Murder Allegations

It's been a week since Adira finally started spending time and not just being in Lily's room.

He felt that his body state had returned to normal, and after he met Zein. Adira Nyakin Zein did not remember the incident at all.

Currently Adira is accompanying Lily to finish her schoolwork, she leads Lily so that there is no mistake for her assignment.

“ Mistress!! Madam! ” a waiter ran frantically towards them all of a sudden.

“ What's up? Why are you screaming like that? ” said Adira who also felt surprised.

“ Ma-sorry Madam but outside there's a cop! They said to find Madam!! ” the waiter looked very panicked.

“ Alright I'll meet them ” reply Adira then move on from there.

“ Sorry sir earlier what's the problem? ” asked Adira to two police officers who did come to the house.

“ We came here on the order of arrest Sister Adira Brown ” the policeman showed me a letter and moved wanted to hold Adira's hand.

Adira quickly moved away from the police.

“ Keep your manners Sir, I also have the right to briefly see the arrest warrant. If indeed I have to be detained then the right to herd me is a policewoman ” said Adira firmly. The two policemen then withdrew, then handed Adira the arrest warrant.

“ Murder charges?! ” surprised Adira read the arrest warrant.

“ You can provide a defense and have the right to be accompanied by a lawyer during interrogation later ” said the police officer, after he called his female police colleagues.

The policewoman escorts Adira and intends to handcuff Adira's hand.

“ No need I will come quietly to the police station, you do not need to handcuff me because it will make me like a criminal ” Adira refused.

“ Mom! Don't bring Mama! ” Lily ran after Adira as soon as she saw Adira would be taken by the cops.

“ Lily wait here for a moment yes, Mama has business with father and mother of this policeman. Later Mama returns as soon as ” Adira calms Lily and gives orders to the waiter to bring Lily into the house.

“ Mom! Lily wants to come with Mama! ” shouted Lily revolted while crying.

Adira got into the police car with two policewomen on her left and right.

“ Can we leave here immediately ” said Adira afraid if the longer they go then Lily will still run after them.

Upon arrival at the Adira police station immediately brought to the room to be questioned his identity.

He was shocked when he arrived in the room and the police told him who had reported Adira to the police.

Adira stared at the nano towards Nadia who was sitting there as a whistleblower. If asked if Adira was surprised, of course, but more than a sense of surprise. Her heart ached more when she heard Nadia's confident answer when asked by police if she remained confident to report Adira.

And Nadia answered with certainty that she was convinced.

Some days not meeting Nadia because the girl went to her grandmother's house, Adira felt an increasingly hateful gaze from the girl.

Shortly after the police finished questioning them in turn, the identity and veracity investigation of the report was completed.

A middle-aged woman walked in and accompanied Nadia. Adira recognizes the woman she met at a business event and Zein tells her she is her mother-in-law.

And of course she's the grandmother of Zein's children.

“ Shouldn't Madam sacrifice this child, he has not even graduated school has a record of ever reporting someone with murder charges is not a good thing especially if later the accusation is fake ” Adira said calmly because he believes the middle-aged woman that has been encouraging Nadia to do just that, Adira could feel great resentment from the woman she didn't even know her name was when they first met.

“ I will take care of my grandson, rather than just take care of yourself because soon you will spend your time in prison ” Glory said rudely.

“ Be careful on the way home Nadia ” Adira then go with the police who ask her to come to the interrogation room.

Adira sat in a chair that had only one in the sealed room. A desk that gives him distance with a detective assigned to question him.

“ Miss Adira I hope the cooperation, I will ask you some questions ” said the detective.

Adira just kept quiet not answering that remark.

“ Since when do you know Mr Zein Brown, who is currently your husband? ” ask the detective seriously.

“ My position here is still a witness, I have the right not to answer your question. And I will choose to remain silent ” Adira said calmly she knew clearly the procedure of a sentencing case. The arrest warrant has now been rescinded as a warrant for a witness' summons. As a witness and not a suspect Adira has the right not to answer the detective's question.

“ I did not expect a young woman like you to understand the law very well ” said the detective saw Adira's reply and calm reaction.

“ I do not know should thank or not for that compliment ” Adira reply to the detective's greeting accordingly, because if he chose to answer the questions that will be asked then he could even be stuck on a question that was deliberately made to corner him.

“ Where is my wife?! ” shouted Zein furiously as soon as he arrived at the police station.

“ Sorry sir I hope to keep following the procedure, this is a police station not where you can scream as you like ” a policeman scolds Zein.

Clenching his hand firmly, Zein told the police who he was and why he came here.

“ Currently Mrs Brown is being interrogated as a witness, for the next 24 hours she is not allowed to go or meet with others until the interrogation process is ” explained the police.

Zein can't do anything he can only wait until the moment Adira is about to get out of the place.

Because Adira chose to shut up the detective left her alone there. Until he was finally allowed to leave.

“ Sister Adira Brown for now you are allowed to go home. When this case is investigated and we need your presence please cooperate again ” said the police who released Adira.

Adira walked out quietly from that place.

“ Adira! ” call Zein fast once see the girl.

“ Are you okay? ” Zein grabs Adira's hand, quickly Adira brushes Zein's hand away.

“ Not currently I am so devastated not the slightest bit I feel fine ” reply Adira cold.

“ I don't know why Nadia did this, but I can make sure the report will be revoked ” soon

Adira glanced at the man.

“ Am I still back in that house? ” ask Adira intense.

“ You mean ask what is it? ” Zein doesn't understand why Adira can say that.

“ People who are hated as their mother's killer are still worthy to set foot in the house ” said Adira as when she felt a great pain and emptiness.
