Chapter 55

In front of the gate, Melly sees Miko sitting on her motorcycle.

"Sir Miko!" exclaim Melly happy. He ran towards her while dragging Ghevin, then asked, "Why is Brother Miko here?"

"Ghevin is calling me," said Miko.

Melly turned to Ghevin. "Lo purposely told him to keep watch here, huh?" the accusation.

Not to be ashamed of being discovered, Ghevin was nyolot. "What harm? I'd need someone to help me if Tristan's gang decided to bully me."

Melly then let go of his arm and hit Ghevin's arm slowly. "Basic lo! I thought you dared to come alone."

"But Miko didn't come in" Ghevin said. "So it's the same."

Melly was just about to open her mouth to reply, but suddenly she heard Rani's voice calling her name. Rani ran through the gate and approached them.

"Kak Tristan told me to make nyampein to lo if he waited for lo in the perpus," he told Melly. Then he turned to Ghevin and gave his two thumbs up. "Son Ghevin was really cool."

"It's all for Melly" Ghevin said. "As you said, one of us has to give in, so we can get better."

Rani's face immediately flushed. "It turns out you are horrifying my words" he said. "I'm so scared to be angry with me."

Because Melly was happy, and anxious to see the interaction of Rani and Ghevin, she decided to do something that could make them closer. Melly pulls Rani and brings her mouth closer to Rani's ear, so Ghevin and Miko can't hear her words.

"Have Billy pick up your bike" Melly whispered.

"Huh?" ceplos Rani is confused.

Melly does not respond to Rani's confusion and instead pushes her towards Ghevin. "Ghev, can you bring Rani home? He didn't bring a motor today."

Earlier this morning Ghevin left for school so he didn't see Rani pick up Melly. So Ghevin wouldn't know that Melly was lying.

"How can you," said Ghevin. To Rani, he asked, "You want to go home now?"

Rani must have never expected the day she was ushered home by Ghevin. Melly was still smiling looking at them when she heard Miko talking to her.

"It's like everything's fine, huh?" ask Miko.

"Yes, finally" Melly replied. "Is Kak Miko the one who gave the idea to Ghevin to meet Kak Tristan?"

Miko shook her head. "It was entirely Ghevin's own decision" he said. "In his opinion, the only way you can be happy is to let you be with Tristan."

"During this time Ghevin always mediated Melly" he murmured. "So Melly thinks she doesn't care."

"He cares a lot about you" Miko said. "He even ignored the fact that Tristan was his nemesis."

"Hopefully he can be friends with Tristan" Melly said.

"It's not hard to be true, but it's not impossible" Miko said. "By the way, are you dating Tristan now?"

"That's what Melly must've wanted," he said. "So, Melly's talking to him."

"It's not like I'm blocking you" said Miko. "Now it's better to go see him."

Before Melly complies, she says, "Even though Melly is dating her again, Miko's sister should still be friends with Melly."

"Surely, Mell," Miko said with a smile. "Gue will definitely continue to be friends with you."

Finally, Melly said goodbye to Miko while waving her hand.
