Chapter 39

Tristan is getting Melly on a date. They no longer just eat and gather with their gang members, as they did on their first date, but also start walking in the mall and watching in the cinema like people dating.

As they prepare to go home on one of their dates, Tristan suddenly tells Melly to wait in the car while she goes to buy something. He returned with two bags of crackles filled with food.

"What do you want to buy more food for?" melly asked in surprise as Tristan placed the two bags of crackles on her lap. "We ate already."

"Hold it first" Tristan said without answering Melly's question. He drove the car into the street.

For a while Tristan seemed to be concentrating on driving. Then all of a sudden he started saying something that made Melly's heart go straight to the edge.

"Gue wants to be more than just a friend to you."

Melly turned to Tristan, but Tristan's eyes remained on the street in front of them. It seemed like he had said it on purpose while he was driving, so he had reason not to stare at Melly.

"What do you mean?" ask Melly pretend to be stupid.

"Gue was sure you knew what I meant" said Tristan, who could not be fooled. "Lo must know how I feel about you. I've never tried to hide that."

Of course Melly knows, but she still wants to hear directly from Tristan. So, he decided to stick with his foolish feigning attitude.

"Gue doesn't know what you mean" he said. "How do you feel about me?"

Tristan grunting. "Don't lure me," he growled.

"What fishing?" reply Melly. "Gue doesn't know how you feel about me. So it's natural for me to do it."

"Lo knows, '" Tristan said.

"No, I don't know," said Melly stubbornly.

"Melly" Tristan warned.

"It's up to you anyway, if you don't want to say," said Melly in a funny tone. "But that means that at any time I won't know how you feel about me."

Tristan seemed to be trying half-dead to maintain his patience. "Gue likes you, my goodness!" keki.

Melly smiled triumphantly. Eventually she can hear Tristan's love statement directly from his person, though in such an unromantic way.

"Gue wants you to be my girlfriend and you can't refuse" Tristan said. "But because it's not ethical if I happen to you my girlfriend is so alone, I will give you the opportunity to menjawab."

Melly will open her mouth, but Tristan raises her hand, making Melly close her mouth again.

"Gue doesn't want you to express yourself through words" Tristan said. "Gue's got something. Try to open the bag of crackles in your lap."

Melly. As soon as it opened, he saw chicken satay in the first bag of crackle and sushi in the second bag of crackle. He turned back to Tristan with a clueless look.

"Kalo lo nerima me, I want you to eat the chicken satay," explained Tristan. "And if you don't, you have to eat that sushi."

A smile played on Tristan's lips when from the corner of his eye saw Melly take a skewer of chicken skewers and start eating them. While chewing, Melly smiled. She is officially Tristan's girlfriend. The satay she ate had become tastier many times over because her heart was happy.

Tristan stops the car in front of Rani's house. Finally, he turned towards Melly. His gaze descended from Melly's face into the crackle pouch that was on her lap, and he was instantly dumbfounded.

"Melly" said Tristan. "I didn't tell you to make the satenya out."

Twenty skewers that Tristan had bought had indeed vanished into Melly's stomach. But Melly did not have time to feel embarrassed because her attention was turned to the words of Tristan. This is the first time Tristan has used "me-you" when talking to her. Looks like Melly should also start getting used to following him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was eating everything. It's a good sate." said Melly awkwardly, because she used to use "lo-gue" when they talked.

Tristan laughs. "This is why I like you" he said.

"Because I'm greedy?" guess Melly was confused.

Tristan's laughter continued. "No," he said. "But because your behavior is funny and can always make me laugh. I'm not bored anymore with you."

Fortunately Tristan finds Melly's behavior funny, not embarrassing. Melly looked down to hide her red face. At that time he realized the existence of sushi is still intact. He picked up one sushi and held it out to Tristan.

"You should eat this if you really want to make me your girlfriend" Melly said. "There is no choice to refuse."

Tristan smile. Soon she devoured the sushi straight out of Melly's hand. Then Melly picked up one more sushi and put it in Tristan's mouth even though she hadn't swallowed the previous one, making her cheeks bulge. Tristan tried to swallow it while Melly laughed at him.

"Oh my God, I'm so happy!" girang Melly in heart.

It feels like Melly doesn't want to get out of the car and part with Tristan. Melly realized she was being tacky, but she didn't care.

When finally Melly was in Rani's house, she could not help but hug Rani and tell her that she was officially dating Tristan. Billy was also a victim of his happiness. He even had to run around the house because Melly chased after him to hug him. They both congratulate Melly, albeit in their own ways.

"Cie, who just made it, his face beamed so," led Rani. "Not aware that his friend has been left single alone."

Melly whines. "It's cepet find dong's girlfriend."

"Tell me there with Brother Ghevin to shoot me" said Rani.

"Eh, Mell, don't forget my treat yes," lead Billy, who just a few minutes earlier successfully hugged Melly with superpowers.

"Big!" melly said kindly. "I'll treat you both to ice cream."

"Well… !!! It's just ice cream anyway?" rani and Billy protest together.

Despite having to face the treaty of the terrible brothers, Melly can still smile. Nothing could ruin his happiness right now.
