“ Thank you for canceling the report ” Adira said politely to the woman as they both stood at the door of the police station.

The woman looked astonished and surprised that Adira was thanking her. It was not that the girl should have been angry after learning of her mother's evil deeds.

“ I apologize for my mother and nephew's actions. Although this apology will not take away your pain. I also did not expect mother to be so depressed that it made all this happen. Nadia must have been instigated by mother's persuasion so she did that. ”

Adira did not say anything because she herself did not feel worthy of having to accept their apology.

Eventually Adira accepted the offer even though throughout the journey Adira was more silent.

Upon arrival at the house Adira enters along with Scarlet, she does not want to look like welcoming a guest because of course Scarlet knows this house better than Adira.

“ It has been a long time since I came to this house, I did not expect to have to come back after this complicated incident ” Scarlet said looking at the entire house.

“ Call all your employers out and gather in the family room ” Scarlet said with a sharp grin to the waiter she first met at the house.

“ Ba-baik Miss will soon I do ” the waiter looks frightened and immediately moves to carry out the Scarlet command.

Adira looked at the astonishment trying to see from the servant's reaction, it was clear Scarlet had a great influence in this house.

“ You want to come to the family room. I'll show you how to deal with those bad boys ” Scarlet bargains to Adira while stretching her fingers until it sounds like she's preparing to fight.

At first Adira was silent not following the woman but because of fear Scarlet who seemed to be beating the children, she soon caught up with Scarlet.

Aidan, Nadia, Noah and Zein had gathered in the living room.

Aidan had trouble swallowing his saliva as soon as he saw the presence of his aunt, without him knowing his feet even shook uncontrollably.

Nadia felt her whole body tremble after a long time back to hear the loud voice of her aunt.

“ I have indeed failed to take care of my own family and everything has been destroyed ” Zein can only sigh resignedly considering tomorrow he has to attend his divorce hearing with Adira.

“ Sister let these kids insult Adira! Since when did you become a man of no man!! ” Scarlet rage peaking.

“ We will talk together later ” said Zein let her sister-in-law to deal with the problem of children who, she chose to go from there.

Adira stared at Zein's departure, apparently the man also listened to Scarlet and did not dispute the woman's words at all.

“ Nadia can you explain what you've done to your aunt?! ” Scarlet's voice blaring.

“ What these children will listen to if shouted out loud like that ” , Adira said in her heart.

“ Trouble me and your Mommy taught you ethics but it turns out that none of them stick to your brain. Make a report like that don't you think about how your Mommy feels seeing you from up there. The one whose death you consider a game is not only your Mommy but she's also my brother. I will not let ungrateful children to you stain his death like this ”

Nadia was just crying and bowed down sad to hear her Aunt's loud remarks and of course right because her actions had made her Mommy's death a game only.

“ It was my fault Aunt for not trying to stop Nadia from doing the deed ” Noah begged an apology for his sister and confessed that it was all her fault as the irresponsible firstborn.

“ Of course it's your fault for not showing good manners for the example of your sisters. You shouldn't apologize to me, either, but to Adira ”

Adira gradually realized it was not because Scarlet was yelling at the children that they were obeying and honoring her Aunt. But because Scarlet acts like a mother who scolds her children if they're wrong.

That's probably what Adira hasn't done, she'll just choose to be quiet and ignore the mistakes that the children have made until they end up feeling no more guilty if they make the same mistake.

“ I'm sorry Miss A..hiks..hiks.a-I'm sorry ” cried Nadia.

Adira's heart felt sore to see the cry of the girl.

“ What is a sincere apology? Auntie didn't feel any sincerity in your apology at all. Listen to me did Adira ever torture you? This girl treated you guys harshly? Or is he trying to get you guys out of this house? ”

Aidan shook his head quickly.

“ It's true he didn't commit any crime on you guys. Just like you guys who did not expect to have a new mother this young girl also would not have expected to have four children. Then why is your hatred that big on her? He didn't take anyone's place because your Mommy died a year ago. You should respect him for staying in this house! ”

Adira did not expect Scarlet to say those words. He also did not expect that the woman knew all the beginnings of this family problem.

Scarlet looked at Adira pityingly not expecting it to turn out that the girl had already decided to divorce from Zein and leave the family.
