The Dream of the President

The XY Group company. Vip Floor.

"Good day, miss, can anyone help?" The receptionist warmly greets Shasa and Lim's manager.

"We had a meeting with the president. Development meeting." Shasa politely replied by displaying his smile. Shasa was nervous for the first time meeting with the new president.

'Hopefully the president did not eat me' Shasa hoped inwardly.

"Please miss, you can enter the president's room." Answer the receptionist kindly while showing the direction of the president's room with his arms.

"Well, thank you" Shasa and manager Lim walked towards the president's room.

No time to knock on the door, suddenly there was someone who came out of the presidential room.

"Oh, assistant Haris!" Call manager Lim. His face was already sumringah but precisely the person in front of him was just a stiff silence.

"Please, the president is waiting for you." Haris' assistant said expressionlessly. Assistant Haris opened the door for managers Lim and Shasa. Both entered the office of President.

While closing the door, Haris' assistant seemed to be recalling something. 'It looks like the woman is the owner of the ID card that the president found.' Haris whispered inwardly.

"Good day Mr. President" greeting from manager Lim to the president while bowing his body.

Shasa tried to see the president in front of him. Because it is very glare, only the silhouette of the president is visible. The man stood up from his chair and approached the manager Lim and Shasa. After the light was no longer glare, Shasa clearly saw the face of the president in front of him. Shasa shocked widened his eyes.

"You?!" Shasa was shocked.

Leo looked cynically while standing straight with his arm stuffed into his pants pocket. Leo didn't bully Shasa. "I only have 30 minutes to listen to you. Please start the meeting." Leo pointed to the meeting table flatly.

'What?! You crazy man! He didn't talk to me at all and said he only had 30 minutes to listen to a 3-year project? What's in his brain?' grouse Shasa in heart.

After 30 minutes of walking and one by one presentation slides have been displayed, Shasa speeds up his presentation and starts closing.

"And to close our presentation today, let me give you the word pearl. Since we work in a development team where every day we make new dreams and try to make them happen, here's a little phrase we might be able to motivate" Shasa stared with a smile around him.

"The big dream, can arise from an intelligent brain. But a great dream, arising from the earnestness of the heart. Your dreams are a reflection of your heart. Don't force him to be formed from your thoughts, let him be born from your heart" Shasa said with a bright smile.

Hearing the closing from Shasa, manager Lim gave a proud ovation. However, not with the other 2 people in the room. The president and his assistant only looked at Shasa expressionlessly.

'Hey, why can this person look like twins with their expressions?' inner Shasa smirked.

"What do you mean by those words? Are you saying that people don't have dreams means they don't have hearts?" Cecar President to Shasa.

"Mom, not Mister. Not like that, my point is we're on the development team working from the heart for this company." Shasa panicked.

Leo snorted dissatisfiedly.

"I didn't ask you Haris" Leo replied annoyedly.

'I just feel like there's some innuendo in it.' Leo said inwardly.

Presentation is finished. The tension at the end of the presentation ended as manager Lim broke the situation with his chatter of boasting about the development team. The president hinted to Haris' assistant that he did not want to hear manager Lim's babble again. Haris' assistant ended their meeting and asked manager Lim and Shasa to move back to their respective places.

Shasa who had already walked out of the room, suddenly turned around again.

"Mr Leo, I'm sorry. Is it possible you saw my ID card time on the rooftop?" Shasa asked timidly as well as fearfully.

"I? Didn't you say I'm a ghost? And you're still asking me that now?" Reply Leo ketus.

"What! Ti, no. I'm not saying you're a ghost. Really Master. I was just shocked to see suddenly there was someone on the rooftop so I asked if you were human?"

"Well, that. That question. In conclusion you want to say that I'm a ghost, right?"

"Eh, no sir. Hehe... Sorry sir, so you didn't see it? Well sir, thanks for the information." Shasa immediately ran away from the President's room.

After Shasa leaves, Leo calls Haris' assistant.

"Har, to my room. Return the ID card to the owner. You don't have to tell me who and where it was found." Leo's orders.

"Okay, Mr. Leo." Close Haris' assistant on his phone.

After turning off his phone, Leo opens a blue map containing Shasa's resume.

Shasa returned to his desk with a feeling of relief. The job bomb he suffered yesterday is over. Now, he can relax a little while checking out his team work.

Before long, Shasa's phone rang showing 1 message:

'Sha, why not a story? Go home from the office, tell everyone! Don't want to know!'

The message was from Gaby. In the past, Shasa, Gia, and Gaby were friends while in college. After graduation, Shasa and Gia worked at XY Group, while Gaby continued her studies abroad. For Shasa, his only two friends, he wants to tell his personal things. But instead Gia plays naughty in the back and cheats with Shasa's girlfriend.

From the message that Gaby sent, it seemed like she already knew there was a problem between Shasa and Dion. Shasa has not told anyone because yesterday he was bombarded by his president.
