Being a Connecting Mother

Disillusioned

Feel the whipping that continues to follow after. Adira weakly glanced at Zein. A face full of terrible anger.

“ Did I really marry a demon? ”, Inner Adira.

There is a feeling of fear that makes Adira seem to realize that there is a very scary and dangerous side of Zein.

Adira's body completely fell on the floor when Zein finally stopped the whip and pulled her hand, regardless of Adira's crumbling body.

“ How does it feel? You're satisfied! ” Zein's gripping voice made Adira just shut up with her body shaking violently, she really felt shaken.

The sound of knocking on the door rang out and Zein gave the order for the person knocking on it to enter immediately.

Vera's butler came in with a large tray of ice that had been smashed with an irregular shape.

Adira raised her head to see clearly the face of the sumringah Vera saw the state of Adira. Disappointment and shame enveloped him beyond the pain of his wounds.

What would that woman think? How can I meet him later? Am I going to be a person with no self-esteem at all?

The question tormented Adira's heart.

“ Out! ” Zein's orders are firm, and as soon as Vera leaves her master's room.

Zein pulls Adira's hand force her to stand on the tray filled with ice.

“ Don't ever get out of here before I let you go ” Zein left Adira alone in that room.

Adira's eyes were on her husband's departure.

“ In the slightest Mas Zein did not think about my pride, why should he allow others to see me in such a bad state? What little does he have no pity? ”

Adira stood on the ice that had been freezing her legs ever longer, the melted ice forming a sharp surface until her feet were pierced and covered in wounds.

If it is called torture is certainly quite cruel, the legs freeze even though it does not hurt but Adira's legs are filled with piercing wounds of ice fragments.

Holding to the side of a table to support her body Adira continued to stand still there by herself without a sound.

The next morning Zein entered the room, seeing Adira still standing on the tray. The ice that had filled the tray melted and was filled with water mixed with blood.

Adira was actually already aware of Zein's presence, but she was unable to look towards the man.

“ Look at me.Do not ever repeat this mistake again or I will finish you at that time also ” said Zein grabbed Adira's chin.

“ Your punishment ends here ” further Zein sounds relaxed.

Adira stepped her feet out of the tray, a sense of pain immediately invaded her. He stumbled over the wounds all over his back as well as completing the suffering.

“ Mom! Mama! ” sounds Lily calling Adira.

“ Ja-don't let Lily meet me Mas ” said Adira.

Speed up Adira's steps and immediately goes into the bathroom to hide from Lily.

“ No.. I don't want Lily to see me like this, I have to say what to the boy later ”, inner Adira.

Zein opened the door and could see the impatient expression of her little daughter.

“ Daddy, Where's Mama? I want to be escorted with Mama to school ” said Lily.

“ Lily will be delivered Pak driver because Mama Adira can not ”

“ Why Dad? ” whine Lily.

“ Mama Adira there is an important job so Lily must be obedient and want to be delivered Pak driver ”

“ Yes already..Lily will say goodbye to Mama sjaa then ”

Adira covers her mouth so that her crying voice is not heard, somehow hearing Lily look for her when she is not there. It made Adira unable to hold back her crying.

“ Maafin Mom...hiks..Mama does not want Lily to be sad because Mama.hiks.hiks ” isak Adira.

Aidan stood still at the door of his Daddy's room, he was eager to enter and see Adira's state. But he also did not have the courage if his Daddy was there for sure he would get angry.

“ Why are you standing here? Don't want to go to school ” Nadia scolds.

“ I want to know if Miss A is okay ”

Nadia clucked at Aidan's words.

“ Surely he is still alive, there is no way Daddy can kill him right ” said Adira chuckled and then gawked away from there.

“ What are you talking about?! ” for Aidan but not ignored by Nadia.

“ May Miss A be well ” girl Aidan then she leaves before her Daddy catches her there.

Three days passed since the incident, Adira never came out of the room at all. According to what he knew Zein was going for a business trip for maybe a week.

Lily often cries asking to meet with Adira, but Adira has already ordered the maid not to let Lily meet her.

Aidan is also assaulted by guilt, he wants to know what reason Adira continues to be in the room for three days, and how severe the punishment given by his Daddy.

But this morning Adira felt better, so she decided to leave the room.

“ Miss A! ” exclaims Aidan as soon as he sees Adira coming out of the room.

“ Miss A..sorry ” said Aidan, he now knows his Daddy must have punished Adira very severely seeing Adira's legs still on the bandage and her pale face.

“ Lily where is it? I'll go see him ” Adira immediately switch the topic know the direction of Aidan's conversation.

“ Lily is in the park, the waiter took her there because she kept crying from earlier ” replied Aidan.

After hearing that Adira immediately continued her footsteps.

“ How can he still care about Lily? While the situation is still not improving ” Aidan really can not guess the direction of Adira's mind.

“ Lily ” call Adira slowly see Lily who is silent on the park bench and approach Lily.

Lily looked surprised and her face immediately cheerful as soon as she saw Adira. But it didn't seem like he wanted it to pass so easily that he quickly changed his expression and pretended to be angry.

“ Sorry yes Mama has a job for a few days, until Mama can not meet Lily ” said Adira again because Lily did not answer him.

“ Mama is like Daddy, preferring her job to Lily's. Yes Mama just work ” complained Lily.

Adira forced herself to keep smiling.

“ Lily is right it turns out Mama is the same.Mama should not promise like that if it will eventually be denied. Mama is indeed a bad person who deserves to be punished ” said Adira while hitting her head as if she had done wrong.

“ Mom!! ” rutuk Lily is not happy Adira does that.

“ Even if Mama is bad I don't want Mama punished ” Lily said.

“ Really..indeed Lily is a good boy once ” praise Adira.

“ Mama...if Mama is busy, but can't see me for a moment. I miss Mama, I'm afraid Mama goes ” Lily said that while hugging Adira tightly.

Adira grimaced because Lily's embrace made the wound on her back that was still not fully healed painful.

“ Mama why? ” ask Lily worried.
