Why Does He Follow Me?

“ I didn't expect Lily to know we were going to see Miss A ” Noah said as he retrieved the file he had previously submitted to Zein.

“ It's not good to lie to him either, a little kid like Lily is basically still innocent and not lying. Why do we adults teach how to lie to him ”

Zein grabbed the small glass that was on his desk, poured the liquor back into the glass and gulped it down without any hesitation.

“ Alcohol will not make Daddy feel better. It will only worsen the health of ”

“ I've cut down on drinking alcohol ” Zein has repeatedly listened to the warning from his son.

“ Good then because Daddy knows better what is good and bad ” Noah bent his body closer towards his Daddy's desk, and grabbed two bottles of drinks stored in that drawer.

He then stepped out of the room without waiting for the next reaction from his Daddy.

“ Huftt. His firm attitude was not even wavering even in front of me once ”

Zein knew Noah's actions because his son knew that Zein did not reduce the amount of liquor he drank every night. In comparison, Zein's body condition has actually decreased in recent months.

It was because of her drastically changed lifestyle that she could barely sleep every night. Spending the days with smoking and liquor is of course his health is declining.

As Noah once told Adira that his Daddy's condition was really chaotic until Zein himself destroyed his body.

“ How many bottles has Daddy been drinking? ” worried Aidan stared at the bottle of drink Noah was holding.

Noah calmly put the bottles back on the drink rack.

“ At least maybe tonight is not too severe ”

Hearing his sister's answer, Aidan understood Noah's intention to say it wasn't too bad because Noah himself had taken the drink out of his Daddy's study.

But whether it was beneficial or not because his Daddy had legs and could step up to take the drink again.

“ Who is it?.why is he following me? ”

The figure really cannot be seen clearly because at that time the trees still look dark.

Surely Adira believes that someone is following her.

Adira's breath sounded strong because she who had been bored had to walk as fast as that in her condition who was pregnant.

“ Arghhh!!! ” Adira shouts loudly while clashing with her hands.

Adira stopped her previous resistance she was so frightened that she covered her eyes, when she saw clearly that the person she attacked earlier was Derril.

He rubbed his face rough because of the sweat and fear that had still made him tremble.

“ You are pale, are you okay? ” Derril shows his worry.

Adira was still trying to catch her breath, she looked back to see if the person who followed her was still there.

The figure was no longer there even his existence was no longer felt by Adira.

“ Did he disappear immediately after I met Doctor Derril? But how does one move so fast? ” Adira was filled with questions and also new fears this time he experienced something like that.

“ Adira what's wrong? Is there anyone bothering you? ”

Adira looked at Derril, confused whether he should tell the incident to the man in front of her or not.

“ No, Doc.I'm just a little tired from walking too far maybe ” Adira chose not to tell that because even she doesn't know who the prankster has been following her, she said, either that person was trying to scare Adira or was having evil intentions. If saying that to Derril would only cause chaos because Derril would show excessive worry and suspect everyone, he did not expect that.

“ Should not force yourself, do you rest for a while. We can go to my house ”

Looking around Adira knew this place was also still far from Derril's house, almost as far away as returning home.

“ No need, Doc. I will go home only ” reject Adira because besides being far away she also does not want to add to her debt to the man.

“ But the trip to your house is still a long way ”

“ I think the distance from here to the Doctor's house is almost the same as the distance of my house, hmm.it's okay maybe next time. I'm going home delman only ” by chance once a delman seems to start approaching them.

Adira waved her hand for the delman coachman to stop.

“ I'm first, Doc. Oh..iya What is the doctor doing here? ” Adira just realized why suddenly Derril was there while clearly the distance of the place was far from his home.

“ That I called because he said someone wanted to give birth, but it was not time yet. I was on my way home ”

Adira nodded her head accepting Derril's answer because indeed it must be true.

With the help of delman's coachman Adira climbed up and sat down comfortably.

“ Let's doctor ” said the delman coachman while running the delman.

Derril is indeed the famous and most reliable doctor in the village especially because his famous attitude is very friendly and good to everyone.

Adira waved her hand towards Derril and immediately got a reply from the man.

After the delman moved away Derril clenched his hand firmly.

“ Too bad ” the mumble is sharp with a disappointed expression.
