Chapter 13

The threat from Tristan made Melly a little nervous, because she knew that Tristan was always serious about her words. The proof, he was actually watching her after he said he would do it. As usual, Tristan finds Miko picking up Melly after school with her own eyes.

But how will he make Melly regret it? Will she continue to use Melly as her shield whenever she comes face to face with Miko? All that only Tristan knows.

Rani opens the gate after Melly rang the bell. Then he invited Melly to his house. Rani's face looks a little confused by the arrival of Melly. Apparently, Melly had to explain to him what had happened.

"Kak Tristan benefitsin I make ngancem brother Miko," said Melly once they were in the living room. "Gue was forced to come here because he insisted I go home."

"So she knows where Ghevin's house is?" ask Rani.

Melly shrugged her shoulders. "Gue still has to be on guard," he said. "You could be bad if it turns out he knows and he wants me there. I have been lying for nothing with Miko."

Rani's younger brother, Billy, suddenly descends the stairs. She is only a year younger than Rani and Melly, but her face is cute like a baby. She is always angry whenever she is called cute, but Rani and Melly are very fond of bothering her.

Billy greeted Melly at a glance and immediately rushed into the kitchen. The sound of the stove being lit. Billy and Rani used to cook alone because both of their parents always worked until night, so at home they often had no food.

"Eh, Mell," said Rani suddenly. His eyes were twinkling as if he had just gotten a good idea. "Want to go home now?"

"Why? You want to evict me?" ask Melly keki.

"Open up" answered Rani. "You want to go home, let me run. Poor you to go home alone."

Melly knows what Rani's true purpose is. "Lo's going to my house to see the Ghevin, right?" guess it.

Rani nyengir's. "Know you."

Melly nodded her head. "Clearly know! The show pity me, again," muttered Melly.

"Gue pity you really," said Rani unconvincingly. "But Ghevin's brother is home, right now?"

"May he be home again" Rani hoped. "Come, Mell, I'm anter lo go home now."

"Ogah ah's. I want to rest first" Melly protested.

As if I didn't care. Rani drags Melly off the couch. "You want to rest, at your house," he said.

"Dam. It's the same with me" Melly snorted.

"Sorry, Mell" said Rani while grinning the horse.

To Billy, Rani exclaims, "Billy, I can't tell Melly to go home!"

"Old, right?" Billy exclaimed from the kitchen.

"Depending on Ghevin's brother or not" said Rani.

Rani takes Melly outside the house and hands her a helmet, while she is busy removing the Yamaha Mio pink from the carport.

After Melly gets on the bike, Rani immediately drives her bike to Melly's house. Throughout the journey Rani continued to chatter, especially about Ghevin. Melly only responds to it occasionally.

How happy Rani was when she saw Ghevin's car parked in front of the house. He stopped the motor near Ghevin's car. Melly immediately opened the gate and invited him in.
