Chapter 54

Tristan looks surprised by the attitude that Melly shows to him and also his gang members. But Tristan remained calm. He knows Melly is trying to protect Ghevin, as Ghevin and Miko are also trying to protect Melly from her intrusion.

"Instead, without asking for anything, I'm trying to improve my relationship with Melly" Tristan told Ghevin. "And now seems to be the right time."

Slowly Melly releases her embrace of Ghevin when she realizes Tristan has no intention of attacking her.

Tristan turned to Melly. He looked at Melly with a smile. Melly hesitates at first, but she eventually returns Tristan's smile. How much Melly misses her smile...

Next to Melly, Ghevin snorted. Melly looked at him immediately. Ghevin stared at Melly and Tristan alternately with a tormented expression.

"I would be crazy if this was the way it was" murmured Ghevin, and after that, he turned his back and walked away without saying goodbye.

With Ghevin gone, now all eyes are focused on Melly. Melly stood up wrongly, while Tristan was still looking at her. Melly would love to talk to him, but there's something she needs to work out with Ghevin first.

"Mmm... Can you wait for me for a minute?" ask Melly. "I can't let Ghevin go so far."

"Sure" said Tristan.

To convince Tristan to wait, Melly said, "I'll be right back."

Tristan nodded. Melly immediately ran after Ghevin. From the voices that accompanied his departure, it seemed like people were starting to disperse themselves.

Ghevin walked fast. Melly caught her figure almost to the gate. When Melly called out to him, Ghevin stopped and turned his head towards her.

The first thing Melly did, as soon as she arrived before Ghevin, was to directly hug him without giving him a chance to talk. Ghevin protested and attempted to break away from Melly, but Melly did not let him.

Because Melly has been whiny lately, it is not surprising that her tears are flowing again. Ghevin stopped rebelling when he realized Melly was crying.

"Gue wants to apologize to you, Ghev," Melly said, sobbing. "Gue has written to you macem-macem. At that time I was angry again, so I carelessly talked."

"But what you're saying is that there really is" Ghevin said. "Gue is a coward. I have used your HP to lure Tristan dateng alone, but still, I do not dare to face it one-on-one. I even invited my gang members to gang up on him."

"I'm not doing that to prove anything" Ghevin said. "Gue just don't want to see you sad continue."

Melly's cry became more and more so to hear it. He tried to control himself while his tears continued to fall soaking Ghevin's clothes.

"Lo is a good brother, Ghev," Melly said. "Lo was very considerate, and always kept me from things that might hurt me. I was the one who was not aware and even thought you wanted to curb me. I even said I hate you. That's not true. I said that. You should know, Ghev, I'm aaaaang very similar lo."

Ghevin released a hug and immediately wiped Melly's tears. "Kalo you really love me, it means you can not cry anymore," he said. "Udah did not count how many times I passed in front of the room lo and denger lo again cry. Frankly, I'm so depressed because of that."

Ghevin must have been so depressed that he was willing to beg Tristan. To make Ghevin feel better, Melly showed Ghevin her widest whine.

Ghevin. "Why do you suddenly grunt like that?"

"Kan lo say I can't cry anymore" said Melly.

"Yes, but there is no need to grin like that too" Ghevin said. He was ready to continue his steps. "Gue wants to go home. You want to follow me, don't you?"

"Lo first," said Melly. "Gue wants to talk to Tristan first."

Hearing that, Ghevin shook his head while sighing. "When can I get used to seeing you as Tristan" he lamented. "Originally you know yes, I haven't been able to fully approve of your relationship."

"It's okay," Melly responded. "Slow down." Then Melly took Ghevin's hand. "Come, I'm anter lo nyampe to the car."

They then walked together. Although Ghevin repeatedly tried to remove his hand from Melly's arm, Melly kept holding him. Melly wanted to show everyone how much she loved her sister.
