Farewell

Leo came home late at night. Due to Shasa's sudden arrival at the office this afternoon, all of Leo's schedules are forced to retreat. Leo had told Shasa that he was going home late. Now, Haris' assistant has escorted her home. Before Haris' assistant opened the door for him, Leo got out of the car without speaking and just waltzed in quickly to his room.

Leo opened the door. The condition of the room is dark, there are only sleeping lights on the right and left sides of the mattress that glow dimly. Leo's eyes circled the room as he did not see Shasa in the bed. Leo saw Shasa fall asleep on the sofa holding the television remote. Leo hurriedly approached him.

"Honey, why sleep here anyway?" Leo's grouse is alone. He lifts Shasa's body and moves it to the bed. A blanket covered Shasa's body. Leo looked at the sweet face of Shasa who was fast asleep.

"I don't know what your pretty brain thinks. You always make me feel guilty. Last afternoon I felt guilty for agreeing to give up my career. And now you're making me guilty of coming home late. He must have been bored all night waiting for me." Leo sighed softly.

Early in the morning at breakfast, Haris' assistant had already arrived home. Who usually just wait in front of the house from the car, now Haris' assistant is near the dining table watching a couple in front of him enjoy breakfast.

"Assistant Haris, have you had breakfast?" Shasa asked Haris' assistant while chewing the food in her mouth.

"Here you go, madam." Answer assistant Haris briefly.

Shasa realized that Leo was looking at him.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Shasa asked in surprise as Leo looked at him flatly.

"What do you want to talk about, Haris?" Not hinting at Shasa, Leo immediately asked Haris' assistant.

"I brought Mrs Shasa's resignation letter. Today I'll hand it over to the development team." Assistant Haris thrusting a map at the dining table. Shasa immediately took it and checked the contents.

"My resignation date is next week." Shasa nodded while continuing to read the letter. "Will this be approved? Company rules allow one month's resignation from the date of submission, right?" Shasa turned to Haris assistant.

"You're not worried, madam."

"Is there anything else you want to talk about?" Sahut Leo's.

"As Master ordered, I will prepare a farewell party for Madam."

"What's? No. gabe. I'll prepare it myself." Shasa refused.

"I'm the one who prepared, baby. All the instructions are from me." Leo interrupted.

"Darling... I can prepare it myself." Shasa seduce.

"The choice is only two, I prepare or the party is held at home. Just choose between those two."

Shasa moved his lips disappointed by Leo's words. "I don't have a choice." Shasa is not interested in Leo's offer.

"Haris, I'll catch up with you. Just wait in the car." Leo's orders.

Haris' assistant picks up Shasa's resignation letter folder at the table and leaves Leo and Shasa behind.

"Dear." Call Leo.

Shasa automatically turned towards Leo. "Yes?"

"When have you cared about Haris?"

Shasa looked confused. "Carers? Me?"

"You're asking him if he's had breakfast or not." Said Leo flat.

Shasa who had originally held back his laughter, let out a bitter laugh.

"Darling, I really like you. Especially if you're funny like this." Shasa still could not stop laughing. "Already, already. You have to go to work now."

Shasa escorted Leo to the front door. Leo gets ready to get in the car, but then he turns to face Shasa.

After that, Leo left for the office in his car. Shasa was still standing in front of the door staring at Leo who had already darted far away. Shasa sighed.

'Absolutely adorable. How can he look so mature and assertive in front of others, but he acts like a child in front of me?" Shasa's smile expands considering Leo in his mind.

A week had passed since Shasa submitted his resignation. Manager Lim seems to have been unable to accept so every day he calls Shasa and seduces him into cancelling his resignation.

Since Shasa's resignation spread to his office, many have talked about Shasa and his new life. Not a few who talk about Shasa from the side that is not good and not pleasant to hear.

"Of course he resigned. Conglomerate husband. No need to bother thinking about money, he already got it easily."

"His husband must have banned him from working. Where maybe a president has a wife who is an ordinary employee in his own company. She must be embarrassed."

"He's arrogant now. No longer bother to work and just stay relaxed spending her husband's property."

Tira to the annoyance of listening to all the bad talk. Time and again Tira defends Shasa in front of the people talking about him in the back. Tira thinks that those people are just jealous of Shasa who could be so lucky to get a perfect guy like Leo. He's handsome, rich.

Tira and Shasa's close friends never told Shasa the people who were gossiping about him. He was afraid Shasa would be pondering with people's talk.

Today the office friends who teamed up with Shasa, will have dinner with him at one of Leo's selected restaurants.

Lim's manager Tira and Shasa's team mates enter a fancy restaurant that they won't be willing to pay for a single meal here. They were ushered by the waiter of the restaurant into a special room in front of which lined up several people in black and neat clothes. They were Shasa's bodyguards who were guarding him during his time at the restaurant.

Shasa's friends enter a special room. Shasa was waiting inside.

"Hello! Welcome!" Shasa greeted his friends enthusiastically.

They immediately approached Shasa. Everyone misses because they haven't seen Shasa for long enough. Shasa greeted them one by one. Then, everyone sat in their seats. They enjoyed the sumptuous food that the waiters delivered. Some of Shasa's friends also took photos of his food and shared the images to their social media accounts.

After they finished eating they chatted casually and laughed together. Shasa watched his friends one by one. There are so many memories they have together. Seeing them as fun as this made Shasa a little sad for having to part from them. Four years is not a short time. Difficult, happy, sad, angry, upset, disappointed Shasa has faced during his career in his office. These friends are like family to Shasa.

But life will continue to go on. Someone comes and someone goes. In every cycle of human life there are often surprises that can not be expected. There are choices to be faced. And today, Shasa has made her life choice.

'I didn't stop my dreams. I was just building a new dream that was more precious than my previous dreams.' Shasa's inner smile looked at the happy faces of her friends tonight.

Epilogue:

Everyone was ready to leave the dining room. After a sumptuous dinner, they hug Shasa on his last day as an employee of XY Group.

They walked together to the restaurant lobby. Shasa squinted his eyes at a car he recognized parked in front of the lobby. Sure enough, the person Shasa guessed as the owner of the car got out of his car. His friends were surprised to see Leo standing in front of the lobby.

"You guys having fun?" Ask Leo kindly to Shasa's friends.

"Of course, sir. Thank you for dinner today." Manager Lim replies to Leo.

"Don't thank me. My wife invited you." Leo smiled as he glanced at Shasa.

"Friends, I say yes first. Thank you for having dinner with me. Make sure we keep a good relationship after this." Shasa said goodbye to his friend.

Leo pulls Shasa's body and takes him into the car. Leo smiled at Shasa's friends before leaving her.

In the car, Leo talks to Shasa. "You're not parting with them. You just don't work with them anymore. But they are still your friends." Shasa smiled at Leo. He wrapped his arms around Leo's body all the way home.
