"Niko!" haura exclaimed in surprise as suddenly Niko was sitting right next to her. Even the shoulders of the two teenagers were touching each other.

"Why are you surprised?" niko asked as if astonished at Haura's shock. In fact, the question is just a small talk. Everyone would be surprised if it happened to them. Moreover, Niko realized that she and Haura were not close friends to be able to sit together with such a close distance.

"Well, are you here alone?' asked Niko again as if ignoring the astonished face of the interlocutor.

Feeling the distance between her and Niko was so close, Haura shifted her sitting position to produce a distance between the two of them. Of course Haura felt uncomfortable to sit that close to Niko.

"Why are you here?" not an answer that Haura gave, instead the teenage girl threw a similar celebration to Niko.

It was only natural for Haura to ask Niko that. Because it never feels like Niko is in the school park alone without her friends. So it was definitely something strange for Haura.

"Why can't I be here?"

Throwing each other questions without anyone giving an answer is what is going on between Niko and Haura.

"I mean, why are you here alone? Usually you're always with Nevan and the others" Haura explained.

"Don't you always be with those two friends?"

"Huff.t...." Haura breathed a long breath. According to Haura, if this conversation continues, it will never end.

"It turns out you guys are the same," said Haura slowly but unfortunately still able to be captured clearly by Niko's auditory senses.

"We're different. I'm Niko and she's Nevan."

"You guys are different but equally annoying" Haura said honestly. Haura does not think that Niko who looks to be better and more polite than Nevan turns out to have the same nature as Nevan. I like to answer questions with other questions.

Niko simply smiled in response to Haura's statement. "Why are you alone? Where are Luna and Adel?" ask Niko again. Just as Haura was astonished to see her alone there, Niko was equally surprised to see Haura sitting alone in the school garden without her two best friends.

"Today Luna's not in school and Adel may still be in the exculpation room."

“Luna why?” Ask Niko.

“Luna has been sick since yesterday,” Haura replied with a sad look on her face. How not, Luna is her most cheerful best friend and always gives positive energy to Haura and Adel. Not to mention Adel who was busy with exculp affairs made Haura feel very lonely without Luna's presence at school.

“What pain? Is Luna in the hospital?” Ask Niko again. Niko's question was a little different. There's a worry there.

Haura turned her gaze to Niko who was also setting her sights on demanding an answer to her question about Luna.

“Luna only has a fever and she is not in hospital.”

“So you don't have to worry,” continued Haura again.

“Sgratitude.” Niko was relieved to know that Luna was not seriously ill.

“You're worried about Luna?” Haura asked a little teasing Niko. It is strange if Niko who has been acting very cold to Luna but looks so worried about the state of Luna who is sick. But that's what's happening now.

“Enggak” replied Niko firmly back to being calm as usual.

Niko's attitude actually makes Haura laugh with meaning. Although Niko is evasive, but Haura knows enough that Niko is worried about her best friend Luna.

“Haura...” muttered Niko was annoyed by Haura's attitude.

“Iya... I know, you are not worried about Luna,” replied Haura cengengesan.

Niko cursed herself for asking about Luna's situation.

For a while there was no conversation between the two.

Time keeps passing. For some time, there was absolutely no conversation between the two teenagers. Haura looked carefully at Niko's face. Although not as handsome as Nevan, but Niko has its own charm and charisma. It is natural that Luna likes Niko so much.

While being the center of attention of Haura, since earlier looking straight ahead without turning the slightest head towards Haura after their conversation a few minutes ago. Seen some students who were sitting with their friends while sharing stories.

"Are you satisfied with me?"

The dimpled girl simply smiled at the horse while scratching her nape in response to Niko's question. The teenage girl feels really embarrassed because she was caught stealing glances at Niko. Although Haura has no interest in Niko, Haura is only afraid of Niko misunderstanding her.

"Lo don't think about me like that. If Nevan sees, I can be hung on the flagpole" Niko said.

“Ehhhh... A-a-I don't think about you,” Haura replied stammered. Wanting to feel Haura immediately went from there to relieve her embarrassment because she was caught off guard had looked at Niko's face carefully.

“Why my question is not answered?”

“Which question?” Haura asked confusedly.

“Lo satisfied haven't seen me?”

It was not a question that required Haura to answer. Niko just wanted to annoy Haura. At least sitting with Haura can reduce the burden on her mind a little.

At this moment Haura's face was already flushed red from enduring the embarrassment. It actually invites laughter from Niko. The teenage girl did not think that Niko was the same as Nevan. For a moment, the cold attitude that Niko had been showing all this time either went where.

But Haura was so stunned to see Niko laughing as loosely as she was at this moment. Because ever since he knew Niko, never once did Haura see Niko laughing like now.

“Lo likes nothing like Nevan?” Niko asked after being satisfied with her laughter.

Just the suddenness of the question made Haura furrow her brows perfectly. It would be very strange if Niko suddenly asked. Haura also chose silence and did not want to ignore Niko's question.

“If Nevan likes you how?” Although for the first question Haura did not choose to bungkan, but Niko still asked a follow-up question.

Actually without asking any questions, Niko already knew that between Nevan and Haura there are more feelings than just friendship. But both are reluctant to admit or even do not realize the feelings of each other.

“The thing now Nevan likes someone, how do you feel?”

Degg. Degg. There was pain due to the last statement he heard from Niko.

“Does that mean that Nevan likes someone right now?”

“Is that the reason why Nevan stayed away from him for a few days?”

“Is the person Nevan likes someone close to them?”

Various other questions one by one appeared in Haura's mind.

A few days after Nevan talks with Niko and Gian on the rooftop, Nevan has deliberately kept his distance from Haura. They just go and go to school together as usual. After that Nevan seemed to ignore Haura. Whether at home or at school.

For Nevan to keep her distance from Haura is the best choice she can make to ascertain how she feels about her childhood best friend.

The other with Haura. The teenage girl was saddened by Nevan's attitude towards her. Nevan who was always nosy to disturb him now acted cold and indifferent to him.

Of course, that was a big question mark for Haura. But Haura did not dare to ask about Nevan's change of attitude to him. The teenage girl can only guess what drives Nevan away from her.

His conversation with Niko made Haura a little certain that Nevan was in love with someone. Maybe that's why Nevan stayed away from her to keep the feelings of the woman Nevan loved. The woman who knows who Haura doesn't know.

Haura dissolved with her own thoughts, even every word Niko spoke passed by without being able to be digested by her mind. In his mind, Haura was eager to ask further who the woman who managed to win the heart of Nevan.

But it was impossible for Haura to ask Niko. Haura knew enough to not get too involved in Nevan's personal life.

But Haura could not deny there was sadness tucked into her mind. There is love tucked away in every Haura prayer for her best friend Nevan. There is a love that cannot be revealed and can only dwell in the silence of hope.
