The Dream of the President

Lunch

Leo had already arrived at the office with Haris' assistant following him. Assistant Haris reminds Leo that his schedule is solid today. Leo will have several meetings with the director and operations manager.

"Haris, you've got the heart to give me a schedule like this." Leo quipped Haris' assistant while checking the email on his tablet.

"Sorry, Sir. Because some schedules have been pushed back many times, so I have to switch it to another day, one of them today."

"Just keep scheduling me home on time."

"Good, Sir."

"Haris, send a bouquet of flowers home."

Assistant Haris thought for a moment. "For whom, sir?"

"For my wife, of course." Leo's still fiddling with the tablet. "Well, that's like this." Leo pointed a large bouquet of flowers from his tablet to Haris' assistant.

"Is Madam today her birthday, sir?" Ask Haris' assistant plain.

Leo turned his gaze to Haris assistant and looked at her. "Do you think I'd be here if today was his birthday?" Leo leaned his back against the chair. "I don't have to wait for a special day to give her flowers."

Assistant Haris smiled. He was like seeing the old Leo again, who was crazy about Shasa to do things that surprised Shasa without being able to guess.

"Alright, sir, I'll prepare." Assistant Haris had wanted to leave, but he stopped. "Sir, when will Madam Shasa be back in the office again? It's been more than 2 weeks madam rested at home."

Leo sighed. "Eitherway. I'm still not sure if I'm going to the office again. But I would look evil, wouldn't I keep him locked up at home? I had to make things normal again, like before, like nothing happened. I'll talk to him tonight." Then Leo suddenly squinted his eyes at Haris' assistant.

"Sir, why do you see me like that?"

"When have you cared about my wife?"

One corner of Haris's assistant's lips twitched holding back a laugh. 'Sir, you're really back. Your jealousy that blindly has shown the habit of your behavior if the name of Mrs Shasa touted.' her inner.

"Sorry, it's not, sir. I just thought that if Madam came back to the office, it would be easier for you to meet her just in case you suddenly wanted to meet."

Leo smiled in disdain. Assistant Haris shook his head slowly, not believing the behavior of this boss.

Shasa was already preparing in his room. He wears a neat and polite formal dress. The makeup on her face was natural but still sweet to look at. The servant who helped her prepare had come out of Shasa's room.

"Lita, don't tell him I'm going there. I want to surprise her."

"Okay, Madam."

Shasa walked out of the room and headed to the front door. The car and driver are ready. Shasa gets into the car with Lita.

Along the way, Shasa was silent. Lita who was sitting next to him so guessed what Shasa was thinking. I don't know what he wanted to do because a while after Lita came earlier, Shasa immediately asked him to take Shasa to the office. Not to work, but to meet Leo.

Lita thought about the contents of Shasa's head. This morning Shasa had breakfast with Leo. And it had only been a few hours since Leo left for work, Shasa had already wanted to catch up with him. Whether because of longing or what, Lita did not know.

In the XY Group office lobby, Shasa was greeted with respect by officers in the lobby. Shasa smiled kindly at them while walking towards the VIP elevator. Just in the elevator, Lita pulled out her phone and typed in a message.

'At least, Haris should know that the Madam will arrive in the President's room.' Shasa's inner self.

When a message from Lita rang on the phone of Haris' assistant, how shocked she was to run straight into Leo's room. Haris' assistant was a bit irritated because Lita had just told him after arriving at the office, even they were already in the elevator to the President's room.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Leo asked who was surprised to see Haris' assistant already in front of him.

"Master, sorry. Madam Shasa came to the office. He's already headed to your room."

'Dangerous. Why did he come at this time. The President's schedule must have been a mess again.' Haris' assistant grumbled in his heart. He immediately followed outside the room.

"Darling!" Leo saw Shasa outside the room having a small chat with his secretary.

Shasa smiled at Leo. He approached the point where Leo was standing.

"Darling..." Reply Shasa greeted.

"Why didn't you tell me you wanted to come?"

"I want to surprise you. Am I bothering you? Suddenly I want to have lunch with you." Jasab Shasa's.

'Huh... I think Shasa is why. Turns out he just wanted to have lunch with me. Leo's mind was relieved. He thought, Shasa may have come because there was something important or emergency.

"You should have called me if you wanted to have lunch together. I'll go home and have lunch with you."

Shasa shook his head. "You must be bothered if you have to go home. So, I'm the only one here." Shasa smiled innocently. Unaware of Haris's dizzy assistant's face thinking about Leo's schedule.

'Lunch at home or lunch here, same thing, ma'am. Equally making the President's schedule messy.' Inner assistant Haria grinned. He looked at Lita who was standing behind Shasa with a murderous look.

Leo took Shasa by the hand, bringing him into the room.

"Haris, I'll have lunch here. Prepare everything." Leo's orders when he enters the room.

Assistant Haris understands that that means having the dining table in his room, preparing the food, and canceling all his schedules in the next few hours. Leo is impossible and will not refuse if Shasa has asked for something.

Inside the room, Shasa sits on the couch reading some magazines, while Leo finishes some of his work. Leo just got back from a meeting. So, he just touched his documents while sitting at the table a few minutes before Shasa came.

Fast as lightning, Haris' assistant, assisted by Lita, prepares a lunch table for Leo and Shasa. He immediately ordered food from one of the restaurants that used to be Leo's place to eat.

After lunchtime, Leo finishes his job and approaches Shasa, who is relaxing on the sofa.

"Darling, let's eat." Take Leo with her hand.

Shasa welcomed Leo's hand and walked to a table that Haris and Lita's assistants had prepared so neatly. It was located near the window of Leo's room so they could see the view of tall buildings in the blue sky.

Leo and Shasa start to enjoy the food. In the middle of the meal, Shasa opened her voice.

"Darling..." Shasa's call makes Leo automatically turn to him. "After careful thought, for the common good, it looks like I will resign from my job."

The deg! Leo was surprised to hear Shasa's wish. An idea that never dares to be dazed in the mind of Leo all this time.

Epilogue:

Shasa receives a large bouquet of flowers from Leo. He was so happy that he smiled at the flower himself.

Leo never gave her flowers. Shasa does not think that Leo can read Shasa's wishes for a long time. He immediately thought of the idea of returning flowers from Leo.

'I'll surprise him at the office and have lunch there. At once it would be a good time to also say about my plan.' Inner Shasa with a smile on her face.

Shasa does not know that his presence will actually make Haris' assistant work hard to manage Leo's schedule that has been messy since Shasa miscarried some time ago.
