The Turmoil of Youth

The Turmoil of Youth
Chapter 33

In the end, the anticipated date arrived. When the sound of a car horn was heard, Melly peeked through the window and saw Tristan's car parked outside. His feelings were instantly jumbled, relieved, pleased, and tense mixed into one, and he did not know which portion was larger.

"Good luck, yeah!" Rani cheers.

Melly was hoping she'd be lucky tonight. With the support of Rani, Melly comes out of the house to welcome Tristan. Although Melly had already dressed all-out for Tristan, she had no comment at all. Maybe he didn't realize it. But it feels a bit outrageous if it is so.

Tristan takes Melly to an area that is a little far from Rani's house. There almost from end to end lined various kinds of cafes and restaurants. The atmosphere is very crowded, especially coupled with the number of cars parked along the road. There are owners who disappeared to eat, there are also loyal to hang out with his car.

"Gue used to come here" Tristan said suddenly, as Melly was watching outside through the windshield.

Melly turned to Tristan. "Same chick?" angled.

Tristan grunting. "No," he said, making Melly secretly breathe a sigh of relief, "the same my friend."

"Oh," Melly responded briefly.

"Gue won't let any girl go" Tristan continued.

Good though. It turns out that he's not a playboy like Ghevin who would even ask a girl he doesn't know her name to date.

Tristan parked his car in front of a Japanese restaurant. Melly frowned when she realized she was asking him to eat sushi. Melly held her hand to prevent Tristan from getting out of the car.

"Gue doesn't like sushi" Melly told him.

Tristan takes off Melly's hand. "Why not like it?"

"No, I don't like it" Melly replied. "Gue will eat anything, as long as it's not sushi. I hated sushi the most."

"But I want to eat sushi" Tristan said. He also got out of the car.

Melly couldn't believe it. It's their first date, but Tristan will starve her. Melly followed him out of the car and entered the Japanese restaurant.

Tristan really doesn't care about Melly. She is good at eating sushi, while Melly only drinks ocha while holding her hunger. He offered Melly his sushi, but Melly made a cross with both hands.

"No way!" reject Melly firmly. "Nyampe whenever I won't."

Tristan seemed to want to laugh, but she held him back. Maybe she felt Melly just wanted to be funny, whereas Melly seriously didn't want to touch her sushi, no matter how hungry she was.

Once out of the Japanese restaurant, Melly immediately looked around to find food. There is a restaurant that sells satay. With enthusiasm he immediately ran there.

"Melly!" tristan exclaimed, because Melly just left him. "Where are you going?"

"You buy satay" he replied from afar. "Gue lager!"

Tristan chases after Melly and follows her into the restaurant she is heading to. "Brought home" he said as Melly ordered chicken satay. "Gue won't wait to eat."

"Gue didn't tell you to wait for me," Tristan replied infuriatingly.

When Melly's order comes and she has to pay, Tristan prevents her from taking out her wallet.

"Let me pay" Tristan said, taking out his own wallet.

"No, no" said Melly. "Gue can pay for it."

"Gue's gonna pay for everything because I took this street mall," Tristan said. "So, don't talk a lot."

Eventually Melly lets Tristan pay for her order. He led Melly out of the restaurant while Melly sniffed the sate with a feeling of impatience to eat it immediately.

In the car, Tristan did not immediately take Melly home. He just drove for a while and parked the car between a bunch of cars parked by the side of the road. Melly just realized the other car belongs to Tristan's gang. Melly is happy to see the faces she knows, though a bit disappointed that she actually wanted to spend the night alone with Tristan. Maybe Tristan does not mean this date as a romantic date. Looks like he just wants to get Melly to eat and hang out with his gang members.

"Oy, Boss!" greet Robbin on Tristan as soon as they get out of the car. He was just like the rest of Tristan's gang somewhat shocked when he saw Melly. "Eh, there's Melly too."

"Hello" said Melly. His greeting was immediately reciprocated by all members of the Tristan gang. They were whispering to each other and seemed to be gossiping with Tristan.

Melly let Tristan chat with them. His stomach could no longer hold his hunger, so he took out his chicken satay. Its delicious aroma is immediately smelled by the noses of hungry wolves aka Tristan gang members.

"Well, there's satay!" exclaim Fabian excited. "For dong, Mell."

"Yes, for dong!" timpal O'Niel's. In a short time, he and Fabian had already arrived nearby. The other wolves also began to swarm Melly.

Tristan dispersed the herd. "When anyone dares to touch Melly's satay, that skewer will end up in your eel" he threatened.

This time Melly agreed with Tristan. "Have to take my satay, don't know the next time I'm tired."

But especially for Tristan, it looks like Melly had to offer him because Tristan had been kind enough to offer her sushi, even though Melly did not want it.

"Lo want?" he asked Tristan while whispering not to be heard by his gang members. She poked one skewer at him in a conspiring style.

Instead of taking it, Tristan instead grasped the hand of Melly who was holding the skewer and brought it closer to her mouth. During the bite of satay, then licked the satay spice left around her lips, she kept staring at Melly, for Melly it was very sexy. He was almost lying on the street because his knee suddenly went limp.

Melly doesn't know if any of Tristan's gang members saw her, but she doesn't care. His hand became hard to move after Tristan let go of his grip.

Long after the chicken satay runs out, Tristan finally invites Melly to come home.
