Departing Together

Today was the first time Shasa had left for the office with Leo. Not until they were in the office, there was already a small debate in the car.

"Assistant Haris, please drop me off at the stop near the office." Shasa leaned towards Haris' assistant who was behind the wheel.

"Hey, why do you even want to be dropped off by the side of the road? Can't do. We're in the office together." Leo protest.

"It'll be a real thrill if I get down in the lobby. It will be a talkative material. Why would I get a car with you? What does this have to do with you?"

"Suami-wife." Leo answered briefly. Shasa hit Leo on the shoulder.

"Why do you like hitting me so much?" Leo grumbled while stroking his shoulder.

"Miss, you don't have to worry. I'll drop you at the basement entrance. There's only a VIP parking lot nearby, so there won't be many people passing by." Assistant Haris provides solutions.

"You can use the VIP elevator too." Leo added.

Shasa glanced slowly with a sinister gaze as if refusing to use the VIP elevator. Leo looked at Shasa's sinister face and chose to turn his face the other way.

"Assistant Haris, is there a regular elevator around there?"

"There's madam. On the right side of the VIP elevator, there is a regular elevator that can be used up to your floor."

"alright. Um... By the way, why are you talking so formally to me?" Shasa asked Haris' assistant.

"It's obvious, because you're my wife." Leo. But it was precisely in reply to the cynical gaze by Shasa.

Niko handed an envelope to Commissioner Gusta's desk. He also reveals one by one the origin of Shasa. Even more surprising, Niko also tells that Leo has married Shasa.

Commissioner Gusta was thinking. She still can't believe that her son is married without telling her.

"Then, do they live together?" Ask Commissioner Gusta again.

Niko took it slow. "The woman also lives in Mr. Leo's apartment."

"alright. Keep an eye on them. Don't do anything to her. Make sure this information is not spread anywhere. I don't want any news mentioning the heir to XY Group getting married secretly."

"Good, Sir." Niko saluted and stepped out of Commissioner Gusta's room.

"Relic." Commissioner Gusta called back. Niko stopped her steps and turned her back. "Retemember time. I'm gonna go see that woman and let Leo know."

At night, Leo and Shasa were each busy in the room. Leo is busy with his laptop, while Shasa is busy alone relaxing in Leo's favorite chair. He looked at the night sky from the glass roof of the chair.

Leo approached Shasa and sat down on the chair as well on Shasa's side, blocking the glass roof he was looking at.

"Do you prefer to look at that roof or me?" Ask Leo teasingly.

"Ish, you're this. Just bother me." Shasa pouting.

"You're so serious that you didn't hear me call you from earlier."

"Oh yeah? You summoned? Hahahaha sorry."

Leo smiled faintly.

"Why did you call me?"

"I'll be out of town tomorrow. I doubt whether to take you or not." Leo looks serious.

"Go away. I have to work."

"But I don't want to leave you here alone."

"What are you worried about? I'll be fine." Shasa spoke leisurely and leaned back on the chair.

"I'll send you a car and a driver. No more commuting to work with your scooter. Do I have to hire a bodyguard for you?" Leo thought for a moment.

"Haha... What the hell! I don't need a bodyguard. I'm not a kid anymore. You don't have to worry. Work quietly." Shasa tried to convince.

Leo brought his face closer to Shasa's. He looked at Shasa's eyes, nose, and lips. He looked at Shasa so closely. While being looked at, so nervous not careless.

"Of course I'm afraid to miss you. I didn't know falling in love would make me this possessive." Leo stroked the smooth cheek of Shasa. He drew his wajh closer to Shasa making Shasa slowly close his eyes. Leo smiled looking at Shasa and immediately kissed her forehead long enough. Shasa was shocked and opened his eyes. 'Hey, what was I thinking about closing my eyes earlier?' inner Shasa was a bit embarrassed.

Leo finished by peeping Shasa's forehead once more. And his gaze went down looking at Shasa's face. Leo held Shasa gently. Surprised by Leo's embrace, but Shasa doesn't reject him either. 'Did I fall in love with her?' Shasa wondered at his heart.

"One thing you should remember. I never intended to leave you. So don't try to escape. Let me know if you need anything. And pick up my phone on the first ring." Leo seemed to be lecturing Shasa with his commands.

'I don't know how to express that I love you. I've never done it in my entire life. I only protect people I care about. That's my expression.' Leo whispered in his heart.
