Chapter 49

Even though last night Miko told Melly about Tristan, Melly was worried. Miko escorts Tristan home with the help of another Ghevin gang member. Miko wanted to take Tristan to the hospital, but Tristan stubbornly refused.

Upon arriving at school with Rani, Melly intends to go straight to Tristan's class, but before arriving at Tristan's class. Melly meets Robbin.

"Did Brother Tristan enter today?" ask Melly.

Robbin. "So he called me, he said he was sick" he replied.

"ill? Didn't Tristan tell Robbin that he was attacked by the Ghevin gang?" ask Melly in my heart.

"Tristan's sick?" Suddenly Vionna appeared and fell. He looks worried. "What pain?"

Robbin just shrugged and left them. Vionna is going to follow Robbin, but Rani holds him back.

"So Tristan Kak Malem was gang-raped by Kak Ghevin nyampe battered," Rani told Vionna.

Vionna. "How can Tristan get yanked?"

"That's all because of you," Rani accused. "If you hadn't known Kak Tristan if Melly was Kak Ghevin's sister, it wouldn't have happened."

"B-but I don't know if the consequences will be this severe" stuttered Vionna.

Rani grunting. "You should know, because Kak Ghevin and Kak Tristan are sworn enemies" he said. "Kalo nyampe something happened to Kak Tristan, meaning you also have to take responsibility."

Vionna looked so scared that she almost cried. Melly immediately takes Rani away from her.

"Lo doesn't have to say anything to him" Melly said.

"Let's go" said Rani. "Who told him to try calling Kak Tristan from lo in such a dirty way. Tumben lo ngebelain him."

"Gue didn't do it" Melly said. "Gue's just too worried about Tristan so I don't want to mess around with each other."

"Kalo emang lo worried about the situation of Kak Tristan, why don't you just come to his house?" ask Rani. "Lo'll never be there."

Rani's right. Why didn't Melly think to come to Tristan's house? That way he could see for himself how Tristan was doing.

"Do you want to take me to Kak Tristan's house?" ask Melly expectantly.

"When?"

"Back of school" said Melly. "Can you?"

"It can be" said Rani. "Lo's still making his way to his house, right?"

Melly tells Rani that she still remembers, but in fact, they get lost. It took them about two hours until they finally found Tristan's house.

Tristan's car and Amanda's are parked next door. Both are at home. Even Amanda herself opened a double door for Melly and Rani. Amanda didn't seem too surprised when she saw Melly.

"Hi, Amanda," said Melly clumsy.

Amanda smile. "Hi," she replied.

Melly introduces Amanda to Rani. Rani looked ogah ogahan when she greeted Amanda. Maybe Rani is jutek to Amanda because she considers Amanda as her rival in fighting over Ghevin's love.

Amanda let them sit in the living room. After a housekeeper brought her a drink, Amanda started talking.

"So you're actually Ghevin's brother?" tanyakanya.

Melly knew Amanda would ask that. Because Tristan must have told Amanda about it.

"Yes," nods Melly. He stared at Amanda unwell. "I'm not telling you before. I hid this from Tristan, so automatically I have to hide from you too."

"It's okay" Amanda said. "Gue knows why."

Thankfully Amanda was so understanding. But it seems Amanda hasn't wanted to end the topic of her talk about Ghevin.

"How's Ghevin doing now?" ask Amanda.

Melly sighs. "Come," he said. "Gue rarely spoke to her anymore."

"Kak Ghevin's news is good," said Rani suddenly. "Due, she's busy with her girls."

Upon hearing Rani's words, Melly kicked Rani's leg silently to warn her, but Rani remained indifferent. Surely Rani purposely said that to make Amanda think she had no chance to get in touch with Ghevin anymore.

"Oh," Amanda responded briefly.

While inwardly condemning Rani who made Amanda sad, Melly immediately turned the topic to Tristan.

"My goal here is to cool down, Tristan" said Melly. "Where are his wounds?"

"It's a little light, just bruises," Amanda explained. "But it's common. Tristan fights a lot."

"Can I see him?" ask Melly for permission.

"Gue asked Tristan first, yes," Amanda said. "He's been warning me not to let anyone meet him. But who knows if there's an exception."
