(May) I Fall in Love

(May) I Fall in Love
Feeling Games

Haura did not expect that Farrel would take her shopping at a supermarket. On the last day they spent the holidays together, Haura thought that Farrel would take her to a special place for the man. But what Haura thinks is very different from the reality that is happening now. It never occurred to Haura that Farrel asked her to accompany him shopping. What Farrel buys is the need to cook. Also some packaged drinks and also snacks.

"For what did Farrel buy all this?" asked Haura after Farrel had finished paying for all their groceries.the man carried all their groceries in both hands.

"To cook.." replied Farrel with a casual.

"Who wants to cook?"

Instead of answering Haura's question, Farrel instead sped up his pace making it difficult for Haura to keep up with Farrel's footsteps.

Eventually the two teenagers arrived at one of the apartments. The buildings there are towering. Haura looked up at the line of the building. The girl suspected there were hundreds of apartment units there.

But Haura did not know what their purpose was to the place. Farrel has focused on driving and occasionally answered Haura's questions. The rest of them just enjoy the music that accompanies them throughout their journey.

"Where are we going, brother?" asked Haura unable to hide her curiosity.

"Why did Farrel take Haura to this place?" Haura never thought that it could have been Farrel's residence. Because all this time Haura did not know where Farrel lived.

"That's why... Farrel why didn't you answer?" Haura clucked in annoyance at not getting an answer to her question.

"I want to show you something" replied Farrel.

"Something what?"

Farrell did not answer Haura's question anymore. Gradually Farrel had managed to park his four-wheeled vehicle. The man went straight out of there and dropped off all their groceries.

"Come on.." asked Farrel when Haura had also been standing next to him.

"Where?" asked Haura still did not know their purpose in the place.

Haura just followed Farrel's footsteps into an elevator. The girl saw Farrel push a button to head to the top floor of the building. That's where they're going now.

"We go to where I live" Farrel told Haura, who had been visibly confused about their purpose in the building.

It took only a few minutes for the two teenagers to arrive at a penthouse. Farrel pressed a few buttons to open the entrance of the luxury residence.

Meanwhile, Haura still does not believe that where she is now is where Farrel lives.

"Come in." Farrel asked while opening the door to Haura who now looked more confused.

Haura hesitated to step into the penthouse where Farrel lived. There was a fear that Haura felt. Although not yet entered the place, Haura can find out that Farrel residence is a very luxurious penthouse and of course the price of the property is very expensive.

It never crossed Haura's mind that Farrel lived in such a luxurious place. Although Haura guessed that Farrel was not from an ordinary family, what she saw at this time was very confusing for her.

It turns out that knowing Farrel's true identity actually makes Haura feel uneasy. For Haura it was more comfortable with Farrel who she considered a street child than Farrel who was now with her. One person who was the same yet with a flash felt different to Haura.

Seeing Haura who never stepped on her legs forced Farrel to lead the girl in. Grasping Haura's hand to convince her. "Come.." asked Farrel to smile warmly at the teenage girl who was still sculpting in front of the entrance of his residence.

"Don't be afraid.I'm still the same Farrel," persuaded the man again.

But Farrel's words did not make Haura rush to move her legs. The girl stared at the interlocutor for a moment. Haura actually trusted Farrel very much. But Haura's attitude now was not because the trust was diminished. Haura just felt that something was different from Farrel.

Now Haura realizes that not knowing the truth is sometimes the best option so that things can go as usual. Just as he feels now. Knowing the real truth about Farrel made Haura nervous.

"What worries you?" farrel asked Haura who was still not out of place. Farrel's sense of vision can clearly capture the doubt in Haura. Farrel felt the same way as Haura. The man was afraid that his honesty would make Haura stay away from him even more.

"Sister Farrel.... Haura just.." said Haura stammeringly. "Is it true that Farrel lives here?" ask the girl again. Although he already knew for sure that the place he was in now was the residence of Farrel.

"Hmmm..." Answer Farrel. "Now enter... Don't you want to know all about me?"

Slowly but surely Haura stepped foot into the luxurious penthouse. Just a few steps into the place, Haura was able to see the luxury of Farrel's residence. The man still did not let go of Haura's hand. Farrel looked at Haura who still seemed to not believe that she was the owner of the place.

"Sister Farrel, does Farrel live here?" asked Haura looking directly at Farrel who was beside her.

"Why did Brother Farrel cover it from Haura?"

"Because I don't think this is anything important for me to tell you."

"But to Haura..."

"Did my background have an effect on our friendship?" cut Farrel down before Haura finished her speech. There is a dislike in Farrel's heart when he says that their relationship is only a friend.

"No" replied Haura.

"Then what makes you nervous? I remain the same Farrel and you will forever be someone I love and protect. I never cared about all the differences between us. Trust me."

"Yes sis..." Haura knew that everything Farrel said was sincerity and honesty.

"Now sit wherever you want" said Farrel and left the girl for a moment. As usual Farrel always likes to ruffle Haura's hair before leaving Haura for a few minutes. Haura smiled sweetly at Farrel's back.

Haura chose to look around the place. Haura's vision scanned every corner of the luxurious residence. Every item in this place is certainly worth a fortune. On the wall are some abstract-themed paintings that Haura believes to be the work of a great painter. Haura also believes that the painting is of fantastic value.

One thing that most caught the attention of Haura was a fairly large frame that was displayed on the wall. A photo of a woman and a boy. The girl was now standing right in front of the frame. Look at the photo and admire the beauty of the woman in the photo.

"That's me and Mama" said Farrel suddenly. The man came with two cans of soda in his hand. Also some snacks that they had bought at the supermarket. Farrel put what was in his hand on a table there. Then come to stand with Haura staring at the frame that displays her and also her mother.

"This is a picture of me when I was in elementary school. I was eight at the time" Farrel said.

"Sister Farrel is beautiful."

"Definitely... My mom is the most beautiful woman in the world. Best and greatest mom to me."

"Where is Mama Kak Farrel now?" ask Haura to know. There was no sign of anyone else living in the penthouse except Farrel.

"There is.." Farrel replied briefly. The man was still looking at the photo. "Somewhere is."

Farrel's gaze turned to Haura who was also looking at him.

"Where? Could it be that Haura knows Mama Farrel?" ask the girl again.

Farrel smiled bitterly. Then the man looked at her. Look at the balcony of the room. Exactly trying to hold back so that no tears escaped from his two eyes.

A moment later Farrel took a deep breath. Resisting the grief that slowly infiltrated the recesses of his heart. There's a wound that Farrel is trying to heal. Wounds that no one knows about.

"Someday I'll introduce you to Mama" Farrel promised. Haura smiled happily.

The sky of December brought rain suddenly again. Droplets by drops descend together to greet the entire population of the earth. Describe how longing the heavens are for the earth far from their reach.

Like the rain that proclaims the longing of the heavens on the earth, so does a person who is holding back longs to soon meet a girl who has stolen tranquility every night. Yes, it was Nevan who missed Haura so much. Likewise with Haura who is relentless hoping that Nevan will soon return to his side.

The three teenagers are being played with by their own feelings. Haura's love for Nevan is a love that never wants to be voiced. There's a love Nevan doesn't want to admit to Haura. And there is also an unrequited love from Farrel for Haura.
