“ I'll tell Mas Zein to cut back on Lily's tutoring activities, no matter how angry she is. Pity Lily ” Adira's resolve.

Looking again at the atmosphere of this big house Adira realized that there was no family warmth, Zein as the head of the family always went back in the morning to the house at 8 pm, so did Noah who worked at his father's company. Aidan and Nadia are always busy with school activities, as well as little Lily.

The family only got together at dinner after which there were no other special interactions.

Adira feels that although the Brown family life is very adequate, nothing is normal in their daily lives.

After dinner all immediately returned to their respective rooms, Adira helped Lily clean her dinnerware so that only the two of them were still at the dining table.

“ How about we go to the room so that Lily quickly rest must be tired once right ” invite Adira.

Lily nodded with a smile.

“ Come here ” deftly Adira snuggles Lily holding the little girl in her arms while walking towards the room.

“ Mama Lilykan already big time still in carry ” protest Lily.

“ Yes Lily is big, but still not bigger than Mama. So do not papa if Mama is carrying because for Mama Lily is still small ”

Adira actually did not have the heart to let Lily walk alone to her room while heading to the dining table just now Lily was limping because surely her legs hurt.

“ Hehehehe ” Lily chuckled and clutched tightly around Adira's neck very happily.

After reading some fairy tales to the boy, Lily fell asleep. Before returning to her room Adira gave a small kiss on Lily's forehead.

No matter who else will believe it or not but Adira sincerely treats Lily like her own child, the little girl is able to awaken the maternal side of Adira who is still 18 years old.

“ Good night Mas ” Adira said like a usual greeting when she enters the room.

Zein stays focused on her phone without answering Adira.

“ Mas should let Lily rest for a few days only ” said Adira expressed her intentions that have been carefully thought out.

“ What do you mean? ” as usual Zein will reply with a short and cold question.

“ Lily every day taking dance lessons because of too much exercise I saw her legs swollen, she also looks in pain ”

Zein looked to be sighing harshly.

“ Such a thing could have happened, her dance teacher knew better about Lily's condition. They did not report anything wrong, it was just the effect of ” workouts

“ I know just rest a few days is not a bad thing, too much exercise can also be bad ”

Zein immediately looked at Adira with an angry look at the girl's words.

“ I know better which one is good for my children, Lily is my daughter I know better about her. Keep your limits and don't interfere ”

Adira's heart ached when she heard the sentence, her own husband told her not to interfere in the affairs of her children. It's not that at least Adira also has the right to show her care even though she's just a connecting mother for Lily.

“ A-I know I am not their mother..I just think at least Mas noticed Lily is also ” Adira said despite her heart ache.

“ Lily herself asked to be enrolled in dance lessons, you think I forced her to take all those lessons. I told you you know nothing more about them than me Her father ”, Zein said.

“ Limitation..it looks like Mas Zein wants me not to interfere too much in the affairs of parenting children. I have to stay within my limits as a connecting mother ”

Without replying to Zein again Adira immediately headed for the sofa lying in silence. I don't know why that night the silence really felt like it was piercing his bones. No matter how hard she wanted to try to get close to her husband's children, it would have been futile if her own husband had not expected her to interfere in that.

“ Miss A where is Daddy? ” ask Nadia as soon as Adira out of the room.

“ Seems to have left for the office since dawn ” replied Adira soberly.

“ Ahh..continue I have to how, the license must be signed immediately today ” grumbled Nadia, Adira just silently did not respond.

Nadia was silent for a moment trying to think of a solution to her problem.

“ Miss A ” call Nadia reluctant.

Adira looked slowly.

“ Come sign this letter ” Nadia handed the paper to Adira.

“ What is this letter? ” ask Adira confused.

“ This is a license to follow a musical, if not handed over today I could not be joining the musical ” explained Nadia awkwardly because actually she did not want to ask Adira for help but want how else is the only solution he's getting.

Zein's words come to Adira's mind when she sees Nadia offering him to sign the letter as a parent.

“ Se-preferably Daddymu who signed ” reject Adira actually he was afraid Nadia even more so do not like it because this is the first time the girl asked for help on Adira.

“ Daddy will already be in the office if I go to the office can-can I be late to school, just sign I have asked permission on Daddy only last night even forget to ask Daddy to sign ”

“ How to say I'm afraid Mas Zein is angry at me for meddling in school affairs Nadia ” , Inner Adira.

“ Miss A you thought for too long that I would be late, however you can already be considered our parents. Aren't you married to Daddy? ” said Nadia with persuasion.

“ This time this girl spoke this courtesy to me especially to admit that I was married to her father ”

“ Quick signature ” Nadia grabs Adira's hand and gives her a pen.

Nervously Adira signed the letter. After finishing Nadia immediately grabbed the letter with a feeling of relief.

“ Don't be afraid once I have actually asked Daddy for permission, he will not be angry because you signed this letter ” said Nadia then passed leaving Adira.

“ The problem is Mas Zein must be angry because I meddled in your school affairs, he told me not to interfere. Signing a license without asking him first finished my history ” mutter Adira slowly lamenting his fate.

Adira walks slowly to Lily's room she has to help the girl prepare her needs for school.

“ Lily ” call Adira soft while opening Lily's room window for sunlight to enter the room.

“ Lily wake up dear later late to school ”

Adira turned her head because she still had not received a response from the boy.

“ Lily woke up this day you have to school ” Adira finally touched gently the cheek of the girl to wake her up. But Lily just smirked uncharacteristically she would wake up soon after hearing Adira call her.

“ Lily! ” said Adira began to panic while touching Lily's forehead which felt very cold.

“ Lily! It's a shame you heard Mamakan ” Adira is getting worried because Lily did not respond even though her body has been shaken.

“ Lily! ” screams Adira panic.
