Chapter 8

Melly looked back at Ghevin. Shoved his head a sign of disapproval when he saw the cigarette he smoked. Melly approached and picked up the cigarette, then threw it into the ashtray. Ghevin never even protested again. He looked at Melly in surprise.

"Did you come here?" tanyakanya.

"Lo says you're busy again" he said, without answering Ghevin's question. "Why are you even playing billiards here?"

"My business is done" replied Ghevin.

Actually Melly knew. Mummy is proof. "Lo skipped school earlier? inquiringly.

Ghevin just shrugged. He looked at Miko. "Why did you bring Melly here?"

"So, Tristan saw me pick up Melly" Miko reported.

Ghevin's expression changed immediately. The muscles on his face became stiff. "Tristan?" reworked. "Tristan Ivander?"

"Yes" answered Miko.

After hearing Miko's answer, Ghevin immediately slammed the billiard stick he was holding. "B*go lo, Mik!" objurgation. "Why did you get so caught off guard?"

Seeing that, Melly felt sorry for Miko. Instantly his desire that had been lost this morning was suddenly revived. This time, he really wanted to hit Ghevin's head with a pot. "Clearly," said Ghevin, shrugging his shoulders. "You two just want to pretend dating is okay too."

Melly let out a sigh of relief with Ghevin's friends. If only just pretending, maybe Melly can still live it. Glancing at Miko at a glance, it seemed that she also agreed.

The next morning, Miko drops Melly off in front of the school gate. Because now they have officially pretended to be dating, he is also in charge of transporting Melly to school every day. Their attitude has become awkward. It's all because of Ghevin's orders.

"Lo can call me if Tristan bothers you, lo" Miko said.

Melly nodded, though she wasn't sure she'd call her if it was about Tristan.

"I'm sorry, Melly is so scared of Miko's sister," she said, not feeling well.

"It's okay" responded Miko. He smiled to convince her. "Udah, you go in there. Studying hard, yes!"

Miko waits for Melly to reach the gate before she leaves the school.
