Chapter 46

Their conversation stopped for a moment when Mama Melly came out to serve drinks and snacks.

"Kok bothered very much anyway, Auntie," said Miko sungkan. "Kan Miko's here just for a minute."

"It's okay. Please taste." bargain Mama Melly, then go back inside the house.

"Thank you, Auntie" said Miko politely.

They also enjoyed what was presented by Mama Melly.

"By the way," said Miko continued the chat, "gue danger Ghevin so it's about lo same Tristan."

That's not surprising. Surely Miko knows the reason behind Ghevin's change of attitude. Maybe Ghevin told him himself.

"So, what is it really?" ask Miko. "Lo same Tristan dating?"

"We were dating" said Melly. "But our relationship ended so quickly that Melly wasn't sure if it was real."

"Your relationship ended because Tristan knew you were Ghevin's sister?"

"Yes," nods Melly. "What happened to Amanda happened to Melly."

Miko was silent for a moment before asking, "Are you two really in love?"

Melly knew Miko asked so probably because she thought Tristan was forcing her to date her. Looks like Melly has to give Miko an explanation.

"Melly loves Tristan" Melly said. "And he used to love Melly, too. But now, Melly's not sure."

Miko sighed. "When you rejected me, I knew I had to give up on you with other guys" he said. "But I didn't expect that guy to be Tristan. I mean, he's the last guy on the face of this earth that I'm gonna let go of being your girlfriend."

Just like Ghevin, Miko also definitely disagrees with Melly dating Tristan. Miko and Tristan do not have a personal vendetta, but still they hate each other.

"But for me, the most important thing is your happiness" continued Miko. "Lo has chosen Tristan, so I have to accept that too."

"Lo don't give up, Mell," Miko said. "Not being able to be with the people we love is painful. I know, because I've experienced it."

Melly is so bad that she knows she's the one who made Miko experience it.

"But Miko's sister turned on Melly" said Melly reminded her.

"That's because I know you don't love me" Miko said. "I really want to fight for you, but I can't really fight you either. While you and Tristan are different, you love each other. Although now you're not sure of Tristan's feelings, she also definitely won't be so forgetful."

"So Melly has to fight?" ask Melly for advice.

"Sure" answered Miko. "Maybe it will take some time, because Ghevin and Tristan are both stubborn. But I'm sure in the end, all your struggles will pay off."

Miko's words whipped back Melly's spirit. Melly can't give up. Maybe now there is a lot of sadness, but he must believe that sadness will turn back into happiness.

Before Miko said goodbye, Melly asked her to see him often. Melly cannot return Miko's feelings, but she wants to be a good friend to her.

Ghevin came home while Melly was in the bathroom. They cross paths, but she pretends not to see Melly. He spent some time in the room before leaving again.

Melly was looking for the phone she had put in bed. He wanted to see if Tristan contacted him. It's sad, but that's what he's been doing a lot lately. Apparently the phone doesn't exist. Melly had ruffled her bed when she saw her phone was on the dresser.

"Why can my HP be there? Didn't I just put it in bed? Let's not feel sad I've made me senile!"

Melly looks at the screen of her phone, and realizes Tristan is not contacting her. The disappointment that he was used to feeling now began to appear again. How long is Tristan gonna behave like this to Melly?
