Noah listened to Helena seriously, the woman who was not even 20 years old but sounded very mature.

“ If you know exactly when you quit school? ”

“ Ah. that I only had time to attend school until class 2 SMA ”

“ Why did you quit school at that time? What made you choose that path? ” Noah wants Helena to answer his question so he can little by little know the cause of the trauma to his wife.

Helena lowered her head for him answering Noah's question was quite difficult. But surely the man will also find out about him someday and there is no point in hiding it.

“ I ran away from home.there was some time I just stayed in just any place until finally decided to stay in the village ”

Noah listened intently.

“ First time living in the village I was immediately accepted to work as a worker in the fields or rice fields farmers who were there, yes even though only daily workers and not settled. Helena walked slowly in front of Noah while telling him many other things about her beginning to live in the village and until finally being able to build a farm.

But it was not the story of how Helena lived in the village that made Noah very curious, but the story of Helena's life before she ran away from home.

“ As long as you ran away from home did your parents not look for you? ” asked Noah back to find out to the initial topic.

Helena is silent about the doubt that she has tried to divert the conversation and intends to only tell Noah about her life in the village not about the dark times she desperately wants to hide.

“ Looks like there are still some people working there, how about we look there for a while I wonder what they are doing ” said Helena without waiting for Noah's answer but immediately stepped away.

Noah instantly knew in truth that was only Helena's reason for escaping the topic. He just walked slowly after his wife.

“ May I know what you're doing? ” ask Helena to the worker.

The worker looked at Helena wondering who the woman was because they did not know her.

“ We are just repairing the water tank that is here, Miss herself what are you doing on this farm? ” no wonder the worker asked this because it is very rare for people to visit the farm without a special purpose.

“ She is my wife and also the owner of this farm ” Noah said before Helena had time to answer.

The workers immediately took a moment out of their work and stood respectfully.

One of them immediately thrust out a hand wanting to shake hands with Helena.

“ Sorry Mom, for not recognizing our Mom so disrespectful. Introduce my Bu Ghani ” workers named Dhani was introduced politely, but Helena never returned his hand. He was confused as to what was wrong with his actions.

Helena stood stiffly and glanced at Noah, she did not know what to do because she could not return the man's hand because of the trauma she had.

“ One new rule you should know that my wife cannot return the hand post because she cannot come into contact with the opposite sex ”

Ghani pulled her hand awkwardly she looked towards her other friends, and looked as confused as she was.

“ I'm really sorry for not being able to reply to your hand post, even though it seems arrogant. I beg your understanding because I cannot come into contact with the man ” Helena tried to explain her condition to the workers.

“ I'm Helena even though I'm your boss but you can call me as comfortable as you guys ”

“ Good Bu Helena we hope we can carry out the best work in the future ”

Helena nodded her head slowly.

“ Noah is there a reason why this farm has finally closed? ”

“ That's because the owner failed in his production, why does that scare you? ”

“ Ah..no I'm just a little worried what if later my farm also does not go well in this place ”

“ Looks like I'm sure this farm will come back to life if you take care of it ”

“ I also hope so ” said Helena slowly.

They spent a few hours on the ranch while walking around and finding out more about the place.

After all, Noah took Helena home, they went through the journey with more silence and only spoke occasionally. Helena is also too cool to see the city from the open car window so she does not focus too much on Noah.

Their car stopped because of the red street lights. Noah glanced briefly at Helena, when he noticed that a man in the other car next to their car was staring at Helena.

Noah felt strange as the man smiled and watched Helena, quickly pressing a button to close the window in Helena's direction.

Helena looked in wonder at Noah with an expression asking why the man had suddenly closed the window.

“ Air pollution is more pronounced in times like this and it is not good for breathing ”, Noah said, actually he closed the window just because he didn't like the guy just now to keep looking at Helena like that.

“ Ohh.” Helena rounded her mouth she just wanted to accept maybe it was already the lifestyle Noah lived.

When the car was running Helena did not open the window anymore, and just focused on playing the game on her phone.

“ Is there anything else you want to do? Besides visiting the farm do you want to go somewhere? ” ask Noah open conversation.

“ There is no other place I want to visit, besides I am also not too familiar with the area here ”

“ You want me to take you to some famous places in this city ”

“ No need I think the longer I stay here I can definitely recognize this place quickly ” actually Helena is reluctant to trouble Noah, while Noah alone had taken his time to accompany him to the farm.

“ Alright is actually so good for a few days indeed you have to rest, many things have happened and certainly there are still many unexpected events that might happen ”

“ Noah but I'm fine I hope don't worry about health problems or maybe think I'm sick. Indeed my body was full of scars and it was just a scar, I did not feel any more pain ” Helena stressed it was seeing Noah who was like too careful about him, he said, and treat Helena like a sick person.

“ You are still not fully healed, outside everything looks fine. But not with your unhealed mentality, for that I cannot cure you either. The only thing I can do is be a protector to you. Wherever and whenever if you feel not okay you can count on me ”

Helena looked at Noah with teary eyes, hearing that someone who wanted to protect her had never experienced her before.

“ Hah.you this why suddenly talk like that, at this time really like you who usually act cold.” Helena fanned her face to prevent her tears from falling.

“ I don't intend to be cold to my wife at all Helena, I can be a good listener if you need ”
