On the way to the library, Melly fights the flow of students flocking home. It seemed like they were spectators in the field. They glanced at Melly and whispered to each other.

"I've been intending to do so ever since I came to the park at that time, thinking you were the one who asked for it. Once I knew it was just Ghevin, I doubted. I know he won't approve of our relationship. But it turned out that today she came to me, so it was a coincidence."

"Don't you hate Ghevin?" ask Melly.

"I still hate it" replied Tristan. "But then I realized, you had nothing to do with what Ghevin did to Amanda. If I dumped you just because you're Ghevin's sister, then I'm no different from him, right?"

Tristan. "I'm sorry, Mell, I'm sorry" he said. "I didn't mean to make you cry. Look, your eyes are so swollen. I know this happens a lot. Even if I refuse to talk to you, it doesn't mean I don't pay attention to you."

Tristan actually notices Melly silently, but Melly doesn't notice. Maybe because Melly was too late in her grief.

"I cry because of you" Melly admitted. "Only, I'm basically a crybaby. But don't worry, I promised Ghevin not to cry anymore."

"It looks like you have to make the same promise to me" Tristan said.

"Originally you also promised not to make me cry again" said Melly turned around.

Melly knew their promise would be broken too, because there must be something Tristan did that accidentally made her cry. But for now, Melly let things go as they were.

"When you went to my house first, and spoke in front of my door, I heard everything you said" Tristan said. "You said you missed our relationship, I felt that way too. So, to treat our longing, do you want to go back to being my girlfriend?"

Melly couldn't bear to not tease him. "Is there no chicken satay to answer?"

But Melly has her own way of answering. With his hands, he made a movement as if he was eating satay. Tristan is smiling. He knew Melly had confirmed the question.

"I'm still thinking about your last words on my doorstep" Tristan said.

"My last words? Oh, that's my love statement."

"I haven't had time to reply" continued Tristan. "So now I want to say. I really love you too."

Melly was moved to hear it. His tears were almost like a fountain, if he did not remember his promise to Ghevin and Tristan.

But Tristan looks into Melly's teary eyes. She stroked Melly's cheek, then brought her face closer to Melly's. It doesn't seem to hurt Melly to close her eyes, because this time Melly was sure Tristan did it not because there was a thread on her shirt.
