I Don't Want Him to Remember That Happenstance

Adira's heart aches experiencing all of those things especially knowing the new fact that this is their first time having sex.

“ Then why did Mas Zein tell everyone has said*ri me ” rutuk Adira can not accept.

Adira lies beside Lily, in fact they should both be at the camp but because when heading to the campsite, there is a continuous accident that causes the road to jam so they have to return even though half the trip.

Adira's body that feels quite tired makes him immediately fall asleep while hugging the child.

Zein squinted his forehead slowly to simply reduce the pain running through his head.

Looking at the chaotic condition of his room he hissed small.

“ I didn't think I was that drunk until it caused chaos like this ” Zein started to slowly move from the bed, as she put aside her eye blanket to catch the bloodstains on the bed sheet.

Immediately he felt his body trying to find which part of it was injured it turned out that the wound was on his hand.

“ That must be because I broke this vase ” regretted Zein then she moved quickly tidying up her room. Starting from replacing bed linen and cleaning the former vase fragments thoroughly, he was afraid if not immediately cleaned and hurt others.

Zein had completely forgotten about last night without even the slightest recall of what happened. He only knew when he woke up he was already in a state of chaos.

When Zein took a bath and washed his body under the shower his back was sore as if there were small wounds there.

“ Did I lie down on the shard of the vase so my back also hurt ”

He was completely unaware of the injury from Adira sticking her nails into Zein's back.

Zein went out of the room to at least get a cup of tea that could relieve his hangover.

“ Daddy ” call Lily from back.

“ Lily? ” Zein wondered why her little daughter who was supposed to be at the camp was even here.

Because seeing Lily who wanted to sit down Zein helped the boy.

“ Didn't Lily go to camp? ” ask Zein later.

“ The camp is not so, Dad. At that time there was a bus jam so it could not continue the journey. That's why I'm the same Mama back home ” said Lily softly.

“ When did you guys get home? Where is Mama Adira? ”

“ Yesterday afternoon, Daddy. My mom is sleeping in my room, let Mama sleep first yes Dad seems like Mama is tired of having to accompany Lily when her camp even though it is not so ” Lily seems a little guilty when she wakes up and finds Adira sleeping soundly beside her with a very clear tired face.

“ Yes but later wake Mama Adira to eat. It is not good to miss breakfast, then Daddy went to the workspace first ” Zein brought the tea he had prepared himself to his study.

“ Why did Adira even sleep in Lily's room? He couldn't possibly go into the room and see the chaotic state of the room because I was intoxicated. The good part is also that way then he does not need to feel disturbed ”, inner Zein.

Adira's eyes opened slowly as she felt a touch of a small hand on her forehead.

“ Mama has woken up ” exclaimed Lily as soon as she saw Adira open her eyes.

Lily was afraid that her mother was sick, so she put her hand on Adira's forehead to check her body temperature.

“ It's okay Mama, Daddy said Mama can sleep but don't forget to eat ”

Adira stiffens hearing Lily mention her Daddy.

“ Daddy came into this room earlier? ” asked Adira trying to stay calm in front of the boy.

“ No, Lily who came out at breakfast this morning ” replied Lily honestly.

“ Luckily...for now I hope not to meet directly with Mas Zein. I don't want him to remember last night. Let like this all will be fine as long as Mas Zein does not remember that then I can go unhindered from this house ”

“ Lily Mama's body feels tired, can Mama ask for help ” pinta Adira soft on the little girl.

“ Mama want what let Lily help ” Lily fast.

“ Can yes if Daddy asks about Mama, Lily just said that Mama played with Lily again. Don't tell Daddy that Mama is a little unwell ” Adira persuades Lily so she can avoid Zein when the man might intend to meet her.

“ Okay Mama, now Mama eat first yes ” take Lily.

“ Later yes soon Mama will shower first ” Adira then move slowly to the bathroom.

“ Mama must be sick ” Lily said as soon as she saw Adira who was limping just to get to the bathroom.

Adira came out of the bathroom in a casual dress she had brought from her room last night.

“ Lily be careful, son! ” panics Adira as soon as she finds Lily who almost dropped the bowl of porridge still hot.

If Adira had not pulled Lily quickly then the child would have been hit by a slurry spill or even a bowl fragment that was now strewn across the floor.

“ Yes..porridge fell ” regret Lily

“ Lily didn't get a broken bowl, did she? Why is Lily holding the bowl with the hot porridge? ” Adira can't cover her panic.

“ Last Lily told the waiter to make porridge for Mama, Lily wants to shift the porridge in this direction so Mama can sit while eating ”

“ Huftt.” Adira took a long breath.

“ Mama can slide by herself, Li. Fortunately you were not hurt. Next time don't do something like that again yes ” Adira lifts Lily's body to a chair, then she starts cleaning up the broken bowl and porridge scattered on that floor.

“ Sorry yes Maa.. Lily makes Mama hassles ” Lily sad because she instead made a mess.

“ Lily..Mama is not angry, Mama is worried Lily why-why if for the porridge we can ask the waiter to bring her again ”

“ Lily has always been like this her tender feelings and that great attitude of understanding, I even forgot that she was still a five-year-old child. She thought about bringing me some porridge because I said I wasn't feeling well earlier ”

After asking the waiter to bring the porridge, Adira ate the porridge in front of Lily because the little girl was eager to make sure Adira ate the porridge.

“ Yeahhh the porridge runs out, after this Mama will heal. Last time the waiter said that sick people eat porridge will immediately recover ” said Lily happy.

“ Yes Mama immediately feel healthy again after eating. Thanks to Lily for taking care of Mama ” Adira gave a gentle pat to Lily's head, the little girl smiled proudly as if satisfied to have managed to keep Adira.

“ I will stay like this until at least my circumstances look normal. True if Mas Zein does not see my situation suspicious then he will not ask or remember the incident ” , inner Adira feels confident everything will run smoothly.
