“We'll take Mama with us, right Daddy? ” ask Lily enthusiastically.

Zein looked towards Adira, Adira who felt that gaze felt awkward and scratched her real nape did not itch.

“ Lily would rather go alone with Daddy or we go with Mama Adira ”

Adira could no longer hold back her happiness after Zein's departure she immediately rushed to hug Lily.

“ First why would Lily want to follow all those lessons? ” asks Adira after she can control herself.

“ Lily doesn't like to stay alone at home with the nanny, Daddy always goes to the office and Brother Noah too. Sis Aidan and Sister Nadia are in school so Lily likes to stay alone. Going to lessons is more fun, but now there is already a Mama who accompanies Lily ”, Lily told Adira.

Now Adira knows the main reason Lily wants to be preoccupied with all the lessons. It was because she felt lonely amidst all the other busy family members and she felt neglected.

One other thing that went wrong was Zein who believed that Lily was following all the tutoring because she liked, without knowing her true feelings and what Lily needed more was not tutoring but affection. Fortunately this time Zein seemed to have realized that.

“ Can I enter ” the sound is accompanied by a knock on the door. The cool conversation between Lily and Adira stopped hearing that.

Adira could immediately recognize the voice.

Noah immediately opens the door and immediately approaches Lily, their respective natures seem similar to the difference. Adira feels more awkward to Noah because Noah's older age sometimes makes him confused about how to behave to his stepson.

From what Adira noticed Noah was a caring person. It was just that the way he showed his affection was very awkward. As with Lily herself she would only come by bringing a different gift each day. But never want to play or invite Lily to talk a lot. Noah also behaved the same to his other sisters, because he was very introverted, quiet and also cold.

“ Noah can talk to me for a while ” Adira said while closing the door to Lily's room so that the conversation is not heard by the child.

“ I have no right to. and should not say this, but it might be better if you don't just come and give those gifts to Lily, he would have been even happier if you invited him to play ” explained Adira.

Just imagine after a long word from Adira Noah just silence not responding.

“ I know Lily feels lonely because you are all busy with your respective affairs and seem to ignore them. The way you show affection is right, but flooding someone with gifts doesn't necessarily make that person happy. But it can feel like a formality alone ” continued Adira again.

“ Miss A I can see Lily still needs a female figure who can be considered a mother like you, but I don't need that. I'm not a child hungry for affection ” reply Noah later.

“ Bu-not so I mean, sorry I am like this even like trying to give you advice I know I do not deserve ” Adira knows to talk to Noah then she must bear with sharp words and cold attitude.

“ Be a mother to Lily because she does need you, and no need to take care of anything else ” stressed Noah then passed away just like that.

Adira sighed for a moment.

“ No one does not need a mother figure in his life, be it until we age later we will always miss the figure of our mother. But at least good intentions can be obtained from others as well ” Adira grunts slowly.

When she was about to step back into Lily's room, Adira heard a noise from the kitchen of the house.

“ What's up? ” ask and step quickly towards the kitchen.

“ How dare you act all you want in this house?! ” snapped Vera strong and slapped a very hard slap at a servant until the maid fell down.

Adira was shocked and could not believe what she saw.

“ What is this? ” asked Adira, all the waiters who were there bowed respectfully after knowing the whereabouts of Adira including Vera.

“ I just discipline her Mistress ” replied Vera casually.

“ Stand ” Adira's orders on the fallen waiter.

“ What mistake did he make until you slapped him like that? ”

“ She has kindly invited other waiters to change the arrangement of the items in the kitchen Mistress ” explained Vera.

Adira stared at the equipment that changed the arrangement in the kitchen.

“ I gave the order to change the arrangement of the kitchen utensils. I am more comfortable if the arrangement is like this ” said Adira.

“ Sa-I have said it Madam, that this is by order of Madam but Ibu Vera does not believe ” said the maid was nervous and also frightened.

Vera glared angrily seeing the maid daring to speak ill of him.

“ Do you still ignore the fact that I gave the order? And refuse my orders? ” asked Adira firmly and full of emphasis on Vera.

“ Mistress the preparation of this kitchen utensils used to be arranged by Mrs Starla, change it like it is very bad ” reply Vera.

“ Then? ” ask Adira quiet.

“ Master can be angry if know this ”

Adira laughed when she heard that.

“ Should have been before you thought about Mas Zein's anger, you also considered my anger because my order was not executed ”

“ I only intend to retain the rights of Mrs Starla ”

“ Now all you have to listen to is me! Don't use Madame Starla as a fortress against me! I won't stay silent for this, because I'm the mistress of this house! ” firmly Adira with a loud voice.
