Want a Life of Heaven

Want a Life of Heaven
122. Two short nights with family

The scent of roasted meat spread, gently touching the nose to then evaporate into space. In the roof yard of the spacious Fauzan house, now all gathered.

For the sake of Yesa's wishes after returning from Hafidz's house they took the time to go to the supermarket. Yesa wants a barbeque. Utilizing the funds provided by his father, he insisted on buying a lot of meat and spices needed for the realization of the desire of the heart.

Agnia and Yesa become grilling operators. Akbar, as usual back and forth interfered. Boasting obscurely for then not at all helpful, just busy shooting here and there with Yesa's cell phone. Whether the result is good or not, Yesa doubts her cousin.

That night the wind blew gently, yet enough to make the body shiver and carry away the seductive scent of the grill.

The elders sat together, talking while circling a long table that had been arranged plates and glasses each. One pitcher of orange ice is complementary, Akbar has even sipped one glass.

Until finally Agnia and Yesa finished and brought the results of their grill to the table. Starting from grilled corn, sausages, meatballs, to the main menu of home-made steak.

All immediately dissolved in the other warmth, talking many things while eating a dish in front of them. Yes, these days Fauzan's house is filled with happiness. After a proposal that was quite surprising to all, until tonight accompanied by stars and dim rays of the moon.

...

The laughter-filled night was over, both Agnia and Yesa were tired. But choose to remain in the yard there, for the sake of feeling again the soft gusts of intoxicating wind. A soft gust that seems ready to hit the grievance that befalls themselves.

Two cups of coffee became friends that night, warming the body in the cold wind, as well as perfecting everything that had entered the stomach.

the puff of smoke is comfortable once entering the nose, creating a relaxed with a slight bitter taste that makes opium.

The pair of cousins sat next to each other, sitting right in front of a glass fence cross-legged on a portable chair. The glass fence immediately presents a view of the city from above, beautiful even if seen during the day will be ordinary. Flickering lights along the road, also in densely populated housing does look amazing when viewed at night.

It seemed that the trip this time was not in vain, Yesa was made to want to scream loudly at him. These two days he tried many things and went to several places with Agnia. There is no regret even though it is short and tomorrow it has to go back to the city.

Thank you to Agnia for making all this feel better, because there is a big difference to Agnia. Initially his cousin's sister never wanted to be asked to accompany him, which made the days of visiting this place always bland. Agnia is always busy with her business, teach, study, go to the orphanage. But look at today..

"Mr.."

"Hemh?" Agnia muttered as her eyes did not turn away from her favorite sight.

Yesa turned her body to Agnia, ready to tell her a long story. "Nyadar no?"

Agnia shook her head with a small laugh. "No, about what?"

"The boy changed to know.."

Agnia chuckled, look at the serious face of Yesa as she said so. "Change what? So older?"

"Lt!" Yesa looked back in wonder, but she was serious. "It's clear, I'm also getting older.but you know.the mother used to be busy, never wanted to walk the same way I was here. Busy in his study, but now.."

"From the call of mother change, Mbak prefers to say. if Mbak returns to his previous self.." cut Agnia, waiting for Yesa to talk will only expose his disgrace.

"Aah!" Yesa nodded, it was true. "Yes yeah, keep going three years behind this Mbak who is going anywhere!" he said, with a big laugh.

Agnia shrugged her shoulders softly, her hand outstretched to take her coffee glass. Sipping the concentrated liquid slowly. For almost four years he was a different person. But it was not to blame at all, it was purely a reaction according to the state of his heart. And now everything has improved, until slowly his original self returned.

The self that can be happy, can also be sad, can be angry, can also be good. The self that can appreciate each process well.

There is no compulsion or pretense, today there is no fear of getting to know and mingle with others. Although life does not promise happiness in the future, but after this day Agnia promises to be stronger and wiser.

As Yesa watched Agnia's distant face, her lips fell high. A stupid thought flashed through his head. "It looks like the power of the crowd is different, yes Mbak." he said with a wide grin.

