Chapter 41

As the school bell rang, Melly dropped out of the classroom and hoped to see Tristan. But it turned out Robbin was waiting for him.

"Tristan said he couldn't bring you home today" Robbin said. "There's something to take care of."

"Something what?" ask Melly.

Robbin shrugged his shoulders. "No idea" he said. "He didn't say."

Melly thanked Robbin even though she felt strange. Why didn't Tristan call him or send him messages via Whatsapp, but instead had Robbin meet him?

Finally, Rani gets a job to drive Melly home. He wished Ghevin was home, but Ghevin's car was nowhere to be seen.

"Lo want to stop by first?" tawal Melly's.

"No, ah," said Rani uninspired. "Ntar Billy look at me, again."

"Don't take Billy with you" Melly grumbled. "She must know you're in my house. You just want to stop by if there's a Ghevin doang."

Rani just grinned. He prepared to run his bike, but stopped immediately upon seeing Ghevin's car in the distance.

"Ghevin's gone home!" girang.

Ghevin parked his car near Rani's motorbike and got off immediately. He gave his usual greeting to Rani.

"Hi, Rani."

"Hi, Brother Ghevin," replied Rani. Not forgetting she had a smile full of love. This time she even tucked her hair behind her ears in a style she thought was sexy.

"Have you gone home, Ghev?" melly asked, distracting Ghevin from Rani's flirtatious stunt.

"Gue just went home for a bath" Ghevin said. "I want to go again." He turned back to Rani and said, "Gue go in first, yeah."

"Yes," said Rani in a cheerful tone. A smile was still imprinted on his lips, and continued to persist until Ghevin disappeared into the house.

"Let her know me" said Rani Cuek. "Lo temenin I'm chatting here nyampe Kak Ghevin out again yes, Mell. He just went in for a shower. I really want to wait in Dalem aja. Who knows if I can see that Ghevin isn't wearing any more clothes."

"Oh, lo's brain!" yang Melly gagas. "That's a big deal, you know? Here I sweep it clean!"

Rani is just a whiny. He completely forbids Melly from entering the house and invites Melly to chat about various things to keep her outside.

"Udah ah, Ran," said Melly after a few minutes. "Gue wants to come in."

"Don't!" ban Rani. "At least Brother Ghevin's out, right?"

"But I'm a laper" Melly complained. "Gue wanted to rush to eat."

"Lo mah cares more about your stomach than about me" said Rani while pouting.

"No, that's not it" Melly said. "Lo wait for yourself."

Rani began to whine, but without Melly had time to protest even, the whining had stopped by itself. Something seemed to surprise him. Her eyes grew bigger and glued to Melly's back.

Melly was astonished. She turned her head back, and what she saw made her react just like Rani. The effect was even greater to him, as he began to feel short of breath.

No. gabe. Melly did not believe what she saw. He's not sure if it's Tristan's car. But when the car door opens and Tristan gets out of it, Melly knows the thing she fears most has happened.

What made Melly shocked, the passenger door of the car was also open, suddenly Vionna came out with a smile full of victory. Melly doesn't know why Vionna can be with Tristan, she can't even ask.

Tristan stopped a little far from Melly. He doesn't seem to want to get close to her. He stared at Melly sharply.

"Is Ghevin Joachim Alexander your brother, Melly?"
