the car while looking at him with worry. The man then returned his embrace clumsily and then looked at his body from toe to head.
“What's wrong with you Ed?”
“Anthony good thing you came, I was chased by those jerk boys. Aciel chased after me and wanted to lock me up again inside his fancy fucking house.”
Anthony looked quite confused by the explanation given by Eden. But he chose to bring Eden into his car especially because the weather is getting colder around them.
“Come in, we talk about on the road.”
The two different types of humans then immediately leave the bus stop area that looks very quiet. On the other hand they are also worried about the appearance of Aciel's men who could have appeared suddenly there to capture Eden, so they choose a safe way to immediately go from the bus stop without
arousing the suspicion of a handful of pedestrians passing by there.
“What I miss you.”
The first sentence finally escaped Eden's lips since he set foot in Anthony's car. The woman looks so happy when saying that to Anthony while holding Anthony's free right hand. Unlike Eden who looks so happy when he meets him, Anthony actually feels strange with the state of Eden because the last time they met, Eden looks very hateful. Even the woman had never looked this truly sober to him. He still remembers clearly
how the haughty attitude of Eden when they were together. Although sometimes Eden is sweet, but he knows that sometimes the woman is not sincere when she is with him.
“Me too, are you okay?”
Anthony still seemed to be in disbelief with the sudden change in Eden's attitude towards him. He then thought of all sorts of bad thoughts in his head about Eden. It might be a trap. Eden couldn't have changed so quickly and looked fine after what I did to him. Or maybe it was the accident that made Eden like this?
“I'm not okay Anthony. I woke up confused and I felt like I lost people who always cared about me. Do you know how Zyan and Tranz are doing now?”
Eden looked lethargic while staring blankly at the dark street outside the window. Honestly, he is currently confused. He was confused by what had happened all this time and he did not know who to believe in. But because Anthony was his lover, he chose to ask all the terrible facts he had just obtained from Aciel, because he was sure his lover would not deceive him.
“Zyan? Why are you suddenly asking Zyan? And did Aciel hurt you?” anthony asked confusedly while still concentrating on the fairly stretchy road in front of him. At first glance he feels strange with Eden, and it seems like the accident has really turned Eden into a very different figure from Eden that he knows so far. Even Eden innocently asked about Zyan who had clearly died years ago.
“Once, but I'm confused. Just a moment ago I woke up in that fucking guy's house with all these shocking facts I just found out. Anthony, am I really married to Aciel and have two children named Ciara and Louise?” tanya Eden looks frustrated. Anthony seemed to think long enough to digest every word that Eden put out. He is currently examining the real condition of Eden to manipulate the woman.
“Yes, you were married a year ago. But you were pregnant with Ciara since four years ago, before you were officially married.” replied Anthony flatly. Eden immediately let out a disappointed sigh while shuffling her hair in frustration. Eventually what she fears happens, she marries her biggest enemy and has the son of the jerk. Never in the slightest thought in his mind that he would marry the man who had destroyed his future and made him miscarry to the point of almost dying because he felt that he was completely unable to survive with such a great disgrace. It was better to die than to accept that horrible fact.
“How can I marry that jerk? I must have been on the drug when I did it because I don't remember anything about what happened one year ago. My mind feels empty and is filled with memories of us.”
“I'm sorry Eden, I couldn't help you from that man's clutches. He ruined my life. That son of a bitch ruined my career and made me a poor, miserable man. Then he took you from me and married you by force. Then after you got married, my life became completely ruined. But I tried to get up by working as a model with a salary that was not too big because the big companies that would use me as a star of their products would be manipulated by Aciel. I'm trying to collect the remnants of my pride to avenge that son of a bitch Ed.”
Eden shut her mouth in disbelief with all the emotional stories Anthony told her. How much the man had been suffering because of it, and perhaps as long as the man suffered, he was rejoicing with the man who had ruined his beloved's life.
“Anthony forgive me.” said Eden softly with teary eyes and tears that almost fell free from her eyes. But Anthony immediately calmed her down by clasping his palm firmly, squeezing it gently to say if everything was fine as he managed to pass through it well.
“It's okay Eden, it's okay. I'm fine, the most important thing is now that you've come back to me.”
“Thank you for holding out for me. But, may I ask about my life all this time? Am I living happily with Aciel? Then Tranz and Zyan, are they okay now? I'm afraid Aciel also ruined their lives because of me.”
“Eden forgive me, but Zyan died four years ago. Aciel sabotaged his car until he had an accident while about to go to work.”
Anthony smoothly boasted the story before Eden with a convincing face that managed to make Eden believe all the stories completely. Anthony even showed his guilty look in front of the woman because in the past he could not do anything to save the lives of Eden's poor friends due to the cunning actions of Aciel. Even to save his own life he could barely afford it because the man had really taken everything, his possessions, his position, and his love. If he was not a man with unyielding nature, maybe he had killed himself at that time. But he chose not to do it. He chose to return to fight so that he could one day take his own that had been taken by Aciel, especially Eden. But before the accident hit Eden, the woman had completely changed. Eden slowly began to forget about her and turned to her husband. She chose to accept Aciel and raise her son with him. The Eden he met before looked nothing like the Eden he used to know. But now God is on his side. As a result of the accident Eden seemed to get forgotten memories, so he could not remember all the happy memories with his little family. And it will be used by Anthony to avenge him on Aciel. He will use Eden to destroy the man until he cannot rise again forever.
“Anthony please tell me what has happened so far.” Eden's pinta with a pleading face that looks so devastated next to her. Anthony also decided to pull over his car for a moment so that he could strengthen half of Eden's heart that was torn because of some of his stories.
“Eden, I will definitely tell you all the things you have missed over the past four years. And from now on we have to fight together if we want to destroy Aciel. Right now you're the only one I have Ed, please don't go again.”
Hearing Anthony's plea that sounded earnest and implied that pain made Eden powerless to stem her tears in front of her lover. Then Anthony immediately carried her into his arms while smiling cunningly triumphantly.
