The Dream of the President

The Dream of the President
Orphanage

Doctor Sam did a regular checkup. Now Shasa is sure to recover. Despite that, Shasa's food and rest periods are still heavily guarded.

"Doctor Sam, may I ask you a question?" Shasa opened his voice as Sam's doctor finished examining him.

"Of course, Madam. Please."

"What was the main cause of my miscarriage yesterday?"

"If based on the examination, you are too tired at that time. The condition of pregnancy is still so young let alone it is your first pregnancy, very vulnerable and at risk. In some people, it may be fine, even if it is still working or doing as usual. However, for some other people, including you, work or activities can actually affect the fetus. In fact, there are also some people who have to rest in bed as long as the person is pregnant."

Shasa let out his breath. "Does that mean I can't work or do any more things if I get pregnant?"

"It's not exactly like that, ma'am. It takes adjustment and caution when you are pregnant. No need to go far, maybe you have to adjust your food pattern and what foods enter your body. The same is true when a worker then she gets pregnant. It takes adjustment between his body and his activities. I think, because you do not realize that you are pregnant, you so go through the adjustment period that you become less careful with your pregnancy. Uh, but, that doesn't mean I blame you. As I said earlier, there are also people who are pregnant and do not realize it, then he remains busy as usual, but the condition of the fetus is fine. Everyone has different body endurance and fetal conditions."

Shasa looked sad and disappointed. "If I had realized first that I was pregnant, it might never have happened."

'Die me! If Leo ever sees his wife sad again because of me, I might get fired!' inner doctor Sam.

"Don't worry, Madam. Right now, we'll be holding onto your monthly schedule. We started monitoring your calendar for the month. So if you're late for your period, we'll do a checkup on you."

"I feel like I look like an insensitive woman, huh?"

"Madam, if I may advise, there is a difference between unmarried and married women. If both are late menstruation, the indications are different. Unmarried women, less likely to get pregnant, unless she has an extramarital relationship yes, it's different again. If a married woman is late for menstruation, she may become pregnant. Therefore, you should pay more attention to your monthly schedule after marriage."

"Ah. All right, I get it. Oh right, doctor, did Leo say anything at the time?" Shasa asked curiously.

"Ep... He didn't say anything, unless he asked me to make you recover again, otherwise I would lose my job." Answer doctor Sam plain.

'God! Why is he threatening people because of me!' shasa's inner self, so it's not good for Doctor Sam.

A visit to the orphanage arrived. Eventually, Leo allowed Shasa to go there, of course with a long talk before he left. Lita, a special nurse, as well as several bodyguards were also included with Shasa. Whatever, Shasa thought. The important thing is that he can go outside the house and visit the orphanage.

Lady Sofia cannot accompany Shasa because she has to meet her business colleagues. So, Shasa only met with the core administrators of the foundation in the orphanage later.

Shasa's car takes him away, followed by two other cars accompanying Shasa. After arriving at the orphanage, Shasa got out of the car and was greeted by the foundation's core caretaker in front of the entrance of the orphanage.

One by one they greeted Shasa. But, no one dared to express his condolences for the miscarriage he had experienced. Of course, Niko had already taken care of everything so no one dared to discuss it. Before Shasa and the foundation's caretaker stepped inside the parlor, suddenly a car landed at the entrance. Shasa and the foundation manager looked back to see who had come.

"Leo!" Shasa is flabbergasted to see Leo getting out of his car with Haris' assistant.

Leo walked over to Shasa. The administrators of the foundation saluted Leo, who was only replied with a one-time nod.

"Darling, I'll keep you company here." Obviously this is not a question from Leo, but a statement.

"You're not going to the office?" Shasa who was still surprised did not play.

Leo shakes.

"Sir, of course with pleasure, you can join." Said one of the core managers who seemed to be attracting Leo's attention.

"Just ignore me. Make your visit as planned." Leo's orders. His presence here was indeed only to keep an eye on Shasa.

Shasa so remembers the old days he lived in the parlour. His heart could not yet forget how sad it was to live in a parlour. Shasa's eyes were already glazed over. Then, Leo clasped his hands tightly while walking. Shasa turned his head towards Leo who was looking straight ahead. Leo's touch really gives Shasa strength.

Inside the parlour, they saw children of different ages. Some are babies, some are teenagers. They do activities from inside the parlors, including learning and playing.

When passing through one of the parlour rooms, there was the sound of baby crying so loud. Shasa searched for the source of the sound. Then, she stepped into a room and saw a baby crying in the sling of one of the nannies in the parlour. Shasa approached the baby and smiled at the nanny who was trying to calm the baby down.

"May I carry it?" Ask Shasa gently.

"But this baby is crying, ma'am. You might get a fuss." The nanny replied hesitatingly.

"It's okay." Shasa had already reached out her hand hoping the caretaker would give the baby to her. The babysitter handed the crying baby to Shasa's arms. He hugged the baby and calmed her down. Shasa covered his sad face by turning away from the people who were staring at him. Maybe Shasa's been living in a parlour since she was a baby. He could hear the longing cries of the baby in his arms.

Leo approached Shasa. He could guess what Shasa was feeling. Leo wrapped his arms around Shasa's waist and stroked his back. Shasa turned to look at Leo and looked at him. Leo is seen shaking his head, asking Shasa not to be sad.

Shasa calmed the baby down by stroking his tiny body. Slowly, the baby muffled her cries. Shasa rubbed his soft cheeks, wiping away the tears of the baby that had been breaking ever since.

The baby began to calm down. Shasa tried to put him to sleep. Since then, Lita has told other foundation administrators to continue touring the orphanage. They leave Leo and Shasa in the room.

When Shasa wanted to move his hand slightly, he immediately complained quietly.

"Why, baby?" Leo's panicked.

Shasa laughed. She tried to point at her hair held by the baby she was carrying.

"Hi little baby, why are you pulling my wife's hair?" Leo teases the baby while releasing his clutch of hands that clench Shasa's hair. "I never pulled my wife's hair."

Shasa laughed without a sound. She was afraid the baby would wake up again. Once safe, Shasa handed the baby over again to the nanny. He looked at the sleeping baby before leaving. Leo could see Shasa's face which held a lot of flavor. Leo did not remove his arm from Shasa's waist.

Upon exiting the room, Leo and Shasa are shocked that a ball has landed on their feet. Leo took the ball. Then a child ran towards him.

"Sorry, um." The boy said somewhat scared.

Leo squealed to the height of the boy and handed the ball to him. He stroked the boy's head gently. Shasa smiled at the sight that was soothing to his heart.

'Leo must have wanted to be a father. I could see that desire from her eyes.' Inner Shasa endured sadly considering the incident of her miscarriage some time ago.

Epilogue:

Leo's car has arrived in front of the XY Group office lobby. Leo did not move down in the slightest. His face seemed to be thinking about something.

"Haris, take me to the orphanage that Shasa went to."

One command destroyed Leo's schedule the next few hours. It was troublesome, thought assistant Haris.

"I'm not just afraid he's exhausted. What I feared the most, he remembered his past there."
