The Dream of the President

The Dream of the President
By ourselves

“Doctor Sam, are you coming?” Shasa who was relaxing in the living room after dinner, greeted doctor Sam who had just entered his pavilion. “Oh, hi, doctor. You also came apparently.” Shasa is shocked to see his obstetrician walking after Sam's doctor from behind.

“Halo, Mistress. How are you doing? Are you in good health?” reply doctor Sam say hello.

“Of course. I'm very healthy. What do you want to do here?” Shasa did not know the reason these two doctors came to his house.

“Leo, calling. He also asked me to take your gynecologist.” Answer doctor Sam.

“Ah. But it just so happens that he's in his study right now with Haris' assistant. It seems like there is work they are finishing. In a moment yes, I will call him first.” Shasa had wanted to get up from his seat, but someone stopped him.

“Where are you going, baby? Sit.” Leo arrived in the middle room. She walked up to Shasa and led him to sit on the sofa together. Her assistant also joined the room.

“I want to know the condition of my wife's pregnancy, as well as the estimated date of her delivery.” Leo started the conversation seriously.

“Honey, why suddenly ask that? Not long ago we checked with the doctor and you can check the doctor's records.” Shasa interrupted Leo's question.

“I didn't ask you. I want to hear the doctor's explanation directly.” Leo responded firmly to the point of making Shasa speechless again.”

“According to the examination records last week, the condition of Mrs Shasa and the baby is very good. The estimated date of birth is approximately 3 weeks ahead.” Doctor Sam explained.

“I want to know the exact date.” Leo confirmed what he wanted to know.

“Master, as a medical team, we can only estimate his birth date based on his gestational age and the condition of the baby. If you ask for the exact date, it's impossible to say. It could have been a faster delivery date, it could have been slower. There are several factors that affect it.” Obstetrician Shasa explained in detail.

“Is there something you're worried about?” doctor Sam asked.

Leo glanced towards Shasa. “I wonder if it doesn't matter if I leave Shasa in the next few days. I don't want to go past my wife's delivery date.” Said Leo who did not move his gaze away from Shasa.

Shasa looked at Leo and saw there was worry in his eyes. Shasa sighed while thinking. He is eager to convince Leo that everything will be fine and not to worry excessively.

“How long are you going to go?” ask doctor Sam.

“Ten to fourteen days. I'll try to get home sooner.” Answer Leo.

As if understanding what Leo wanted, Sam's doctor responded immediately. “I will send a special nurse who will monitor the contents of Mrs Shasa. We'll tell you about his progress every day. You can work as usual and not have to worry about anything.”

“Darling, you saw me, right? I'm very good and healthy. So is your son. Trust me that I'll take care of your son. He will wait for his father to come home. Go and come back healthy and safe. Your son will be fine until you return.” Shasa spoke very carefully.

Leo breathed heavily. “Good. I've discussed my departure with mom and dad too. I've assigned more servants to watch over you.”

'Ish... If he has arranged everything, why still gather these doctors night-night.’ Inner Shasa was upset.

“ Anyway, you can't give birth before I go home.” Said Leo seriously and looked at Shasa deeply.

Shasa let out a heavy breath. “Alright, darling. Whatever happens, I'll hold my labor until you get back.” Shasa said somewhat irritatedly. ‘Son, mom please understand your papa's attitude.’ Inner Shasa while caressing her big belly.

Shasa tidied up Leo's suitcase for his departure tomorrow. He made sure no one was left behind. Shasa also sent a message to Haris' assistant to remind Leo of his needs during his overseas service later.

This is the first time Leo has left Shasa for a long time. This is what makes Leo think of thousands of ways to keep an eye on Shasa. Leo was still discussing some things with his house servants.

“Darling, why are you cleaning my suitcase alone?” Leo rushed up to Shasa and helped her close the suitcase.

“I want to make sure no one is left behind.” Shasa looked at Leo beside him. “I want you to remember me every time you take clothes from inside your suitcase.”

Now, Leo also looked at Shasa. “Then I will not allow Haris to prepare my clothes.” Leo smiled broadly. “I'll call you as often as possible. Don't miss your vitamins every night.” Shasa nodded at Leo's advice. “Don't do anything I don't like.”

“What don't you like?” ask Shasa.

“Anything that can hurt you.” Answer Leo straightforwardly.

Shasa smiled at Leo's reply. “You too. Don't do anything I don't like.”

“What don't you like?” Leo asked back.

“Whatever makes you forget me.” Shasa wrapped his arm around Leo's shoulder.

“Good.” Leo was about to hug Shasa, but something surprised him. “Ah!”

“Why baby?” shasa asked in surprise as well.

“Your son kicked me. Looks like, he is very possessive towards you.”

Both laughed at the same time. ‘Why didn't you realize anyway? Your son is just like you!’ inner Shasa gaunty.

After Leo's departure overseas with Haris' assistant this morning, Shasa spent a lot of time at home with his servants. As usual, nothing is different. Only, Commissioner Gusta became more frequent in the Shasa pavilion and Lady Sofia became more frequent in calling Shasa.

In the afternoon, Leo sends a message to Shasa that the plane has landed safely. However, Leo had not had time to call him because he had to directly take care of the work there. Shasa was so relieved to hear that.

At night, Shasa spends time in the room. He was texting Gaby. Not infrequently Shasa laughs amusedly reading Gaby's messages, so that she can slightly forget her longing for Leo.

Melam getting thicker. Shasa was not sleepy. He surrounded the room with his eyes. He imagines every activity that Leo does every day. Reading books, turning on the television, eating fruit, made Shasa smile a little as she remembered it.

Until midnight, Shasa still had not slept either. For some reason, he misses Leo a lot.

“I just realized how much Leo's presence means next to me. Although he was very noisy and unceasingly worried about me, but his attitude was what made me calm through every second of my days. It must be strange if you don't hear the noise.” Shasa pondered at him inwardly while smiling faintly.

We will never know the meaning of a person's presence before he leaves our lives. Shasa is grateful that Leo is often chatty about him because it is a sign of Leo's affection. Perhaps Shasa would feel lost if Leo turned quiet and no longer fussed at him.

“However you are, I am grateful that I know you love me. I'd be even more afraid if you didn't become as troublesome as you are now.” Unknowingly Shasa laughed a little. “Ah. I'll just stay in Lita's room tonight.” Shasa took his sleeping robe and stepped out of the room. He walked towards Lita's room cautiously. The lights in his pavilion had already dimmed since everyone had already fallen asleep in the middle of the night like this.

Shasa was about to knock on Lita's room door, but the doorknob of her room was already moving and the door was slightly open. Shasa was surprised to see the person who opened the door of Lita's room and kept her from blinking for a few seconds.

“Niko?”