"Hemh?" Agnia frowned, the genie looked at the puzzled Yesa. I hope what he heard was wrong.

Yesa nodded, shaking her head slowly. "Mbak must see his own smile, now.brighter than when he was graduated."

"When is still warm news of the failure of marriage mbak, you think you will be able to smile so in front of friends mbak?" ask Agnia, to then sigh slowly. Back to her past. "Shame trumps happiness so the best graduates.because at that time it sounded just whispers all about the failure of the marriage Mother."

Yesa listened, she understood how difficult it was then. Himself as a witness, let alone others. Some relatives are gossiping, expressing hurtful opinions and not silence for good. Yesa sighed, the difficulty was caused by two people who were very strong. I don't know how those two guys are..

"Oiya, Ma'am, those two guys.. Do you know how they are?"

Agnia ended her laughing session, turned back to Yesa and then nodded. "They were married, even had children."

"Seriously?"

"Yes.. why? A surprising plot?"

"It's not surprising, but for me it's sad.it could be that they are both together after breaking someone's heart." said Yesa.

"Yes that is. At first Ma'am felt bitter. One question arises.. when they are happy why Mbak himself is stuck in the past? But now it doesn't matter, their existence is no longer a complaint." Agnia explained with a smile.

For a moment Yesa was amazed, this kind of change was what all hoped for. When the past story no longer interferes with their present. "Emh.the power of the leaning is indeed powerful.." he chirped then, smiling broadly.

Agnia snorted bitterly, Yesa had twice brought up the matter of leaning in. It seems intentional. "Don't talk about flocking! You intentionally offended mbak?"

"He. be-can-da, Ma'am.." Yesa put on a smile with her mainstay narrowed eyes. After all his words were original, testing whether Agnia would be angry because of this. And it turns out it was.

"But I'm serious, you know.."

"What now?"

"I'm amazed how he can bring Miss Agni to feel better" answered Yesa honestly. "Emh.. What does he have?" Yesa asked enthusiastically, while eroding the distance towards Agnia. "Is he special?"

Agnia shifted, uncomfortable with the stare towards Yesa. He sniffed his shoulders, unwilling to answer such a question. Acknowledging that he had been proposed to have created a red hue on his cheek, what else if he had to explain his view of Akmal.

"Gee! Come on Ma'am.." Start again, Yesa pulled out her stretch. The quick-fixed sagging Agnia.

"Is that important?" agnia asked, spontaneously making Yesa disappointed and her face bent perfectly. "You just need to know if you're happy, that's all. The rest don't poke! Pamali slave is nyaho.."

Yesa throbbing. "Yes, the boy can't know. Hemhs. She was timid.."

"No.."

Agnia was firm, not interested in being tempted to smile because of the teasing of Yesa. Turning his face forward, with his hands grasping that cold cup of coffee.

Wrong behavior? Just yummy. There is no history of Agnia. Even when with Adi, they are not united as an adorable couple but a couple who are both mature. And maybe that's what makes Adi turn away, if thought again Alisya does have a spoiled character unlike himself.

Uh! What is a mandatory attitude to have in a relationship?

...

The dining table is crowded, lined with breakfast menus that are made special because Grandma, Uncle, Aunt, also Yesa will return to Tasikmalaya. Today too.

Some grocery bags are waiting on the terrace stay put in the car, it's souvenirs that will be brought for relatives there.

Silent created. Only the sound of the spoon clashing with plates is heard, also once Akbar prank alone nyeletuk. Stop the movement of his hands, and smile confidently. "Are we eating in the cemetery? Why is everyone suddenly so quiet?'

The curse was not responded well, including Agnia who glared to signal silence. Trying to tell if it's not funny, and not fun to hear.

Akbar snorted bitterly, either all meat mabok or wind mabok because of last night's event but they were not fun and strange.

Strangely the silence ended immediately after all was done with breakfast, starting with Yesa who asked to be taken an apple. After that, everyone went back to talking like usual. As Akbar frowned, look at everything that was now starting to look normal. It made her feel like she was the only weird one there. They seem to be intentional.

