Want a Life of Heaven

Want a Life of Heaven
47. Want a grandchild too?

Akmal had been preparing for this sunny Saturday morning, wearing a long-sleeved grey t-shirt with the words 'king of bullshit' and black jeans. He was gripping in front of the mirror for a while. Grabbing the keys to his bike, he steps out of his room with a brighter smile than usual.

Retno reviewed the smile of seeing the face of her son, she was sitting facing a stack of books on the table.

Akmal smilingly got that kind of gaze from the Mother, approaching. Quickly pecking the top of his mother's head.

Retno frowned, looking suspiciously at her son. "Where are you going?"

Akmal brought his face closer to the Mother's ear, with a smile that did not disappear from her lips.

"You're going to meet your future daughter-in-law.." He said half a whisper. Make Retno smile with pleasure.

"Can we do it?"

"Hemh?"

"Agnia wants to see you?" Retno clarified her question, while continuing her activities that had just begun.

"Ehh.." Akmal smeared his lips. "Where are you, Bun.. Is there anyone who can resist the charm of this Mother child?"

"Basic!" Retno chuckled, able to see Akmal's confidence coming down from his father.

"That's why I'm leaving, ma'am.."

Retno nodded, welcoming Akmal's hand.

"Assalamu'alaikum's chat.."

"Wa'alaikumsalam.." Retno was still smiling looking at walking away. But then remember something.

"Yep, Akmal.."

Akmal once again turned his head, raising his eyebrows.

"Hopefully succeed.. I can't wait to have a grandchild." Retno said half a whisper, accompanied by a small laugh. Akmal chuckled at that, then nodded and completely left.

"Agnis.. You're not.." Khopipah's words hang, when he goes into his daughter's room and finds no one there.

Chequelek

"Mother? What's up, Mom?" Agnia came out of the bathroom, walking quickly towards the dressing table. Looks rushed.

Khopipah was stunned for a moment to see that, Agnia was not ready at nine this time. Still with a towel on the head. From what he saw, he was in a hurry. His hand had even taken something wrong. Agnia smiled to herself, embarrassed by her imprecise hasty behavior.

"I'm freaking out, Mom." Agnia grinned, looking at Khopipah.

Khopipah shook his head in wonder, there's only one. "Slowly.."

"Mom just wanted to tell you, who picked me up in front."

"That pick me up?" Agnia did not understand, she just asked Akbar to take her and how it could be said to pick her up. But the concentration is divided into two, must be prepared immediately. Unable to think of any other possibility, Agnia finally nodded. "Yes, Mom. For a moment." he said, still sounding slurred.

"Single mom ahead, yeah.."

"Yes." Yeah."

Khopipah once again shook his head, it was so chaotic that his daughter was in such a hurry.

Riots are still visible from the behavior of Agnia, has twice returned to the room from forgetting her wallet to forgetting to still wear her pajamas.

"Accbar.. Come on." said Agnia, half-screaming. Standing in the main room of his house facing the stairs. Thinking if Akbar waited in his room. Agnia sighed softly, lazy to go to the second floor.

"Udah in front of the times, yes." murmured Agnia hesitated. Then step onto the terrace. Hearing Khopipah's voice talking, made Agnia convinced Akbar was there. He was already too late, sighed softly, just prepare for Akbar's diomeli.

Akmal spontaneously got up from the rattan chair he was sitting on. Staring at Agnia with her trademark smile.

"Lho.. How come?" Agnia looked at her mother, asking for an explanation. Since when is Akmal here? Why Akmal? Where's Akbar?

Khopipah slicked his shoulders softly, why look at him? He certainly doesn't know.

"Akbar there is a sudden business" said Akmal, with a smile that did not disappear from his face. "So ask me to come here."

Agnia turned her head towards the direction the answer came from. Complaining inwardly about how dare Akbar to toy with him. If you can't drive, let's just say, the city doesn't lack public transportation. That's partial. It felt like Agnia was yelling. "Why should Akmal?!" Even their suit looks suitable, the old ash blouse that Agnia wears matches the young ash t-shirt that Akmal wears.

"Where are you going?" Khopipah held back Agnia, who turned towards the house. "Missy-pocket! Aren't you late?"

Agnia smiled arrogantly, thinking of changing her actual clothes. But then they stopped, they were too late. Akmal who had turned on his bike just smiled, knowing what Agnia's complaint was.

Don't know what to do, all the way Agnia just silent, very upset. I don't know where that boy named Akbar is right now. Look and wait, what will he do to Akbar.

"Mr.."

Agnia turned her head, looking back at Akmal through the rearview mirror.

"Go to the parlour?"

Agnia nodded. "Eh?! Do you know the place?"

Akmal nodded faintly. "Udah. I knew Akbar yesterday."

Hearing that answer, Agnia throttled. Akbar accidentally turns out to make him trapped with Akmal. It's growing his frustration. And I don't know what kind of sudden business Akbar is doing right now.

Akbar was sipping a cup of his ordered coffee, breathing a sigh of relief as the coffee flowed down his throat. An outdoor cafe with mountain views feels perfect with hot coffee that the steam is still steaming.

"Why lo?" Fiki asked, just strange with the face of Akbar who was as lively. "The ghostly goat here?"

Unlike usual, this time Akbar only returned with a smile. "Don't start! I'm just grinning again.."

Fiki turned to look at Ardi next to him. "Therefore, kesambet.. Ruqyah was there."

"It does not have to be in ruqyah diamah, it must be in jampi." Ardi added, accompanied by a crisp laugh Fiki.

"Not in a winery anymore, it must be slapped!" said Fiki again, never tired of teasing Akbar.

Akbar grunted softly. "Please.. Go on." he said, with a contrived smile. Whatever the two, he was happy at the moment. Although he should be prepared with Agnia's nagging later.

"Oiya.. Akmal won't come?" ignored by Akbar, making Fiki remember something else. "What's he saying?"

"Say there's a sudden business.." Ardi who answered while sniffing his shoulders. Not knowing what kind of sudden business Akmal meant.

"Cool him.." said Fiki, either amazed or mocked. "Gue never did.. Got a sudden business."

Akbar spontaneously turned his head towards Fiki, staring at his bewildered friend, after hearing Fiki's ridiculous remark. Something just came to his mind.

"Gue was serious." fiercely Fiki, unable to accept Akbar's gaze.

"Not be weird! Akmal I give you a noble task today."

"Honorary duty?" Fiki scrunched his forehead. Throwing a look at Ardi.

"Yes. I'm switching Agni's mother to Panti."

"Well.. If his noble duty is like that, I want it too.. Ready twenty-four hours." said Fiki, pulling down his eyebrows. Sneering width.

"Gee!" Akbar is tired of this Fiki joke. He kicked his leg at Fiki's.

"Aah!" Fiki spontaneously pulled his leg. "Joking." he said, glaring. Just saying so has been awarded a kick in the leg. Akbar did not realize, if his big leg was painful despite kicking slowly. Kapok, Fiki no longer said anything. Busy stroking his shin behind his pants.

Ardi sniffed, didn't follow. As usual, the two of them are Tom and Jerry.

"Ente is like drinking the same as thirsty." Fiki, which Akmal means. "She must be him.."

Akbar nodded, yes. Smilingly. Fiki saw it in his heart, thinking about how to reply Akbar later. Look at the calm face of Akbar who was smiling a lot today.
