The Dream of the President

The Dream of the President
Feel Guilty

Shasa moved in his sleep. He stroked the pillow beside him. Realizing Leo was not by her side, Shasa opened her eyes. "Darling? Darling?" He called Leo.

Leo opened the door and stepped in. "Darling..." Leo saw Shasa was awake.

"Where are you out of?"

"I spoke to Haris for a moment." Leo looked at Shasa who was rubbing his eyes. "Darling... After lunch, we'll be ready to go home."

Shasa was shocked and silent. "Aren't we just going home tomorrow?"

"There's a very emergency job. I need to get back to finish it. It's okay, right?"

Shasa nodded. "alright... I'll be ready." Shasa stood up and went into the bathroom to clean his body.

After finishing the bath, Shasa prepared in her room assisted by Lita. They pack clothes into Leo and Shasa's suitcase.

"Lita, where's Leo going?"

"The president is in front with Haris. Does the madam need anything?"

"Ah, no..." Shasa continued to tidy up her hair. After he finished, he came out of the room and saw Leo who was seriously talking to Haris' assistant. Unwilling to interrupt, Shasa goes straight to the dining table and sees the chefs preparing her lunch. Shasa looks to help arrange the dining table as well with the waiter in the kitchen.

"Dear." Leo had already appeared behind Shasa.

"Have finished? Let's eat first." Take Shasa.

Leo sat down in front of Shasa and started eating their lunch. After that, they prepared to leave the house and drive to the airport. Assistant Haris was so quick to take care of everything. Leo and Shasa have already started taking off.

Leo's private jet landed smoothly. Because the journey is quite far, they only arrive when it is dark. Leo's car is ready to pick up at the airport. They're heading straight home.

Shasa falls asleep on Leo's shoulder all the way home, while Leo is busy with his tablet checking out the work that is already waiting.

"Haris, cancel all my schedules for tomorrow morning. I'm going to the subsidiary's office."

"Good, Sir. I've also arranged meetings with the board of directors."

Leo nodded without taking his eyes off the tablet in his hand. Leo occasionally stroked Shasa's arm above his thigh.

After arriving in front of the house, Shasa was still asleep. For some reason, Leo did not dare to wake her up. Leo and Shasa's suitcases have been dropped off by the maids at home, but the owner is still in the car.

"Haris, open the door. I'll carry Shasa." Leo commands through his car window which is opened slightly.

Assistant Haris opens the door for Leo. Quickly, Shasa carried him and brought him directly to their room. Leo put Shasa on the bed carefully.

Lita stuffed all of Leo and Shasa's luggage into the room. He sees Leo who just put Shasa on the bed.

"Sir, do you want me to help you change Mrs Shasa's clothes?" Lita offers Leo a favor.

"no need. I'll take his clothes off." Answer Leo.

Lita was too happy to go home. He closes the room door and lets Leo and Shasa rest.

Shasa opened his eyes slowly. 'uh? In room?' thought Shasa in heart. In her memory, she was last on her way home in the car with Leo. He is now in his room and... 'My book has changed?!' Shasa was shocked to see her wearing a nightgown.

"Wake up, baby?" The voice of Leo. He was sitting on the sofa room with his laptop in front of him.

"You're tidy? Why didn't you wake me up from there?" Shasa is shocked to see Leo who is neat with his work clothes. During this time, Shasa always chose the work clothes that Leo would wear. Shasa felt a little regretful for missing his habit this morning.

Leo closed his laptop and got off the couch. He approached Shasa. "You've been asleep for almost 12 hours, baby. Are you in good health?" Leo checked Shasa's body heat using his palm.

"I'm fine, baby. I don't know why I'm tired and sleepy so fast." Shasa smiled. "I took a shower first."

Not yet Shasa stood up from the bed, Leo held Shasa's hand. "Darling, I'm leaving right now. I have a job to finish soon. Is it okay?"

"Have you had breakfast?" Shasa asked something else.

"Later I'll have breakfast on the way." Leo smiled.

Shasa's face was instantly sad. "I'm sorry, honey. I didn't wake up sooner, so you had to have breakfast on the way. I should have gotten up early and accompanied you to breakfast before I left."

"No, hon. Because it's time, not because you woke up late. I'll try to get home in time." Leo looked at Shasa's face. He kissed Shasa.

Shasa smiled at Leo. After staring at Shasa, Leo leaves for work and leaves Shasa alone in the room. The guilt in Shasa's heart still rumbled. He regretted not being able to be a good companion for Leo.

Shasa ate his breakfast with Lady Sofia and Commissioner Gusta. Shasa tells the story of his vacation with Leo. Shasa also apologized for not having time to buy souvenirs for these two in-laws.

"You take the public bus?" Commissioner Gusta didn't believe it.

"Yes, Pa." Shasa replied enthusiastically. "I've never been on a bus. I whine at Leo for a walk on a level bus."

"Then did he agree?" Commissioner Gusta confirmed.

"Yes." Yeah." Shasa nodded.

Lady Sofia had already laughed out loud, making Shasa clueless about the situation at this table. Lady Sofia seemed happy to hear Shasa's story, but Commissioner Gusta seemed to be shaking in disbelief.

"Shafira's... If I had known you would be riding in public transport, I would have sent a lot of bodyguards to look after you. Your safety and Leo's more important than anything. Not to mention that there's an amateur reporter who's seen you on a public bus. Tomorrow it will definitely appear in the news and newspapers." Obviously Commissioner Gusta.

Shasa only realized the reason why Commissioner Gusta was so protective of his family. Shasa felt guilty. "Sorry, Pa."

"Haha... Gusta, you seem to be worrying about unnecessary things. You see, Shasa said it so happily. I'm sure Leo did too."

Shasa feels there is still a lot he needs to learn about Leo. He looked at Commissioner Gusta and Lady Sofia alternately. The laughter of Lady Sofia still did not stop, let alone the face of Commissioner Gusta who still did not believe Shasa's story.
