I'll Fire You All

Adira grimaced because Lily's embrace made the wound on her back that was still not fully healed painful.

“ Mama why? ” ask Lily worried.

“ Mama gak papa ” elak Adira while releasing a soft hug Lily.

“ This is the time for Lily to eat, the waiter said to Mama that Lily did not want to eat ” continued Adira to switch the topic.

“ Lily has no appetite..because Mama.” Lily did not continue her words but her face was clearly she was sad.

“ Sorry yes Mama's child must be sad, so Lily is not sad anymore tell me what you have to do to make amends ”

Lily was fondling for a moment what she was going to ask of Adira.

“ Lily want Mama never stay in Lily alone ”

Adira was shocked to hear Lily's request.

“ Without Lily asking Mama won't go, so Lily don't worry about that. Try to make another request, maybe like the thing that Lily wants to do with Mama ”

“ I promise I won't leave Lily.Although obviously it's just sheer nonsense because it'll all be over after six months have passed. But I want to spend those six months happy Lily ”

“ Lily want to go on vacation with Mama, when Lily was sick Daddy said we were going on vacation but it turns out Daddy lied ” Lily said.

“ Well Mama will take Lily on vacation together but not today. Because before we go we have to ask for Lily's Daddy's permission. Now imagine if Mama nemanin Lily eats after we play ” invite Adira who was greeted by happy cheers from Lily.

Adira walks with Lily to the dining table. Adira has tried not to show him too much pain. It was just that no matter how he tried his body said another, he walked a little limp because of his leg which was covered in wounds.

Lily saw Adira's legs covered in bandages, she knew she wasn't okay.

“ Now Lily wants to eat what let Mama get ” said Adira as soon as she prepared everything and Lily was also in a position ready to eat.

Aidan and Nadia have been at the dinner table since, Nadia has finished her meal she is playing with her cell phone now. While Aidan is still eating his food, Adira's presence makes him again shrouded in guilt which makes it difficult to swallow food in his mouth.

As Adira prepares food for Lily and accompanies the child, she realizes Aidan's attitude and innocent facial expression that can't be hidden.

Aidan, who used to say many things to make Adira annoyed, is now speechless and does not even dare to look at Adira's face.

“ Shouldn't need him like this.I can't possibly let him receive punishment from Mas Zein, either, such a heavy punishment if obtained from parents will certainly leave a great sense of trauma to the child. I don't want Aidan to have to bear the trauma to Mas Zein, it's better that I'm the nobody who received it ”

“ I will return to my room ” said Nadia broke the silence, maybe she is tired of being there.

Aidan was still eating his food with his head bowed.

“ Why is he acting so calm? he should have cursed me for deceiving him and told him to hide it..If he felt all the pain it was appropriate he was angry but why did he just shut up. I will not be able to bear this guilt ” , Aidan said in his heart.

After finishing his meal but speaking whatever he immediately left the dining table.

After a few days passed Adira increasingly felt the attitude of Aidan who continued to try to avoid him. For Zein himself since returning from his business trip did not say a word to Adira.

When he entered the room they were silent with their thoughts. Adira actually felt traumatized and scared of Zein ever since the man tortured her so hard. Adira's body will tremble violently if it is near the man, a little movement from Zein alone is able to make a flash of the incident immediately appear. So Adira felt calm if Zein did not heed his presence at all.

Adira chooses to spend more time playing and being in Lily's room in fact also to avoid the stares and behavior of the servants who increasingly seem to dislike and corner her.

The servants in the kitchen were silent as if they had not heard Adira's words. They all ignored Adira.

“ You did not hear my words earlier ” Adira began to feel unable to bear the behavior of the servants.

“ They will only listen to the orders of the Madam of this house, not the village girl who feels so Madam ” Vera said arrogantly, the servants who heard the insinuation laughed at Adira.

Vera's attitude that was once less polite, of course, the more he showed after seeing Adira who was punished by Zein at that time.

Adira clenched her hands tightly her anger peaked upon hearing the insults.

“ What do you mean talk like that?! ”

Before Adira could speak the words she had been holding, Aidan went into the kitchen and immediately yelled at Vera.

“ My Young Master just told Madame Adira ” replied Vera politely but obviously she was shaking in fear.

“ Telling you that she is a nobody in this house only a village girl and has no right to rule you so you mean?!! ” Aidan is getting angry because the butler not only realized his mistake but turned to defend himself as innocent.

“ Ti-no Young Master ” Vera stuttered cupped in fear.

“ Since when did the servants dare to stare and not bow their heads when his master was in front of him. You all do not look at her master!! ” snapped Aidan who made all the servants who were there immediately lowered their heads in fear.

Adira herself was surprised to see Aidan's anger exploding like that.

“ I'll fire you all!! It should be before you act disrespectful, you remember the rules in this house! That you are here on the paycheck for work is not gossiping and instead demeaning to others!! There are so many people who want this job, it is no big deal for me to drive you all out!! ”

“ Ti-no Young Master ” Vera gets even more scared when Aidan says they'll all be fired.

“ We beg Tuan do not fire us ”

“ My master please do not fire me.my family will not be able to live if I get fired ”

“ My master please do not fire me, Mother Vera who forced us not to listen if the Madam gave the order. I beg you to forgive me ” the servants immediately prostrated begging them not to be fired.

“ So you're the one who forced the servants in this house to be disrespectful to Miss A?! ” Aidan looked directly at Vera with a murderous gaze.

“ Bu-not so Sir, it's all ti-not true ”

“ Today you too were fired from this house!! And never show your face again! ”

“ Ti-no Young Master You have no right to fire me, I-I've been working for 5 years in this house Mrs Starla herself who raised me to the butler. You have no right to fire me ” by not knowing the shame Vera still thinks Aidan has no right to fire Vera.

“ You think of being a superpower on the grounds of Mommy hiring you!! Make no mistake I can kick you out of this house immediately. The guard!! ” shouted Aidan.

Immediately several male bodyguards assigned to guard the house gathered there.

“ Drag all these not knowing self-service!! Don't let them enter this house again!! ” Aidan's orders without mercy.

Adira was really surprised not to think Aidan would fire all those servants at once.

“ Aidan is it okay that you immediately fire them all? ” said Adira slowly worried that Aidan's actions will cause problems later.