Akbar ended his breakfast by sipping a glass of water, only then turned to Agnia. "Sir, I left this morning. Don't you think I'm anther?"

Agnia who had just stood up, piled up the used dishes all nearby to take to the sink. For a moment he shrugged his shoulders, returning Akbar's gaze. "No papa, no need to ask any more. Usually when you go you never talk first."

Akbar chills, that's why he doesn't like being a good brother. Once acting according to the rules must be responded to so, Ah! Look at Agnia's smile that she deliberately answered so, not to mention Yesa who was satisfied with it.

"Judek.." Akbar did not want to lose, also sniffed his shoulders. "Emh.. would you like to send a greeting?"

"Whose greetings are there?" ask Agnia spontaneously, while continuing her work.

"yeah! Same with the future husband Mbak, who else." replied Akbar accompanied by a wide grin, stupidly his brother was responding to his question.

It made all at the dining table turn their heads in the same direction, Agnia could only reply staring intently at Akbar. Even Yesa who usually did not get along with Akbar and always sat away from him was now the most supportive, smiling at Agnia's reaction.

The others are just mesem, want to join the tease but be afraid because they anticipate the reaction of Agnia.

Already, Agnia chose not to respond and did not undo her goal to the kitchen. Just be aware, as a prospective bride such a plumber is something ordinary. If you can't respond with a joke again then better just abikan, or all will know if he misbehaved every talk about Akmal.

As Agnia grew, Yesa chuckled as the initiative thrust her hand to the tos toward Akbar.

Akbar smiled proudly, welcoming Yesa's palm. And that is of particular concern to Khopipah. "What are you doing?"

A warm hug Agnia got from the grandmother, longer than a hug for the others. Also a warm kiss on the forehead. Akbar next to them could only stare in envy, long enough to wait until he finally clucked. "Udah, Ma'am.."

Agnia sighed, then smiled. After taking off his embrace from the grandmother he immediately shifted. Giving a place for Akbar who is now acting crooked, has not changed since they were children.

"Grandmother prefers me, or Miss Agni?" Akbar asked as his hands folded in front of his chest, making the grandmother smile as she pinched Akbar's cheeks. This one's granddaughter was indeed the most spoiled, always being sweet to her. Not like the cuckier Hafidz.

"Prefer to me or Miss Agni?" reset Akbar.

"Perfier like Akbar."

"Me or Yesa?"

"Accadio.."

"What number am I?"

"One."

"Okay." Akbar ended his childish action, his arms open to embrace the grandmother. It has always been so, since childhood the jealous Akbar always asked such questions. Even this time he looked at Yesa arrogantly, as if trying to tell her if she won.

Seeing it choked Yesa just chirped, rotating her eyeballs. "Forced basis!" his lips.

Akbar did not care, unlike Agnia who was given a warm kiss now Akbar who gave the warm kiss to the grandmother.

"Udah, it's mom's turn.." Khopipah interrupted, imitating Akbar's speech earlier.

The farewell made Agnia a little sad, only two nights in fact. He was only once used to Yesa, and had to separate instead. Unfortunately the distance Jakarta—Tasikmalaya is quite far for them to meet often.

Yesa smiled, patting Agnia's back at a glance. "Call me often, yeah." he said.

"Ehh.." Agnia shaking. "You're the real one, don't ask Mama to call."

"Reason..say I don't want to call.." said Yesa, replied Agnia's smile.

"Bak's busy, Yesa.."

"Well, if you're married, it's far from me!" the great-grandson of Yesa, who immediately produced an elbow from her mother. Reproving with his gaze.

"Don't be horrified, Agni.. Hmm? What matters is that you are happy. And. call aunty often, we'll study pre-wedding."

"Damn, Mama.." Yesa turned her head in disbelief, she thought the reprimand so that she did not disturb her cousin was indeed her mother also wanted to be closer to Agnia.

Agnia smiled, nodding. A pair of mothers and children turned out to be the same, really like yes to the phone. "Yes, Bi. Sure."
