Is It Because Lily Wasn't Born to Mama Adira?

He slowly opened the mansion's gate that happened to be unlocked, then stepped in with Lily.

“ Mas Zein ” call him as soon as he really has entered the yard of the old mansion.

But there was no answer to his call. Several times Adira also knocked on the door but did not get a reply.

“ Daddy may still not come home and definitely still looking for Lily ” said Lily worried

“ Oh my God thankfully I don't know anymore how I've been looking for Lily to and fro earlier ”

Zein seemed to be able to breathe a sigh of relief.

“ Yes Mas ” Adira replied briefly to reconfirm that Zein does not need to search anymore.

“ I'll be there soon, please take care of Lily for a while Adira. I'll be right to get there ”

“ Yes Mas ” then Adira closes that call.

“ We wait a minute Daddy will be home soon yes ” Adira said to Lily and can see the happy reaction that the child showed.

“ Mom..Why is Mama happy to see Lily again? ” questions Lily who although spoken slowly but able to make the heart of Adira like receiving a big surprise.

In his mind, filled with confusion about what to answer to the little girl, he did not want to give false hope or sweet words that made the child expect more of her.

“ Lily.. This is Lily herself knows the situation how, Mama Adira and Daddy have separated. So...” Adira's tongue really felt moody to continue his speech.

“ So Lily can no longer call me Mama.because Lily reminded me of that time when Lily said that Daddy already said I was only on contract. Because the contract is up so I'm not Mama Lily anymore ” for the first time Adira has to impose that limit on Lily, where she hoped Lily would stop calling her Mama so would probably make things easier.

Lily was silent and did not respond to Adira's words.

“ What is it because Mama Adira will soon have a baby doll? So Lily can't be Mama's son again? ”

Adira was stunned speechless hearing Lily's words, how could the boy conclude like that. What did Adira say that made all her problems even more complicated?

“ If Lily was born with Mama Adira surely Lily can have Mama again, but now Lily does not have Mama again because Mommy who gave birth to Lily has died ”

“ Lily.Do not talk so son, even though Mommy is dead but Mommy is still Mama Lily. I told Lily once that Mommy must always be watching Lily from above. So don't say like that again ”

“ But Lily would rather have Mama Adira than just being watched from the top of the same Mommy ” Oozed Lily, who was somehow able to stab deep into Adira's heart.

This was what he was afraid of when he was about to meet Lily, he would be able to see again how the little girl who was thirsty for affection of a Mother had to lose again. It gives a big blow to the inner Adira.

Adira does not know what to say to oppose or give words that can change the child's mind. He bends his knees slowly with his knees finally Adira can parallel with Lily's body, although with an uncomfortable position for him he holds Lily's body slowly. Hugging the girl, she recalled the days she spent crying missing the little girl.

But now that she met Lily in person, Adira even felt unworthy to cry in front of Lily. Meanwhile, because of his actions, he had to repeat the trauma of the child losing his mother for the second time.

She misses Lily so much, so much that she doesn't want to let go of the child from her arms.

“ Adira ”

The sound of baritton calling out made Adira turn her head and look at Zein who was already walking quickly towards them.

Slowly Adira took off her embrace and tried to stand up, she felt Zein's hand that had already grabbed her shoulder so with the help of the man's energy she could stand with no distress.

“ Then-

Not yet had Adira finished her thanks to Zein, she was already speechless at the man's actions.

Zein deftly patted Adira's knee softly cleaned the dust marks stuck there after Adira had used her knees as a pedestal.

“ Thanks for keeping Lily here, sorry to keep bothering you. I was also very careless earlier to be able to let Lily separate from me when this place is still foreign to her ”

Adira still could not catch all the words Zein said because her body was still frozen due to Zein's actions, and how ordinary the man still looked.

“ Lily sorry Daddy accidentally earlier, but next time if you want to go Lily must permission first with Daddy yes. Daddy was so scared earlier ” Zein immediately held Lily after saying those words, it appeared Lily who replied to her Daddy's words with a slow nod.

“ Come in ” take Zein to Adira as soon as you open the mansion door.

“ Yes? ah. No. I'll just go home. Lagian has been gone too long it seems Helena has been looking for me ” reject Adira quickly and immediately move away to step away.

But Zein quickly restrains Adira's hand.

“ I beg you at least as a thank you for helping my son earlier, let me entertain you even if it is just a cup of tea. I beg you for a moment ”
