The Dream of the President

The Dream of the President
Half Life Again

This large and luxurious treatment room felt silent. However, there is a perfect happiness behind the silence of the room guarded by dozens of guards outside. Not just anyone can enter that room. Of course, Commissioner Gusta perfectly guarded the next heir to the fortune and big name of the Gusta Family later.

Shasa was still lying in a hospital bed. His eyes were still closed and asleep after the struggle of life and death in the operating room. Not far from his bed, there was a box that became the source of the happiness of the Gusta Family today. The tiny baby, comfortably asleep wrapped in a warm blanket, looked good and began to adapt to the room temperature, which was the equivalent of a luxury five-star hotel.

On Shasa's side, Leo hadn't fallen asleep in the slightest since last night. Although his heart was relieved to see his son healthy and perfect, but his worries had not ended towards Shasa. Lady Sofia and Commissioner Gusta have returned home first to rest.

“Honey...” Leo calls Shasa who starts trying to open her eyelids.

“Sa...yang.. child..ku...” Shasa slowly spoke.

“Darling, are you okay? Are you feeling sick somewhere? I'll call a doctor for you.” Leo looked at Shasa worriedly.

Shasa did not answer. He only returned the grasp of Leo's hand that he hadn't let go since Shasa entered this room. Shasa smiled weakly. “Honey... I'm perfectly fine. I want to see my son.”

Leo immediately moved to call the nurse. Immediately, a special nurse entered Shasa's room. Careful the nurse carried the granddaughter of the Gusta Family. Leo did not take his eyes off his first son.

“Darling, can you hold my bed?” shasa pinta.

Leo moves in to straighten Shasa's bed, but suddenly the nurse stops him.

“Master, wait. Sorry, Madam. You may not wake up yet. We have to wait for the doctor to teach you to sit down. You can't change your position because your surgical wound may need recovery time.” Obviously the nurse.

“Alright, nurse. Just put the baby next to me.” Shasa responded.

The nurse placed baby Shasa right next to her. Shasa looked at the baby with a happy smile. While in the operating room, he only looked at her helplessly. But now, Shasa could see the baby as happy as possible.

“Suster, call doctor Sam here.” Leo gives the nurse orders without having Shasa distract her from the baby. The nurse nodded and saluted and walked out of the room to do as Leo commanded.

“Honey, this kid is very similar to you.” Shasa admired the baby. His eyes still did not budge from the plain face of the baby.

“Of course. I'm papanya.” Leo is proud.

“Then what is similar to me?” Shasa pouted a little.

“His courage.” Answer Leo.

“Huh, where did you know?”

“No one dared to wake me up in the middle of the night. Only this baby is brave.”

Shasa laughed at Leo's reply. The baby moved in surprise to hear Shasa's not-so-toned laughter. Shasa immediately stroked the baby and calmed him down. Leo automatically sits in a chair next to Shasa and helps pet the baby.

“Leo, when I married you, I gave you half of my life. Today, I'll give you half again.” Shasa. “You gave me a lot of things. I'd like to reward you with this kid instead. He's half my life.” Shasa looked at Leo. “I've given you my whole life. I entrusted my life to you. After this, never leave me. Maybe I no longer have much time for you because I'm busy taking care of this baby. Maybe, I'm not as attractive as I used to be because I have a scar on my body. Be the husband who loves me. Never change yourself for anything. My life is in your hands.”

Leo looked at Shasa so deeply. He saw a speck of water at the end of Shasa's eyes. Leo rubbed Shasa's cheeks gently. He swept Shasa's tears with his finger.

“How could I leave the woman who gave her life to give birth to my son? How could I change my affection for a woman who spends her time educating and raising my child? How could I not be interested in your beauty anymore just because of a scrap of wound to reward me with a boy?” Leo showered Shasa with questions. “I want to be the father my son respects. For that, I have to show her how I respect her mother.”

Shasa smiled widely. ‘I feel perfect with these two guys in front of me. You and my son.’ Inner Shasa.

Doctor Sam moves to Shasa's treatment room. He was wondering why Leo called him.

‘Hem. He just wants to show off that he's becoming a father now.’ Guess doctor Sam in his heart. Even a small laugh unconsciously came out of him when imagining Leo's show-off attitude later.

“Leo, you called me?” ask doctor Sam. “How about Mrs Shasa? Is she okay?”

“I didn't call you to question me, Sam.” Reply Leo flat. None of Sam's doctor's questions were answered. Sam's doctor raised an eyebrow at Leo's words.

“Then?” Ask Dr. Sam again.

“Why didn't you tell me that Shasa couldn't sit down after surgery? You made him just lay weak like that? You should have said what consequences post-surgery could have. Don't tell me you also made him unable to walk?” Leo bombarded Doctor Sam with his questions.

Doctor Sam grinned. ‘Gosh, this is what he wanted to tell me?’ inner Doctor Sam.

“Leo, that's a natural thing. The injury is new. It must be that Madame Shasa is still difficult to move flexibly. But it's only temporary. In the next few hours, the doctor will begin teaching her to sit and walk. Not that Madam Shasa can't sit and walk forever.” Doctor Sam replied rather irritatedly.

“You didn't cheat me, did you?” Leo narrowed his eyes.

“Gosh, how could I have tricked you. Believe me, soon Mrs Shasa can even run again as usual.”

Leo breathed a sigh of relief. His worries began to fade.

‘If your son hears this, he must be ashamed to have a father like you.’ Doctor Sam grumbled inwardly while shaking his head.

Epilogue:

Lady Sofia tidied her clothes into a large suitcase. He had just ordered his housemaid to decorate the nursery in the pavilions of Leo and Shasa. Lady Sofia has not slept at all since accompanying Shasa to give birth.

Commissioner Gusta, who had just woken up from his sleep, was shocked to see what Lady Sofia was doing.

“Sofia, do you want to escape from this house? Kenpaa are you packing a lot of clothes?” asked Commissioner Gusta in surprise.

“I want to stay in the hospital. I'll accompany my grandson all day.” Lady Sofia replied confidently.

“Then I will also stay.”

Lady Sofia turned to Commissioner Gusta.

“You think the hospital has how many beds?” reply Lady Sofia while leaving her waist.

“You think it's hard for me to add a bed in Shasa's room?” reply Commissioner Gusta.

Lady Sofia continued her activities. “Not all of you built a villa there, Gusta?” Syndir Nyonya Sofia.

“Will I do if you think so.” Commissioner Gusta relaxed.

“Hey, I feel sorry for my granddaughter for having a grandfather like you. Unwise to use his money.”

“Sofia, let alone the hotel, if my grandson wants to resort too, I will make it.”

Lady Sofia just snorted at the ravings of Commissioner Gusta.
